8 Chapter 2- Transported to Another World... For Just 24 Hours! Part 7

Waaahahargh!" I let out a jumble of incoherent sounds. A massive wave of light and sound hit my senses out of nowhere. I look up from where I am and notice a girl with golden-brown hair looking down at me with concern. "L-lilith?" She finally comes into my focus and something seems off. She is way taller than me. "W-what the?" I turn my head and see people sitting at the surrounding tables looking at me. "Wait this place is..." I stop talking, finally figuring out I'm back in the Inn. My cheeks turn bright red when I feel a slight ache on the back of my head. I hurriedly get up from the Inn's floor, picking up the chair and placing it back at the table. I give a nervous smile at Lilith and sit back down, trying to act as if nothing embarrassing had happened. I watch as her eyes scan over my body. I can see a tiny smile emerging from the edge of her lips. She is definitely trying to suppress the urge to laugh. "So, June welcome back." After she says that her laughter breaks through. Now this is embarrassing. I agree wholeheartedly, but to be honest her laugh is kind of cute. No, no, no, I need to get that thought process out of my head. I can't fall for one girl. And why not? Because my objective is to obtain a harem. Yeah, well as you have learned multiple time, life doesn't always work like we want it to. Well we'll just have to see about that.

After Lilith gets her laughter out, I give a little chuckle; to give a facade as to not give her the impression that I was embarrassed. "So, Lilith how long was I out." She puts her finger to her chin, trying to estimate the amount of time. "I would say around five minutes." I can't help but give an unnerving laugh. "That's insane. To me it was about a day." As I say this, I don't make I contact with her. Then, out of habit, I stare pensively at the center of the table. "Well I have always heard that the amount of time in your head is different from actual time. I believe I've heard that dreams are only seconds even though they feel like whole days. So, I guess that's why only five minutes have passed." Lilith's voice feels my ears. "June are you okay, you are talking about stuff I have never heard of before. I know you go on tangents; however, I have never heard you talk about things of uncommon knowledge." I look at her with my bright red face. "Ah... sorry about that, I guess my head is a little sore." Nice save just be sure to be more careful about knowledge from our world. Yeah I 'll definitely keep that in mind.

Lilith gets up, once I told her my head was hurting; even though it isn't. "Lilith what are you..." I don't finish my sentence because her face is inches from mine. She gazes into my eyes, entrancing me in her beauty. My cheeks become the reddest possible and when she sees that she blushes too. She backs up a tad, leans over my head, and gives me a quick kiss on my head. I can't take this anymore. My body freezes as her lips touch my messy hair. I take a big gulp, trying to calm my nerves. After her lips part from my head, I hear two very familiar voices. "Lilith you go girl!" Lilith and I quickly look over to the voice's general direction and see Seven, along with Ivory, watching this spectacle. "Yes, I agree with Seven fully, way to make a move Lilith. For a long time, I always made you out as the timid type." I turn to Lilith and see her cheeks flare up the brightest shade of red I have ever seen. "Ugh... I-it is not... w-what it looks... Like!" Lilith covers her face with her hands and slowly returns to her seat. What cliched timing, I mean didn't they go out to shop? Wasn't that a little too quick. Especially since they were trying to give Lilith enough time with you. So, this timing is way to perfect to be a coincidence. I couldn't agree more.

Ivory and Seven take their seats. With Lilith still behind her hands, Ivory asks me a question. "June how did everything go? Did you find the answers you were looking for?" This question takes me by surprise, so I don't answer right away. I take a second to process what I'm about to say, "I got most of them, however I do have a few more." Ivory nods her head, seeming satisfied by my response. "Hey Ivory, if you don't mind me asking, why are you and Seven back so soon, didn't you say you two were going shopping?" Seven looks to Ivory and Ivory back to Seven. "That is what we were planning on, but June the truth is Lilith called us back around three minutes ago." My eyes widen with shock and I look over to Lilith for answers. Lilith's hands have returned to their usual postured position, and she turns to me. "June, I called them back because something weird happened while you were living your lost memories" I lift my right eye brow in confusion, and she continues. "Around the one-and-a-half-minute mark I heard you call out for me, asking to take you out." I look at her stunned by what I am hearing. Before she can continue speaking, I put in my thought on the matter. "Yeah I remember asking you to do that, but I didn't think it would have actually reached you." Ivory and Seven lock up in disbelief. Lilith keeps her calm exterior, but deep down I can tell there is a hint of disbelief hidden.

