"Mom,mom I just received a letter from the cities renowned school to start schooling there I am very happy but a little sad and worried"I said.
"Don't worry my son,if it is about the talent book I promise to get you one by next two years,she responded."you know after your father lost his job,I am taking care of the family now.
"Ok but two years is really a long time"I said."By then I will be dead and you will have to bury your only son.
Iwalk of the kitchen to the dining room.I saw my father watching television and eating.
"Good morning dad"I said before sitting down with him.
"How many times do I have to tell you, you should start to work and forget about talents.you are wasting your time my son"he said.
"Don't worry dad I got admission to start schooling in the cities renowned school.As I said that I saw a smile on his face but it quickly died up.
"But son we don't have money to pay for anything in that school.The bills are too high"He spoke.
"Don't worry dad I got a scholarship.You know I don't have any talent but am good at Mathematics,Physics, Biology and even I have a good mental state to be the supervisor for any work and don't forget about my technics".
You know that that school is big so when you go,please study hard and come take care of the family ok son".As he said this i sa another smile on and stood and went to the kitchen.
I sat there watching television alone.
Why does my father always do that, anytime I decide to watch television with him,he will walk away"I sat there thinking about it.Ok let me eat dinner for tomorrow is my big day.
As I was changing the channels.i stopped at my favorite channel to see what is going on but suddenly I froze.The station has never broadcast anything about international news and even local government news.And withel this time there is a war about to happen.
"Mom,Dad come and have a look at this.
"What is going on darling....."Before she could finish her sentence she saw what is going on on the tevision.what! a war in the middle of summer and they want our Son's to go to the big school"she started say what is on the television.
"No a war with the beast kingdom is unwon.tou can't win a war in this state.and they want our Son's who are 18 years this year to attend the school.He started shouting.
He asked"son where do d you say you got admission at"
I responded frightened"A....aaavaast inten...ational sch...ool.I couldn't even get the words out.
"What the same school,I know it that is why they gave you the scholarship.
"Don't worry honey.if you stress yourself you will get sick.ok!"mom told dad.
Now I sat down reading the headline "ALL CHILDREN 18 THIS YEAR ATTENDING COLLEGE WILL BE ADMITTED FREELY TO BE TRAINED IN YOUR TALENTS.YOU WILL BE GIVEN TALENT BOOK TO LEARN AND PRACTICE TO FIGHT AGAINST THE BEAST KINGDOM.THANK YOU"It said and then they were off. ...................
After the news on tv,my father and mother got into their room and I could hear what is going on l.My mother doesn't want me to go but my father say's it is best,so that I can get a talent to protect myself from danger in the future.
I murmured to myself"Dad you are right I will get stronger by the first semester (first year).
After some hours of talking or quarreling they got out of the room and came to my room.
Knock! knock!Son are you asleep yet.
I responded"no you can come in"
When they entered my father stood there before asking me "son do you still want to go" .The question took me aback for some time before I responded
"yes father,and I will become strong to even protect you from any danger that occurs.
"Ok son we will let you go but if you don't like it you can come back and we are not allowed to visit except school visit month( one month in a year)".
Once they left I say there either feeling happy or sad.
The next early morning I packed my bags with the help of my mother who wish I didn't have to go.The car came in the morning and as I was going my mother gave me a wave of hands.
The car took off after waiting for more people and right now we are only about 50 minutes before we get there.
"Why am I so nervous.is it because I have never traveled far from my parents or because of the school"I started thinking about which talent to choose,or maybe they may give us whatever they like but we are going to fight against one of the strongest foes in history.
