1 1. Fell for her

Lara Wright was walking out of Page industries with an extremely happy face. She had got the opportunity to interview for the manager to CEO post.

Just an hour ago she had gotten a call from the company requesting her to come for an immediate interview. She cleared the first level with ease. They were very impressed with her performance and asked her to come tomorrow for a proper interview.

It has been only 10 days since she graduated from Empire university, one of the top most educational institution, with the highest scores and honours.

She was only 23 years old. She graduated college 2 years before any average student would graduate. And now, just within 10 days she has got the opportunity to interview in one of the top most company.

She was so over the moon while walking that she accidentally bumped into a man. The man dropped the file which he was holding, and she immediately bent down to pick it up, and said, " I'm extremely sorry sir. This is completely my fault. Sorry. "

She looked up at the man. He was wearing a black suit with a grey tie. He had a cold face. She immediately handed him the file and said, "Sorry ", and walked away.

Liam Page was the CEO of Page industries. An extremely cold person with a no care attitude. Everyone feared him for when he flew into a rage no one could predict what would become of the person who made him angry. Women want to be with him and try every way to seduce him only to be cold shouldered by him.

Today morning he wasn't in a good mood. He was viewing an urgent file while walking into the company when he bumped into Lara. He was about to fly into rage but the moment his eyes fell on her he was stunned.

She was a complete beauty. He could tell by looking at her face that she didn't use much makeup, a natural beauty. Her beautiful blue eyes, golden hair and pink lips had him stuck on her face.

He was still in a daze and hadn't noticed that she had walked away after apologising. Only when his secretary Levy spoke did he come out of the daze

Levy was scared the minute Lara bumped into Liam. He knew how his boss reacted when he was in a bad mood and since he had seen that Liam was in a bad mood today, he was worried about the girl.

' Poor girl. God knows what boss is going to do to her '.

But when he saw that his boss was staring at her in a daze and didn't say anything he was stunned. He picked up the courage and asked, "Boss are you okay? "

Liam snapped out of his daze and nodded. He immediately turned to see where she was. But she was gone.

He thought, 'God! What a beauty..... I have never seen anyone like her. I should ask Miles to find about her as soon as I clear this mess'. He quickly focused his thoughts and continued walking.

Lara had reached the bus station by then and was going to get on a bus when she suddenly received a call. It was from Imperial hospital.

She remembered giving her name there asking them to contact her if they needed blood as she was of a rear group AB negative. She immediately answered.

"Is this Miss Lara Wright? ", the caller asked as soon as Lara put her phone to her ear. "Yes.", Lara replied.

" Ma'am I am calling from the Imperial hospital. We need you to come to the ICU immediately as a patient in labour is suffering severe blood loss. She is of the same blood group as yours. So can you-" , the nurse spoke quickly.

"I'll be there as soon as I can", she replied before the nurse could finish her words and hung up.

She hailed a cab and asked the driver to drive her to the hospital immediately. She reached there within 10 minutes and started running towards the ICU.

Just as Liam entered his office his phone rang. When he saw the caller ID he frowned. It was his mother, Emily.

He answered the call hesitantly. His eyes widened the instant he heard what she said and immediately replied, "I'll be there soon ".

He turned and instructed Levy, "Get the vehicle ready. We need to go to the hospital fast. Lina has gone into labour and is suffering severe blood loss."

Both of them started running towards the entrance.

Lina was Liam's beloved younger sister. Levy knew how much he cared and loved his sister, even though his relationship with his mother was not positive.

They quickly reached the hospital and started rushing towards the ICU. When he asked about her condition, a nurse outside told, "Mr. Page, Miss Page is suffering from blood loss. But please don't worry, a donor is on her way. She will be here any minute. "

He nodded and leaned against the wall outside the ICU. That's when he saw his mother sitting outside. She looked completely devastated.

'Should I talk to her??'

He was contemplating in his mind if he should talk to his mother or not. But his thoughts were suddenly interrupted when the nurse told that the donor had arrived and was coming towards the ICU.

When he turned, he was surprised. It was her, the same woman who bumped into him some time back.

Her face was filled with worry when she was rushing towards them. Liam could see the droplets of sweat forming on her forehead from running.

As soon as Lara arrived, she asked, "The patient is your.. ". The mother answered, "My daughter " and he answered, "My sister ". Both at the same time.