Lilith, Ivory, and Seven look to me and then to each other. It's like they're communicating through their mind. This is weirder than I can handle, so I decide to break the awkward silence. I lean forward with my hands on the table and say, "Is it really that weird to hear someone, while they are traversing their memories through the seer?" All three of them look at me with a dumbfounded expression and simultaneously say, "Yes!" Their voices carry out through the whole establishment. Everyone stops what they are doing and look our way. This, However, does not faze them in the slightest; this does not pertain to me though. "Hey... Um... Could you three be a bit quieter... We're kind of causing a scene." As I say this, I hear a familiar accent coming our way. "Are Y'all okay over here?" I turn and see a very refined and beautiful girl. To bad, this girl has the worst possible personality. Lilith quickly returns to her reasoning self. "Sabrina, I am surprised you are able to show yourself to us, after what happened." Sabrina stops and looks down with her cheeks flustered. "Yeah... I was just, kind of wondering what the commotion was, then when I saw it was you four... I thought it was the perfect time to apologize." I sweep my eyes over her, and somehow can't find anything deceiving about her apology. What the heck is up with this development, can't we just get back to the main plot already. What do you mean, this could possibly be a future member of my harem, which means this is very crucial to the main plot. Yeah, sure. Sabrina gives a deep bow and then walks over to me. She leans into my ear, just as close as when I did the same to her. I can feel her warm breath tickling my ear. I can also feel shooting daggers coming from Lilith. "Umm... Sabrina is there something you want to tell me." I try to keep the manly tone I used on her before, but her alluring presence is too much for me to keep the facade; so, my voice cracks a little. "Nothing much, I just wanted to tell you..." She takes in a heart wrenching breath. "... What you told me back there, was really bold and hot..." Beads of sweat start to form on my forehead, while my breathing starts to increase rapidly. "So, when I get off at sundown, why don't ya stop by the kitchen for a little gift." She takes her finger and traces none sense onto my cheek and blows me a little kiss as she hastily walks back to the kitchen. I take in a monstrously loud gulp, that I was holding back the whole time she was there. I slowly turn toward Lilith and can sense the same killing intent from when they were interrogating the thugs.

Before Lilith, or Seven and Ivory for that matter, has a chance to say anything, I quickly change the topic. "So, what was so special about me being able to speak while being in the seer?" To my surprise, and most of all relief, her rage subsides. Ivory and Seven are intently watching for what Lilith is going to say next. "Well, June till this day there has never been anyone able to speak while using the power of the seer." She hangs off that for a while to let it sink in. Even though, with how new I am to this world I'm not that shocked by it. So, I'm waiting with anticipation, hopefully for the explanation of why this is. This is looking very well for my magical powers. I would not get too ahead of yourself, even though, as much as I hate to admit it, you might be right.

Lilith keeps her eyes locked with mine, like she's waiting for me to say something. But I don't have anything to add to what she's saying. I would just act shocked, and then ask her to proceed, because we are not getting anywhere with how things are going now. That's a very good suggestion. "Wow, really!? I'm the only person to do that? Holy Crap! So, why do you think this is?" I sound artificial enough to make an old lady cringe. However, the expression on Lilith's face tells me this was the right action to take. "Well June, I believe that you are still able to use magic." Deep down I feel disappointment from this explanation, since I came to this conclusion myself. I'm trying not to let it show on my face. Okay, we have two options: One- You act oblivious and say, "No way, I would have never thought of that." Two- You say, "That's what I thought too." I spend way too much time debating these two options. So, I come to option two; for the sake of not lowering myself. "Lilith, this might sound crazy, but I was thinking the same thing too." Lilith nods, not saying anything and looks deep in thought.

As she is thinking about who knows what, I remember the second thing I wanted to ask her when I returned. "Hey Lilith, I know we're trying to figure this out, but I actually had one more question to ask you." She snaps out of her trance like state and nods for me to continue. "Well it's technically two things, but I want to know why we never reunited until this chance meeting, and why I'm not able to use my innate magical powers on command?" She gives me a slight smile and is about to speak, when I notice something about her demeaner; it's the demeaner of someone who is about to tell a long story. "Wait, Lilith, before you start can you just give me the run down of everything, and not the full story." For some reason as I say this, she looks stunned. "Oh, my bad June, I always remembered you liking the entirety of a story." Hey look, there are some differences in the two of you after all. Yep, but I don't know if I should be relieved or not? "Yeah, I used to, however with age comes impatience, he-he." I end off with an awkward laugh and sit back to listen to the shortened story, with all the information I need, hopefully.

