14 Hunting in the Garden

"Hey!" VerBoss said when he saw that SayaShin had logged in.

"Yoh!... How long have you been online?"- SayaShin

"About 20 minutes before you." -GurinBare

"What time will Sister becoming?"-AleyaNala said referring to the Miko.

"Maybe about 2-4 hours, she didn't get to have her daily Nap count."-SayaShin

"What are you guys gonna do? Are you going to wait here or get some offensive skills?"-Shapeless

"Nah... I'm gonna search for firewood, for my alchemy and blacksmith quest, I'll beep you guys later. Besides, I really want to try the magicians set. Hehe..."-SayaShin

"Since our party was dissolved earlier, let's make one later, do your own things until Mizarin gets online. Go finish your Sub-Class designs so that when we return to the encampment we can officially enter the main city." after AleyaNalas instruction the group dispersed, turning into white light. Teleporting to their destinations.

[Your Friend Mizarin Have Logged In]

It has been three hours since the group dispersed when finally Izen logged back into the game. Everyone stopped what they were doing, sending a message to her asking if what her plan will be. To which she responds: "Going to get the Herbalist Gloves with Saya."

After receiving this message, the team stopped what they were doing, and retrieved the Portal Orb and teleporting in front of the library in the Magic Academy.

The first to arrive after SayaShin was AleyaNala, followed by VerBoss, GurinBare, and Shapeless respectively.

"I'll go with you. I need something from the Herbalists collection." Said AleyaNala

The boys on the other hand just wanted to accompany the beautiful lady on her quest.

Taking out their Portal Orbs and setting the coordinates for the Druid's Garden, they transported to the green forest with a much lesser amount of MP consumed than when they were doing it alone, and this was even with some extra companion.

A green scenery, filled with flowers, trees, shrubs, beautiful gem-studded people, and treehouses greeted Izen on her wake, A stone Henge-like structure circled a solitary dryad, standing serenely in the middle, overlooking the bustling newbies.

When the group approached the dryad, she looked at them curiously, waiting for the group to start a conversation.

"Great Vates we have brought a friend who wishes to be an Herbalist. Would you be willing to accept another apprentice?" said AleyaNala, beckoning for Mizarin to approach.

"To think that you would travel so far just to meet me, young one. You have something for me young Jiagu?" The dryad said, puzzling the group of what the herbalist meant.

Izen, on the other hand, knows what the dryad meant, She prepared for this before setting off of her quest to obtain the Gloves. Taking out a flower with petals of a different color, surrendering it to the dryad.

[System: You brought a Spirit flower to the Dryad, Anna. ]

"Young Jiagu, you have brought me a flower cherished by spirits. With this, my work will lighten even of just a little." -Anna

"If you have more of this. I would be more than willing to trade."-Anna

[System: You have unlocked the special exchange system with the Herbalist Anna.

Barter with the items that pique her interest to that which interests you. (Price Varies with Item Rarity)]

Izen picked up these flowers when she was at the holly land. it was located at the garden dungeon behind the Shamans Shrine, these flowers have no particular use other than being collected for the alchemist's apprenticeship at the current state of the game, but for an herbalist, the spirit flower was one of the most important ingredients used by grandmasters. There is, of course, a limitation, the flowers can only be collected in the town of beginnings and can only be picked by First-tier players or newbies, allowing starting players to gain fortune and catch up, but this information was only uncovered a year later in the game when most lifestyle players have moved on to the kingdoms and empire.

Scanning the gift she received. She was speechless when the function. She was aiming for was sealed, thus she asked the other: "Guys... how did you unseal the Firm Grasp Skill?"

"Ohh... Just become an Herbalist Apprentice, the skill will be unsealed by Anna herself."-SayaShin

"Try purchasing some of her Products, That's how we did it."-GurinBare

"Okay... I'll try it." -Mizarin

Izen held on her, more or less 300 stems of the spirit flowers that she picked up for her alchemist quest. But looking at the items on the shelves, some items attracted her attention. First was a [Black Pearl], an item bartered to the herbalist in exchange for a high-class healing potion (Cost:1 Spirit Flowers; 10 Purple Vials). The second was an Oracle Orb; Light Orb, as the name suggests an orb that naturally emits light (Cost: 70 Spirit Flowers.).The third was a Tribute Sphere; a stat less orb with skill engraved in it, fusible to a weapon (Cost:100 Flowers).

She bought all four items, including the Portal Orb, and the items she found interesting, fortunately, she had picked up enough flowers to trade with.

"Young Jiagu, thank you for bringing these flowers from afar. Here, accept my blessings, if you wish you can become my apprentice."

[System: You have received the Blessing of the Herbalist Anna.

You are now officially recognized as Herbalists.]

[System: You have received the Herbalist Guide Book.]

[Grimoire Detected a guide book. Grimoire devoured the guide book.]

[System: You have unsealed the Herbalist's Glove Skill; Firm Grasp.]

