16 Jayden informs his brother, Aiden, about his marriage

Jayden sat next to his brother without saying a word. When Jayden entered the room, all the anger and frustration which Aiden had before disappeared. Just looking at his brother Jayden's face, Aiden realized that without him he would not have survived until now.

When the car accident happened and broke his family completely, all he had held on to was his brother's hand. They were just seven years old and he was almost hanging on to his life with great difficulty.

Aiden pushed his brother out of the car first and then threw his little sister out before the car rolled down the hill. Jayden picked his sister and made her lie down on a grass patch before rushing towards the car. He pulled Aiden out of the car but before they could even reach for the front door, the gas leaked and spread the fire.

It was hot everywhere and when they saw a stream nearby, they ran towards it. Jayden asked his brother to remove his shirt and dip it in the water. Both of them ran ten times back and forth to bring the water using their shirt and tried to hit the car with that. But every time they went to the stream and came back, the fire spread rapidly.

Whatever they tried to do did not help much, Aiden picked some mud and threw it on the fire but it still did not help. They were just small kids, and after going to the stream back and forth, they felt tired. But that did not stop them! when they tried to go once more to the stream to fetch some water, they heard a blast.

The car burst into flames and they saw their parents getting burnt in front of their eyes. They both squatted on the ground and bawled their eyes out. They didn't even have any strength to walk anymore.

Just a few minutes ago, they were all laughing happily and planning how to spend their weekend at that famous resort. Their dad just received an annual bonus and bought them all the toys which they wanted; while their mom got a promotion and she also received an all-inclusive free two-day stay with family in that resort from her teammates to celebrate her victory with her family.

They were all hopping up and down in joy, especially their sister Denee. She had a long list of plans and when she spoke in her baby language, they both used to tease her and made fun of her.

Their dad who was always silent would speak up for his daughter the next second and even make them do squatting as a punishment. If they try to escape, he would chase and catch them. Until they did what they were told to do, he would never show them any mercy!

But after looking at her brother's suffering, Denee would run near their father and kiss him and order him to not trouble her brothers. Their mother would just sit on the sofa and watch the drama. She would just smile and would never interfere even if they begged for her help.

She would just wink at them and say in the end that she was well entertained for today and would like to see their show tomorrow!

When they came up the hill to ask for help, Jayden went to pick his sister. But the spot which his sister was lying was empty except for her bracelet which his dad bought only for her from his bonus. They searched the whole area around but could not even find a trace of her.

When they hurried to check the main road, a car suddenly appeared in their vision and made them blind. A man got down from the car and looked at the kids who looked like they just escaped from an accident.

He looked at them and then at the burning car. As he was currently hiding from the radar, she used his contacts to inform the cops about the accident and he took the boys with him.

He took them to his underground palace and made sure to hide them well. He treated their wounds and kept informing them about the progress of the accident. Finally how it got closed as the driver was drunk and drove his wife along with him down the hill to death.

Aiden jumped up and tried to rush out of the room to seek justice for his parents. Mike, the man who helped them, tried to hold him down and threw him on the bed.

Jayden rushed forward and hugged his brother trying to calm him down.

"You know, Jayden, how our parents died! And you also know our dad never drinks. How could they decide and close the case just like that? We also could not find our sister, Denee!" Aiden shouted and kicked his legs on the bed.

"I could not find anything much, but I know one thing for sure, someone intentionally tried to cover this whole thing secretly and he is no ordinary man. I will try to find out who he is but do not have high hopes on that. Even though my dad is one of the most powerful people in the underworld for a long time, I am not. I don't even qualify to even do a small junior mission. But if you can prove and become strong, then it would be easy to find out what exactly happened to your family. Only if my father is convinced that you can take his position and build an even greater empire than his, then..." Mike left the room with his unfinished sentence to let the little guys decide.

Mike just wanted to write literature and make a name in that industry. He was never interested in all these underworld work. But his father was very strict and always sent him on missions. But this time when he couldn't even succeed a simple job of stealing a cat and he failed in his mission more badly than any newbie, his father Frank lost all his hope on him.

So he insisted him to find an alternative, strong-willed person on his behalf and then just get lost. Thankfully he found not one but two kids who looked stronger and smarter than him.

He informed his father about their hiding place and escaped to an island that his father owned. His father immediately sent his guys to bring those two before him. When he saw Jayden, even though both the kids looked alike, he saw a spark in him and wanted him to train.

But as Jayden denied, Aiden just jumped forward and wanted to join them. Jayden tried to stop him as he thought it involved high risk and they never once were in such an environment.

But he couldn't convince Aiden how much ever he tried to, so he let him be! Frank was happier with Aiden's performance at such a young age and even called his useless son, Mike to praise him and even promised to give him a monthly allowance.

But Mike rejected the allowance and instead took a promise from his father to send them to schools and let them study until they wished too…

Frank kept his promise but at the same time, Aiden still had to do his missions as well. At that time Jayden would step in and help him with his homework. As they grew a little older, Aiden couldn't continue both at the same time, so once he graduated from college he stopped his education and took over Frank's work.

As Frank was getting on his age, he wanted to spend some time alone. He left everything to both of them and left the place.

When Frank took Aiden into his gang, Aiden took a promise from him saying that Jayden would never be associated with any activities, and for the whole of the underworld, only Aiden exists.

So no one other than the old team who worked for Frank knew about Jayden's existence. And also to make sure it remained a secret, they always wore the same dress. If Aiden is present in one place, Jayden would hide and vice versa.

But there were times when Aiden's team used to get confused when they would have just left and then he would suddenly appear from inside. Even though they had their doubts, they would never question their boss as who knows what punishment was awaited for them after that.

When Aiden remembered all these, he felt at least they were lucky to have each other but their sister… Even after trying to search for her for a long time, there was still no good news. Every lead went to a dead end and the only option left is for him to marry Jennifer, as he recently got a piece of news that Dexter was involved in covering their parent's death.

"Jennifer…."Aiden just started to say something when he was suddenly stopped by Jayden.

"I married Jennifer today!" Jayden said with his heart almost in his hands.

Aiden forgot to even speak for a minute. He did not know why but he felt slightly relieved and he surely was not even aware of this.

"Good...Good… I want you to go and meet her often. Try to build a good relationship with their family and find out what happened. This is our only way to find our sister, Denee…"Aiden patted his back.

As Jayden left, Aiden's reaction changed as he found himself completely useless just like what Dexter called him. His aim and goal got distracted when he met Elina. He knows he was distracted during the past couple of days and only his brother stayed on his correct path.

He felt defeated and took an oath to never get distracted. He must forget about her, as it was a mistake at his end and instead of correcting it, he just took many more wrong steps.