"Well June I will start with the question I can answer the easiest. The reason we have not seen each other since 'that' happened years ago, is because you were transferred to a very rural village before I had the chance to see you again. I was devastated when I heard this from my mentor, but that honestly pushed me to become the best knight I could, so when I saw you again, I would be able to protect you too. However, my dream was cut down once I made the ranks. For, I found out that not only were you moved to a rural location, in which the head wizard was the only one with knowledge of the location, you also had all your memories erased of everything before and during 'that'." She takes a quick breath, allowing me to say, "So, that's why I couldn't remember anything." This is a huge shock, not the fact that it happened, but that the Head Wizard would do such a thing to a kid. She nods her head and continues. "And to make long story short, after I heard that I would most likely never see you again, my resolve to be a knight started to digress. However, I did not have that little resolve to just give up then and there, but when the incident happened with Ivory and Seven, I decided not to be apart of such a corrupt system."

"I see..." I let what she tells me sink in for a little bit, while waiting for her to continue. "Now for your second question... I am truly sorry June, but I have no definitive answer to give about, why you are not able to use your magical powers on command." I give a reassuring smile, knowing she was probably going to say that. "However, I do have an idea that I think might be a good starting point for now. I believe, since you have had your memories erased and have not used your magical powers for eight consecutive years, I have come to a theory that you have forgotten how to use them." At this revelation I can't help but stare stupidly at Lilith. "Then how was I able to use them while I was in the seer." "Very good point; I believe that since you were deep within your mind you were able to fully grasp your magical powers." "Ah... I see." I give a big sigh and ask, "Is there any way for me to relearn how to use them?" Lilith puts her hand to her chin and says, "I think if we focus on mental training then I believe it could be possible to unlock your powers that are hidden deep within you." "Really!?" I jump out of my seat in excitement. Lilith, Ivory, and Seven move back in there chairs out of reflex. "Y-yes, but we will not be able to accomplish anything today, therefore we will start training first thing in the morning." I throw my arm up in glee. "Yessss!" Now instead of everyone in the inn looking at the three girls making a scene, I'm the one making a fool out of myself.

To my surprise when I throw my arms up the table gets thrown to the ceiling. The impact reverberates through the entire inn. Eventually the table falls back down with a loud thunk. How the hell did I just do that? My eyes are as wide as everyone else in the establishment. I sink down into my chair and stare pensively at the broken table. "Well on the bright side it looks like you can still use magic." Seven gives a bright smile, most likely trying to break the awkwardness of the situation. "Y-yeah." I'm still looking at the broken table, dumbfounded by how I did this. I mean I didn't even feel anything different when the table launched up, but somehow, I knew it was me who caused the damage. I finally decide to look up at the three girls staring down at me with puzzled faces. "So, Lilith do you have any idea on what just happened?" Lilith, Ivory, and Seven decide to take a seat. "June before I can come to any conclusions, I have a question, that you need to answer honestly." I give an awkward smile and nod my head. "When I told you that I would be able to rehabilitate you into using your magical powers again, what were you feeling." I don't have to think before I spit out my answer. "I was feeling extremely happy!" Lilith's eyes gaze down. "I see... And how where you feeling when you were in the seer; about the time you called out to me." "Umm... Lets see, well I was probably the most bored I have ever been in my life." I think I know where this is going. Really? Yes. Then can you tell me. No can do, you will figure it out soon enough. That's a load of crap, how can I know something that I don't know?

