Chapter 7: Waiting for your message

I could not stop turning around in bed just thinking of him,' wait a minute I can at least send him a message on the pretext that I have reached my hostel safe right' I quickly texted him on WeChat telling him I had already arrived safe and also asking him if he had reached in his hostel.

I did not want to miss his reply and so I could not risk getting sleepy so I opened the web and went on about checking the latest entertainment news.

I didn't know how I fell asleep but I only found myself woken up by my alarm at four.

My plane was departing at exactly 8:00 am. So I had only three hours of preparation to get to the airport.

I turned the bed into a mess looking for my phone only to find it under my pillow. I quickly opened weChat only to find out that there was no notification from Wen lin. 'well he must be tired from the party yesterday, yeah he is probably tired and he mentioned to me that he would be traveling at seven am sure when he arrives he will surely communicate with me.'

No matter how disappointed I was I still had a little ray of hope. I had already packed my stuff earlier and so I had nothing much, taking a shower and going to the airport. Since It was too early I decided on going back to sleep. I tried several times but could not fall asleep. I could not stop thinking about him, all the excitement of going home had just been brushed off by him.

I didn't realize how much time I had wasted daydreaming only to find out it was already 6:30 am. I quickly got into the shower, put on a short pink dress and sneakers and I was good to go. I took my side bag and suitcase. I stood at the gate of the school waiting for a car, memories flashing of the few years I had spent there. It had been my home for the four years I was there.
