1 Prologue

A blinding light flashes inside a wooden shack in the middle of a wilderness and escapes through the crevices of the wooden wall, windows, and even the roof. Beast and people were intrigued by this but lost interest just the same. As the light fades slowly, five figures inside the room stare at an orb that hovers above the granite table, speechless.

"We finally did it!"

An exclamation of disbelief from one of the craftsman broke the silence of the others. Though only one of them voiced their thoughts, their feelings are mutual.

They have worked so hard to collect the necessary material to complete this project and failing many attempts, costing time and precious resource, finally seeing the fruit of their labor, they felt relief and bitterness. All five of them spent almost three months gathering fifty sets of the ingredients, but out of twenty-five attempts, only one was a success.

While they are wallowing in this melancholy, the sound of the system is heard inside the building.

[System Prompt: You are the first to successfully craft a Legendary orb. Would you like to give it a name?<Yes><No>]

The group discussed what name should be given to this precious creation, for about an hour, and finally agreed on the name 'Leeches Tears.' It wasn't because most of the materials we're gathered from the oversized blood-sucking leeches, or the Undead wizard 'Leech.' but because being an aid in the raids they barely contribute to the teams that they assist.

[System Prompt: A collaboration between Five grandmaster craftsman has been detected. The item will be inscribed with the individual's insignia. <Agree><Cancel>]

The group agreed to this condition, and one-by-on. They placed their mark on the orb and finally received their ultimate reward.

[Rewards:

Craft proficiency: +100

Gold Coins: 10,000/5

Exp: 1M/5

Item(s): 5 Scribes Quill]

Craftsmen's proficiency points are hard to earn especially at the level of grandmaster, where epic and fragmented legendary standards are the bare minima to gain proficiency. The gold reward might seem like a large number for an ordinary player but for these people, it is minuscule compared to the cost of its creation. On the other hand, the grandmasters were stunned to see the last "Reward" on the list.

[Scribes Quill (Unique)

A quill is gifted to commemorate the advance of a craftsman and their hardship.

User Bound, Can Not Be Traded, Can Not Be Destroyed]

"Wow! With this, we can do the hardest part of crafting the orb with ease."

"Yeah. Look at the MP regen. with that my mana will be generated by 2% per second. How sick is that!"

"That's nothing really against the luck and success rate that it offers."

Appreciation was fired one after another, almost overshadowing the sole reason that they are gathered today in their hidden workshop.

"Shal we continue crafting?" The Wizard in the group asked.

"How many more can we make?" asked the Oracle.

"I think if we use the quill for the magic circles, we should be able to make one for each of us." responded the Tamer.

"Don't you think we should experiment on the other handicrafts first, to see if the quill will work as we expect it to?" replied the Druid.

"A storage orb should be fine since the magic circles used in the design are the same. Right?" questioned the Priest.

Thus the group continued their endeavor, constructing a bunch of 'Storage Orbs' one after another.

With the same number of raw materials, the process has a 75% chance to yield small storage, 20% for medium storage, and 5% for large storage.

first, failed

Second, failed

Third, success (Small storage).

...

Hundred fiftieths, success (Large storage)

Eating away hundreds of sets of their supplies, the team succeeded to produce forty-five small storage with fifty slots, eighteen medium storage with a hundred slots, and five large storage with two hundred fifty slots. This proves that using the quill to cast the magic circles would grant them a significant success rate.

"Let's move on to the 'Leeches Tears'!" the priest suggested.

"How many do you think will we succeed to make?" the Druid asked the Oracle.

"It's not the question of how many we could produce, but how good the products will be." the Oracle responded.

Time flew by as the craftsmen continued to create the game braking orbs.

One, success

Two, success

...

Tenth, success

At the tenth ball that was made, the last of their supply ran out. The started appraising the spheres and sorting them out with their standards.

The friends managed to craft five other fragmented-legendary, four legendary, and one unique Orb. With the difference of the stats varying but the skills are the same.

As for the unique weapon went to the Oracle. No one has a say to the matter since the Orb happens to be a Class-specific weapon.