Lilith looks back up at me, locking her gaze with mine. "June, I do not think your inability to use your magic is from years of not practicing. I believe that the magic the Head Wizard used to suppress your powers and all the magic he used to screw with your head is the reason you cannot use your magic on command." "Then how do you explain what happened just now?" "Remember you did not do that on purpose, it only happened because a strong emotion brought it out. With this said I believe the only way you are able to use your magic powers are when you have a surge of strong emotions." I can't help but look stupid, by what I'm hearing. "Huh? But do you think I'll be able to control it, or will it always happen uncontrollably." "Only time will tell, however I assume we will learn soon enough." That's not too reassuring, but I guess I'll take it. Before I have a chance to put my say into it, Sabrina comes up to us with disdain in her eyes. "Y'all, what happened here?" Lilith, Ivory, and Seven give her a look of disgust. While I put my hand behind my head and give an awkward chuckle. With the body language I'm exuding, Sabrina automatically stares me down for answers. I'm trying my hardest not to fall under her pressure but can't help it. "I'm so sorry about this, I'll do anything to make up for it." This response comes out of me as natural as taking a piss. Sabrina keeps staring at me, and then a smirk appears on her perfect face. The smirk gives me an unsettling feeling, like I'm about to be in a bad predicament. "June now that ya mention it." She pauses, to capitalize on her alluring effect. "I am on break right now, and since you did break one of our tables, do you mind coming to the kitchen with me to... Help me out?" She bites down on her bottom lip, which in turn makes my cheeks turn red. This cause and effect situation brings Lilith into the conversation. "Sabrina, you would not happen to be planning something else besides work?" Lilith gives her the same deadly stare as she has done numerous times. Sabrina gives her the same stare back. "Of course not, Lilith, ever since June gave me that little talk, I've changed my ways." Sabrina ends off by licking her lips and giving me a seductive wink. My cheeks turn a deeper shade of red. "I do not buy it for a second." Lilith crosses her arms and says, "June is not going with you." Sabrina responds with a sarcastic laugh and says, "I don't remember you owning him, last time I checked he was his own master." Lilith's cheeks turn a tinge redder from the remark, and she starts to lose her composure. "I-I mean I g-guess..." She makes this sentence barely audible to hear. "What's that? Ah... Hehe, that is what I thought, so if you'll excuse us." Sabrina forcibly takes my arm into hers and drags me into the deepest part of the kitchen. Before I enter the kitchen, I manage to take a quick peek back. And my heart jolts a little when I see worry plastered on Lilith's face. I don't have time to rebuttal Sabrina's grasp on me. Before I know it, we are in the deepest part of the kitchen. We are in an enclosed area with no way to see in besides the entrance. This secluded spot makes me nervous about what's to come, and it's making my heart rate increase a tenfold.

"So... Sabrina what do you want me to do for the trouble I caused." She turned away from me, so I am talking to her back side. She doesn't acknowledge my question and slowly turns back around. Her eye brows narrow seductively, and she gives an ever so slight bite to her lip. I gulp down my raging hormones, trying not to seem fazed by her mature nature. I don't say anything as she walks towards me. She grabs my lose shirt and reels me into her. She reaches both hands around my neck and pulls me in close enough to feels her breath on my face. My face is redder than an apple from how close she is to me. We're not going to kiss, are we? My conscience leaves me hanging all alone. You really do pick the worst times to not give me some kind of reassurance.

I'm trying to prepare myself for a kiss, since I have never even had a kiss on the cheek before. What if she doesn't like it? What if my breath smells like ass? What if I pass out from a surge of endorphins? With all these thoughtless questions she starts to lean in even closer. I can feel her, hear her, heartbeat, and feel her warm breath touching my overly sensitive skin. I try keeping my eyes from looking down, but I can't resist her exotic gaze; my eyes meet hers. What are you doing, to think you would be so worried about the small things; like 'what if she doesn't like it?' Give me a break. You are forgetting one of the most fundamental things about her. As my conscience is trying to tell me something, I can't concentrate. My brain is going through many scenarios of what could happen. June, come on my man, you have to realize how many guys she has been with. Have you forgot about a very important thing called sexual diseases? The term 'sexual diseases' snaps me out of my overly hormonal state. You're right, I can't be doing this. The time will come eventually, when I grow my harem of course, but not right know. "H-hey... S-Sabrina-" She stops me talking by putting her index finger over my lips. "Shh..." She changes her trajectory, from what I thought was my lips, to my left ear. "I'm not going to have you do any work for what happened back there. That was just an excuse to get you alone. However, I do want to tell you something." Her lips are less than centimeters away from my ear. "June... I wanted to think you for what you told me back there, any other man would've taken my offer without hesitation. Thinking I was just an easy fix, but ya told me all the things I was doing wrong, and I am genuinely grateful to ya for that. So..." She moves from my ears to my cheek. I feel a warmth unlike anything before on my left cheek. Mwah. The sensation quickly leaves my cheek, and I'm shocked stiff. I just had my first kiss, albeit one on the cheek, but I'll take anything I can get.

