6 A Misunderstanding

"What's gotten into you?" The first prince asked giving the second princess an unimpressed look.

"I believe that I have nothing to talk with you about, nor do I want to waste my time. So if you may. I will excuse myself now, elder brother the crown imperial prince." Ye Beom hinted with sarcasm as she playfully bowed to him and faked a smile.

Such a braggart. Prince Eunhyun thought once again. "Very well then, you are excused." Then the prince smirked.

This guy?! I surely am not going to be in good terms with him! Ye Beom thought as she pictured out that the nerves on her head are about to pop any time soon. Then she huffed.

She crosses her arms across her chest and shouted; "You really don't have to say that though! Well then out of the way!" Then she brushed her brother as she passed through that caused him to be unbalanced.

Just as when her brother was to fall over, the first prince grab on to her sleeves, thinking that he won't stumble. But both of them ended up stumbling on the ground.

The prince Eunhyun was completely laying on the ground while gripping on princess Ye Beom's sleeve. While the princess is just sitting on the ground dumbfounded. It was like there is a crow passing by on her head...

The assistant court ladies of princess started murmuring: "Are they really our crown prince and second princess?" Said the first one

"I... don't know too." Added by the second assistant court lady.

"Hey did you serve the mistress a spoiled food?" Blamed the third lady.

"Of course I did not!" Retorted the first one.

Princess Ye Beom's face turned dark and thought; How humiliating...

While the assistant court ladies are wondering with the sudden change of behavior of their tyranness mistress, the first prince and the second princess are quarelling to their hearts content where you can see rocks flying all over the places.

This asshole! Grrrr.... Princess Ye Beom murderously thought of ripping prince Eunhyun apart.

This brat! This ferocious brat!! The first prince was flaming with anger as he thinks the same manner with princess Ye Beom.

"Ahh!! I give up! I'm tired!" Ye Beom shouted as bends down and places her hand in her knees.

I'm too tired to move at all. Goodness heavens. She thought.

"That's what you get for being such a braggart. Pulling out a fight when you know to yourself you have a VERY LOW stamina." The crown prince emphasizes.

I swear. I will punch you right in the face someday. No, sooner or later. Evil laughs. Ye Beom thought.

A moment of silence shut the prince and the princess. Because of it, the princess decided to keep on going before she lose her patience. The princess gave the assistant court ladies a death glare.

"You are all brave enough to talk about me in front of me and the crown prince." Ye Beom threatened. Then the assistant court ladies flinched. She then continued to walk without thinking of where she is going next.

"You have changed Ye Beom." The first prince mumbled, but the second princess heard it clear.

The second princess looks back at him and replied; "I did not, crown prince." Then she bowed with her full respect.

"Are you still upset with what happen 2 years ago?" Prince Eunhyun said with a worried tone.

Suddenly, Ye Beom's mood turned gloom as if a thick black smoke was surrounding her.

"Yes elder brother. I still am upset with what happened 2 years ago." Ye Beom agreed. She looked up at him and gave him the most broken expression. As if her tears will roll down on her face any second. But deep inside Ye Beom's mind was;

Waaah!! I'm deeply sorry! I am so sorry! It was my fault that you and your sister had a misunderstanding!!

Well it just so happened that I thought it would look great if one of her sibling looks like have an intent of killing her. Ahhh what do I do? My conscience!

"Look! Ye Beom listen to me!" The prince paused and looked at the second princess's assistant ladies.

"You may leave." Princess Ye Beom ordered which they followed immediately. She kept on looking in the ground until the prince spoke up.

"I'm sorry. It was my fault. If only I was attentive it wouldn't have happened." Prince Eunhyun took the blame as he reaches for her younger sister's hand. "I'm sorry that because of my greediness you got hurt... I hope you can forgive me. I-I.. I will go now." He said before leaving.

What happened 2 years ago was a real horror. During the hunting season event at Mt. Sujin, everyone was busy. It was also the second princess's day of birth. The first prince, the second prince and the Emperor join the event. During the event the first prince came back the earliest, and along with him is his catch. 2 dears, 4 wild boars, and a mountain lion. All of the people gathered to him to congratulate him. With that said the princess came down from the audience seat, but then a two prancing mountain lions came. It was bigger than the first prince's catch. Perhaps it was the parent of the dead mountain lion.

The two mountain lions was furious and attacked everyone on their sight. The imperial soldiers rushed to protect the princess which was frozen and is on the state of shock. Everywhere there was a splatter of her people's blood.

"Don't space out there Princess Ye Beom!! Run!!" The soldier yelled. But she wasn't able to comprehend what he said.

Not too far from her another mountain lion came which has set it's eyes on her. While it was running towards her at a high speed, an arrow pierced through her right arm.

She looked at it and screamed " AH-AHHH... AHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Then when she turn her gazed to the direction of where the arrow flew from, there she saw the first prince standing. It left her in tears thinking that her elder brother has an ill intention towards her.

She cried. Then when she looked up the mountain lion was about to jump onto her as it opens its mouth showing the sharp fangs.

She shut her eyes hoping that all of this to end. She anticipated for the mountain lion to come and land her a bite. But when she opened her eyes there the first consort came. The first consort's blade plunged his sword into the mountain lion's chest.

He came... the princess thought.

Moment earlier that, the first consort also participated to the hunting event. When the first consort was about to go back along with his men, the torch was lighted and the gong was rang. His heart throb as he thought that something might have happened to the princess. Though the princess has no feeling for her, he loves her deeply. He rode his horse as they hurriedly ran back.

Back to the princess, there she saw her first consort. She was relieved. The first consort extended his hand for the princess. She took his hand and the consort helped her to stand.

"Can you walk princess?" The consort asked.

Due to shock, the princess cannot speak so as a reply she just nodded.

She stared at the elder brother with mix of hurt and hatred look.

Why? It was suppose to pierce the mountain lion. I was aiming to that beast. But.. but. Suddenly an image of Ye Beom crying out in pain flashed into his mind. He clenched his fist in anger.

"Damn it!!" He cursed. "Goddamn it!!"
