1 Chapter 1: A new beginning

A new game has just been released in America it's called; "Rise of Kings." Rise of Kings is a new vrmmorpg game and features 13+ classes each in a category. The categories go from most probable to least probable to obtain. Most people end up with common or rare classes; BUT I ended up with a hidden class! Hidden classes: Classes that have not yet been discovered; they may hold the power to either change the game or utterly ruin one's gaming experience.

One day before:

But before all this how about I tell you a little bit about myself? My name is Ares, I am fifteen years old, and I get good grades in school. Today is yet another day of boring school, as usual I get on the bus full of a bunch of idiots that won't shut the hell up. As soon as I arrive in school, I see a group of kids full of the "popular" and a group of kids full of "losers." Every school that I've been to has had this.

My classes were very easy: first, I have Foreign Language class, next I have Math, after that I have English, and lastly Engineering. Engineering class was by far the best class I've had through my years of school. In that class we would build stuff and code them. But enough about school, how about I fast forward to what happened on the bus on my way back from school?

One day this kid kept laughing for no reason and I told him to shut up because I couldn't take it anymore. He stood up and asked me what I said, I yelled it this time so that everyone on the bus could hear it. The bus driver stopped because he knew what was next; the kid got up and threw the first punch. I didn't even flinch and took the hit on purpose, I smirked and got up from my seat. I looked him in the eye with bloodlust and probably made him piss himself because he was starting to move back. With one full throttle I knocked him out, it was recorded by a couple of students, and I was accused of starting the fight.

Present Day:

Man, I'm so damn tired that kid from yesterday deserved it. Oh, right I don't have school today because I have been suspended. Let's see what's new, I heard that there was a game coming out today from one of my friends. It was called... Rise of Kings I think and it's an mmorpg. In case you don't know what an mmorpg is, it is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game. I started downloading the game as soon as I saw that it was available for only $20.00!

I looked up a few videos that were made about the game and found out that once you got a class you couldn't change it or make a new account. This seemed very cool and original for the most part, I say this because games have started copying each other and stealing other's ideas. I also found out that there were a variety of weapon choices in the game, and how the stat system worked. Also, unlike most games you could not become overgeared with money rather you had to grind and become stronger through levelling up and upgrading your stats.

I have one goal in every game, and that's to beat the game and become the strongest player in order to take over the world. I have never carried out this goal because the other games were way too pay to win. I needed at least epic or higher in order to become one of the top players in the game. Once I finished reading a few more guides the game finally finished installing and I was on my way to start a new journey on a new game.

For some reason, I had a good feeling about this game and hoped that I don't get a garbage class. But before I get a class, I must complete the tutorial; from what I have seen the tutorial is quite easy and simple. All I have to do is beat a single goblin, how hard can that be?

I had a variety of choices between weapons: a sword, shield, a hammer, bow and arrow, an axe, and a spear. The choice that would best suit me is probably the spear, but I chose the shield because I wanted to challenge myself and try to activate a secret achievement. The shield had a button on it and when I pressed it, I almost cut my hand because spikes came out from the top. This didn't seem like a bad weapon, it had defense and offense.

I saw a countdown appear above my head once I pressed the button on the shield. I instantly prepared myself for battle because I was sure that the clock was counting down, it appeared as 10 above my head and stayed there. The arena was the location for the tutorial to take place. I suddenly teleported after the countdown reached zero and caught sight of a goblin.

I felt so excited to play a new game and have a chance to reach the leaderboards this time around. I already memorized the attack patterns for goblins and should be able to defeat this one easily. The goblin spotted me and rushed towards me with his club in his right hand. "You goblins will always remain stupid" I said to the goblin.

I blocked the club with my shield and pushed the button to puncture the goblin's arm rendering it useless for a couple of seconds. Right after that I pummeled the goblin to the ground with my left hand and smashed its head with my full strength. Right after I heard a ping and a window appeared before my eyes saying I levelled up. I imagined that I would get a class now, and to my expectation I did, it was a hidden class.