She releases her hold and backs off of my body. She looks genuinely happy as her cheeks blush ever so slightly. I'm speechless, trying to find the right thing to say. However, she beats me to it. "June, in the near future I hope to get to know you more, and then once we get really close there is definitely more where that came from." Someone seems overconfident. I push my conscience's input to the side and say, "Yeah, totally." She gives me a cute wink. This action pushes my hormonal emotions over there experienced limits. A green radiance starts to overpower the incoming natural light. Sabrina looks at me with confused eyes. I myself am doing the same thing. "What the hell?" I whisper to myself. Then suddenly the light from outside goes completely black.

I wipe my eyes to make sure I'm not hallucinating. The small room we are in is completely dark. "Hey, Sabrina where are you?" Right when I ask this, I feel something squishy in my hand. It's like nothing I have ever felt before. "What is this?" I don't hesitate to squeeze this mysterious object again. The second time I squish it, I hear a slight moan. Okay that's a little weird. "Sabrina you've got to check this out..." Then a dark realization comes to me. If my cheeks were luminescent, they would be able to light the whole Inn right now, with how red I imagine they are. I quickly release my grip. I hear a whisper, Sabrina's voice. "Light fill my area, illumination." The small room is overtaken by a small light. The first thing I see is Sabrina's panting blushed face. "June, that was my..." You idiot, shouldn't you know from countless means of entertainment that anything squishy that you can't see is always a bad sign. Before she can utter another word, I drop down on my knees. "Sabrina I am so, so sorry for touching your... You know what... I mean it was dark, and because of that I couldn't see, so could you please forgive me?" Sabrina looks down at me with amused eyes, and before I can do anything else, she starts to laugh. "What are you talking about, it is completely find. Besides..." She bends over, giving her lips a lick, and whispers into my ear. Once she finishes whispering in my ear, my heart starts to race out of control, and can't even think straight. So, the only thing I can manage to do is get up off my knees and put as much distance between the two of us as possible. She gives me an innocent look and says, "How precious... and innocent... You don't have to get so flustered... Just think about it, okay?" I nod my head and quickly change the topic to the problem at hand. Right as I'm about to mention it, I start to hear some commotion from the dining area, which is to be expected. "So, on a different note, what do you think caused everything to become dark all of the sudden"

She looks quizzically up at her small light and says. "I have no clue." Well that sure was a lot of help. "I guess it's about time I head back to see what's going on. Maybe Lilith knows something?" I watch Sabrina's face turn sour as I mention her name. "Hey, June do you love her?" I jar back, surprised by the sudden question. "I mean I wouldn't say love, but..." I can't find anything more to add on, so Sabrina changes her tune once again. "Okay then, just a tad curious. I guess this is where we part, I've got to get back to my coworkers; so, by." She quickly makes her way pass me. And as she does, she touches my hand ever so slightly. This touch somehow feels like a plead of some kind, it is almost like she's telling me that she doesn't want to be like she was before any longer. This makes me happy and I follow right behind her. I keep straight as she turns into the main kitchen area. The moment I make my way into the dining area I'm pulled to the side. This sudden jerk of my body gives my heart a run for its money, however, I don't make a rebuttal for I notice who it is right away. "Lilith do you have any idea..." I'm not able to finish before she interrupts with, "June you have to see this right away." She keeps hold of my arm, as she leads me to the exit. We step outside and I notice Ivory and Seven looking up. Alongside them is a world covered in darkness. I look up out of curiosity and am immediately dumbfounded by what I see. "How is, why is, it night time?" Ivory is the first one to respond to my question. "I can say with all my heat that I have no idea of what the cause of this could be." I gaze back up towards the twinkling stars. I notice that there is no moon, but I'm not sure if it's just a new moon or the fact that it could be in another part of the world. "This is insane. Wasn't it just lunch time?" Seven is the one to continue the conversation this time. "Why is this happening Ivory? I'm s-scared." Seven starts to cry and jumps into Ivory's arms.
