shattered.....

(Abigail's POV)

I woke up to hear the most heart breaking news of my life that Daddy was going to get married to another woman because mommy didn't give birth to a male child.Though,i actually overheard when they were talking about it in their room and mom was really upset...

I heard her crying in the room and it broke my heart and i had to make up my mind to make sure I'd wipe every tear that came out of her eyes by working hard and becoming successful in the future..

I quickly got to my room to get ready to go to the little kiosk mummy haf with my three sisters Anna,Lucy and Belle.With me being the first born,Anna second.....

Anna and I only gave our selves a year gap of age she was 11 while i was 12 making us look pretty identical

After breakfast i was ready to go to the small shop with her....mummy sells hair materials like a hair comb,hair brush and the likes with soda drinks all combined just to make profits...when mummy came out of the room she was looking shattered nd heartbroken i had to tell her to rest at home that i would assist her with the shop and she was a littek bit cheered up

"oh my daughter has become a fine young lady" she said with tears in her eyes

"mummy please don't cry any longer,i promise to work harder and never make you disappointed in me "i said

"i know you won't"

With that mummy cheered up nd handed me over,the key to the shop

(Authors POV)

A while later at the shop....

"Mum,i thought i said you could rest at home what are you doing here"

"Oh no Abi,you know i couldn't help it leaving only you to manage this shop alone..."

"Mummm, I'm a big girl now you don't have to treat me like this"she pouted

"Alright alright baby just this once okay? Mama wouldn't do that again is that okay?"

"Okay"Abigail replied

While selling some items a call came in from our home town that was a small village in which Agatha the mother of Abigail originally lived in

"Agatha your husband's mistress is pregnant and is even almost due for birth!!!!"that was the most earth shattering news she could have received...Abigail was already feeling like crying

Because as little as she was she had to start facing and going through traumatic experiences

"No wonder he wanted to get married to her qiickly"Agatha exclaimed while crying and Abigail was there trying to comfort her

Agatha somehow managed to control her tears because she wanted to be strong for her daughters and also wanted to avoid attracting any crowd because it would be shameful for the crowd to hear such story

After the day's work Abi nd her mother went back home....

Nd the moment she opened the door to the house(doors creaked)

(Shuffling noises)

She found her father packing his load

"To where" Abi's mother shouted....
