3 chapter 3

~Ace's point of view~

It took me ten minutes to get to Delta's house. I knocked on his door and 2 minutes later, he opened the door with a shocked face.

"Ace? What are you doing here man!" He said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Hey delta, I wanted to see how you were doing,since we haven't seen each other since you left for college." I told him as we pulled away for each other.

"Yeah, that was a while ago. Anyways come on in." He welcomed me inside. "Thanks dude." I said walking though the door.

We walked into his living room and we sat down. He sat on his chair, and I sat on the couch. It was really quiet. Until he spoke up.

"So how have you been?" He asked. "Well I have been pretty good. Ally is definitely keeping me busy." I said.

"Oh how is ally? I can't remember what grade she is in." He said.

"She's doing really well, especially since she is in 3rd grade. Man I remember 3rd grade, it was a year filled with lots of events."

Delta laughed.

"Yeah it was a really long year. Jeez it seems it has been years since then but I can remember it like it was yesterday." He sighed. "Plus everything was a lot easier and more fun back then.

"I totally agree with you. I mean I didn't have to deal with my wolf side." I put my head on my hands and sighed.

"Wait- why did you wake up this early just to come over here?" He asked curiously.

"Well...." I continued to explain why and what has been happening.

"Wait so your telling me that your wolf has been calm for years but this morning after you heard that scream, he's acting up?"

"Yup that's exactly what I'm saying." I said to him.

"Well I don't know what to say to you dude." He said

I sighed. "I thought so, I mean I've never experienced what I did this morning. It was so different and i wasn't expecting it." I said putting my head on the back of the couch.

"Yeah that sounds really odd. Especially since he's been calm for years, then he just flairs up. It makes no sense." He said

'Damn it, he's thinking way to hard on this. I need to be careful, I can't have him sticking his nose into my problems.' I thought to myself.

"Hey, don't think about it too much. It'll be fine, I'll deal with it." I said.

He looked at me with his worried expression.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Yeah I'll handle it." I said to him even though, I knew I couldn't handle it just yet.

I lied to him because I know him all too well. He always overthinks everything, and then he starts to get stressed out. So I will keep this to myself until I know more about the situation.

"Anyways, I'm gonna get going. I don't want ally home alone any longer than she has to." I said to him.

"Ok dude. Thanks for stopping by." He said putting his fist out.

We fist bump, and then we said our goodbyes. Then I left as soon as I turned on some music.

It was only 5:30 am....