Izen opened her inventory, scanning for the items that she purchased. By equipping the Herbalist's Gloves to the garment section of her inventory, the left-hand weapon slot was freed and now could accommodate another weapon. With the special weapon slot provided by her Belt, she has a total of four weapons, Twin Iron Fan that she is required to hold, the magic book that now dangles at her side, when used would hover in-front or beside her, lastly the Light orb that would guide or follow her around. She had to stop herself from equipping the items right in front of the crowd as she marveled at the thought of having multiple weapons, and the boost of generating 1.5 MP and Hp per second.

"I'm going to hunt in the wolves garden with me!" -Mizarin

"Let's go. I need to collect some fangs from the wolves."- AleyaNala

"Okay let's all go level up our Gloves."-GurinBare

With this reminder from GurinBare, the group fed their EXP to the Gloves, aside from Mizarin, the other equipment reached level 12, while their level dropped to zero. Mizarins Gloves, on the other hand, reached level 6.

The group entered the Wolves Garden, after a brief exchange with the Naiad, started farming for Purple Vials from the Wolf's Bane that was scattered around, the collection was made easy with the skills and spells that they acquired from the library. Detecting the location of the flowerbeds, examining for energy-rich flowers, collecting the Aura, the work was even made easier by the amplification from the Herbalist Gloves.

After an hour of arduous flower picking, the group came across their first wolf pack, by this time they had reached level five from the continuous use of searching, collecting, enhancing and compounding work that they did.

"Wolf pack!"-Shapeless

With this shout the Druid's, aside from SayaShin, transformed into wolves, Two Two-meter tall with silver fur, one with feral features in Jet Black fur, and one with cute deceiving features in Brownish color. This piqued the interest of Mizarin, looking at Sai, thinking; 'What kind of wolf would this friend of mine transform in to.'

Sensing his best friend's eye filled with intent. He casually said: "I can't transform into a wolf. I'm incompatible with wolf transformation now. Not even the Dryad would give me a Wolf Spirit Transformation skill."

This petrified Izen, what kind of Druid could not transform into a wolf! she thought to herself.

The two silver wolves pounced at the approaching wolves, bringing chaos to the wolves formation, stomping, chomping, and swiping at the pups, while the other smaller ones chased and protected the two supporting members.

"Awooooo~~~" one of the wounded wolves called for help. This howling was actually a skill called [Danger Calling], a skill lesser wolves have, summoning their nearby brethren to assist them. But in this case, it is a call to the slaughterhouse.

One group was eliminated...

Two companies perished...

Three congregations massacred...

They were now surrounded with more than 8 packs of wolves, less than a hundred enemies were biding their time. EXP was like rain continuously pouring, and the Herbalist gloves continued to grow. Items dropping one after another, coins littered the ground, and yet the wave of the beast has yet to seize.

This was only possible because of the two assists that were in the center of the formation, around them were four totems of dedicated for protection, preventing most of the wolves from breaching the defense, while the Transformed Druids were hunting with continuous violence, wounds and status afflictions were cured and prevented by the two sheltered characters. Working on perfect sync with each other white lite was flying here, a green light was heading there. Buffs of strength, speed, power, were cast one after another.

If there are any who watch this. They would likely report the team for having the ability to continuously cast magic without exhausting their mana reserve. The wolf transformation was understandable because as long as the user did not cancel the transformation they could continue to fight, but the downside is that they could not use any items in this state. That is where the Druids staff comes in handy, with the characteristics to be used as a totem for healing or defense, merely supplying mana would be the job of the Druid, and in the wolf form, where cunning intuition and brute strength is all that matters, they would not need to waste mana on other spells, or rather at this stage of the game, there is no suitable skill for the transformed Druids to use.

For the case of the two supporting members, their mana counts were way higher than the others, with the collection of equipment that grants them higher mana regeneration rate of 1.5-2% per second, alternating on casting buffs, healing spells, and de-buffs was child's play, resting for about ten seconds would bring them back to the game.

As for the items that littered the ground, as long as the team doesn't leave the dungeon, the items wouldn't disappear, unlike if the items were left on the field that would be lost after an hour of not being collected, and once the item disappeared, it would no longer be available, to know the terror of this is that when a Legendary weapon was left lying on the ground for too long, the system will terminate this information, and if this information was terminated it will no longer be available for acquisition, meaning if the item is one of a kind, it will be lost forever. Unless the developers decide to reintegrate it into the game.

The groups' tempo was slowly getting sluggish, after two hours of grinding these wolves, the monotonous movements were starting to get to them. Slowly getting rid of the packs that came one after another, they were able to elevate the Herbalist's Gloves to level 18, keeping their level in under 8.

When they finally filled the last wolf that came seeking death, the team finally got to rest. Collecting the scattered items and equipment was easy. Individuals were originally required to bend and collect with their own hand, but not this bunch. Casting spells to collect one after another, in less than 10 minutes the field of litters was cleared, and a field of green land was revealed, no remnant of dead monsters was left.

"Awoooo~~~" a wolf's howl was heard, this was not the norm call that the group got accustomed to. It was the call that the Druids once fled from. This was accompanied by ground shaking and a piercing chill.

[System: with the death of its brethren, Lycan, the Wolves leader has woken.]
