Chapter 21

Jessica don't have any friends in the city. It was only her cover up. She wanted to see Blake. It will be embarrassing for her if she will say "I visited you because I miss you".

"Excuse me, prepare us a wine and two glasses. I want to have a toast with Blake before I go back to my resort." Jessica said that made Pete frowned. He doesn't like the aura of this lady. As if, she owned the place in ordering him what to do. "Didn't you hear me?" Jessica said with annoyance seeing Pete didn't move. Pete came out to get the woman's order but it's against his will. He only feared Blake will get angry if he will follow the woman.

"I'll fetch Andy at Bona Fide so after the toast, I'll go ahead." Blake said. "Oh, sure, no worries." Jessica said but deep inside her, she's furious. Hearing the name of the Andy made her blood boiled. "Why are you fetching her, is she hurt?" Jessica said praying that Andy is badly hurt. "No." Blake said. "And then why?" Jessica asked innocently. "She's my girlfriend so I'm fetching her everyday." Blake said feeling a little annoyed on Jessica's importunateness. Jessica was speechless.

Pete entered the room carrying the tray with the wine, a bucket of ice, and the glasses. That's when Jessica came to her senses. After putting down the tray, Jessica looked at Pete and ordered him to get out by pointing her lips towards the door. Pete don't want to leave his boss in the hands of this witch looking lady but when Jessica made a warning look, he came out. "Boss, be careful, I smell something fishy from that woman." He whispered hoping his boss will not be under the witch's spell.

"Ok then, I'll prepare the wine." Jessica said while looking at Blake. She's finding the right timing. Then, his phone rang. Jessica smiled and got something from her bag.

"Yes, sweetheart?" Blake said. "What time will you be here so I can tell Mason to prepare our dinner?" Andy asked. "I'll be a little late. Jessica's here." Blake said. Andy raised her eyebrow. "And why?" Andy asked. Blake smiled because he can feel jealousy from Andy's voice. "She visited a friend and decided to dropped by." Blake answered. "Oh, really?" Andy asked not believing the alibi. "Don't worry sweetheart, after the toast, I'll be going there." Blake said. "A toast!?" Andy said a little annoyed. "She wants to congratulate me because our restaurant was almost finished." Blake said. Andy kept quiet. "Andy?" Blake said. "Don't worry, it's only a toast, nothing more, nothing less." Blake continued. "Ok." Andy said and ended the line. Blake scratched his head. "A long explaining will come later." He said to himself smiling.

"Who was that?" Jessica asked. "Andy." Blake answered. "Oh, let's have the toast so you can leave immediately." Jessica said giving the wine to Blake. "For the success of my resort and your restaurant." Jessica said. Their glasses clinked and drank their wines. Blake didn't see the wicked smile on Jessica's face.

Andy felt something's wrong after hearing that Jessica is with Blake. Her woman's instinct told her that Jessica was up to no good. From their vacation before, she saw how Jessica deliberately offered herself to Blake but the latter, of course, didn't gave attention.

Andy's moving forward and backward in her office. "I will go." Andy said, came out from her office and rode her Tomahawk.

Blake was organizing his table when suddenly he felt dizzy. Jessica smiled. She approached Blake. "Are you ok?" Jessica said. "Yeah, a little dizzy but I'm ok." Blake answered. "You sit first, maybe, it's the effect of the wine." Jessica said guiding Blake on the couch. As Blake was walking towards the couch, he became more dizzy. He almost fell from the floor but Jessica was able to help him. Because his world was spinning, he decided to lay in his couch and close his eyes. Jessica approached her. "Sleep well, baby. When you wake up, you're mine." Jessica said. Blake slowly felt heaviness in his eyes and fell asleep. He wasn't able to understand what Jessica have said.

Jessica looked at Blake. She touched Blake's face as if she were memorizing every details of him. "Why can't you love me?" Jessica said. "I'm willing to give you my body and soul. Why can't you give me yours? I've longed for you, I've desired you, I've wanted you to be part of my life. Why?"

Jessica's tears fell but wiped it immediately.

She smiled. "This is the day I've been waiting for. You and I. Only us." Jessica said.

Andy arrived at Pofta Buna. Pete saw her and hurriedly move towards her. "Ma'am, there's a witch inside Boss' room." Pete said. Without saying a word, she quickly walked towards Blake's office. She slammed the door and there she saw Blake lying in the couch while Jessica was starting to undress him. "Don't you dare touch Blake! You'll regret it for the rest of your life!" Andy said that made Jessica froze. Andy, in a snap, held Jessica's hair and pushed her aside. "Sweetheart, wake up." Andy said tapping Blake's face but the latter didn't respond. "What did you do to him?" Andy said shouting. Jessica felt fear on hearing Andy's voice. "Pete, call an ambulance!" Andy said to Pete who was standing beside the door. Pete, even shocked, managed to get outside and called the ambulance. "And for you, get lost, while I can still stop myself from stragulating you. Don't dare to show your face to me and even to Blake because once you do, I'll do everything to get rid of you!"

Andy said angrily that made Jessica came out.

Jessica was so afraid seeing Andy. She was a brave girl. She can handle anyone but when she saw Andy's eyes, she felt terrified. As if, she was seeing a demoness' eyes.

The ambulance arrived. Andy was really worried with Blake. From the moment Jessica left, she started to wake up Blake but the latter didn't have any response. The ambulance crew begun checking Blake's vitals. They put an oxygen in him and brought him inside the ambulance and they left.

Andy was crying inside the ambulance. "Sweetheart, please be ok." Andy said holding Blake's hands.
