Chapter 2- Transported to Another World... For Just 24 Hours! Part 6

My eyes open and everything is in a blur. I can see a man's face in front of mine. I can see the outline of his mouth moving, but I can't hear him. And I can feel my physical body… Wait something doesn't feel right. I jolt in my mind, but that does not translate to my body. This feels awfully similar to when I was in my younger self. Before I can ask anything, my conscience is already telling me what I was going to ask. Your wondering what the heck is going on, so I am going to explain it the best I can. We are not in our body… We are in Lilith's body. I can feel my conscience cringe as it tells me this. I'm dumbfounded from this and mutter, "Well that explains why I can't feel my only friend." Yes, sadly. But on the bright side we are in a memory, so it's only temporary. Yeah, I know, but it still feels weird. Yeah…

After a few seconds of awkward silence, I can feel a sense of urgency and fear from Lilith. Her vision is clear, but her ears are only picking up a little of what Czar is saying. "Ms. Are you… Is everything… If you can hear… Come on say something… Don't worry." After a few minutes of Czar trying to get Lilith to respond, her ears finally become clear. "Don't worry everything is going to be fine now, Vallah has been defeated." I can feel relief overtake her emotions and tears start to trickle down her face. Czar wraps his arms around her in a comforting manner. Lilith responds kindly to this and balls her eyes out. While she is letting everything out, I'm trying to figure out why I got transferred to her body. Since, from what Lilith told me, the seer can only show the memories of the person it was most attached to. So, the major question is, why are we possessing Lilith's body? Exactly!

Right as this thought occurs to us Lilith stops crying and rest her head on Czar's shoulder. Czar doesn't say anything and allows her to use his shoulder as a head rest. Her eyes catch a tiny glare coming a few feet away from her. Her eyes focus in on it and notice the split green orb. A sense of concern crashes in like a rapid river. She hurriedly releases from his caring grip and rushes to the broken bracelet. She kneels on the ground to pick it up. Tears once again start to pour down her face. "Sir wh-where is June?" She hic-ups as she asks where I am. Czar walks over to her and kneels beside her. He gives a smile radiating with warmth to her. I can feel this calm her down a little, but that doesn't stop the overwhelming amount of concern to fade away. "Where is J-" Before she can finish Czar tells her what she wants to know. "Do not worry little one June is with the Head Wizard. I'm sure he is fine-" Lilith interrupts this time by frantically saying , "But Vallah was here and she threw… I saw her kill him… And then she, she, I can't remember anything after that." Her tears become more abundant. "Do not worry, as I have stated, June is fine, in fact he is the one who defeated Vallah. Feelings of relief and unbelief overtake her concern.

Her fist clinches the bracelet tight enough to reunite the halves together. Lilith eyes start to dry up its tears, looking firmly with Czar's eyes. "Sir do you promise June is going to be okay?" He says, "Yes I promise, little one.", he follows with a reassuring chuckle. His reassurance erases any concern about June, and I can feel her longing or him. In the corner of her eyes she can see an old man looking our way. She turns and before their eyes can meet, he turns his head and starts to walk towards the horses. She might not have been able to identify the Head Wizard, however the person levitating behind her is me. "June!" her voice shrieks as she shouts my name. "Yes, that is indeed him, and the man taking care of him is the Head Wizard, so there is nothing to be worried about." Lilith turns to Czar and is once again reassured by his charming grin; also stealing a smile from her. "Okay then enough chitchat let us leave this place." Lilith doesn't take a second thought before agreeing and taking Czar's left hand, clenching it almost as tightly as the bracelet in her left hand.

As Czar walks Lilith through the decimated land, her eyes are glued to the knights helping the few students who survived; watching how sincere each knights' kindness is. Her heart rate increases, while she watches the spectacle. She looks down to her left hand and opens it revealing the broken bracelet. She gives it a smile and clenches her hand back into a fist. Her head looks up to the brightening sky and takes in a deep breath of cool air. I can feel an overwhelming emotion building up inside of her; a resolve surpassing anything I have ever felt before. She exhales. "Sir I want to become a knight." Czar stops, looking down at Lilith with a puzzled look. "Heh-heh sure you do-" He stops his joking tone when he sees the resolve on her eyes. Before he can get another word out Lilith interjects. "Sir, I mean no disrespect, but I am going to be your apprentice." Czar mouth moves, but no words come out due to a loss for words. After a few minutes of a stand still Czar gives a hardy chuckle and says, "To be honest I'm in no position to take an apprentice." Lilith's eyes start to slowly sink to the ground. "But I can see the resolve in you and know that you can take whatever knightlihood might throw at you, not to mention I love that attitude of yours. Therefore Ms. I would love for you to be my apprentice knight. So, stick your chin up for me." Lilith eyes shoot up in excitement. "Really, really, really!?" Czar gives a simple nod. "Since you are going to be my apprentice, I should probably know your name." Without having to ask Lilith gives her name and he follows suit. With their hands still locked they start to converse as they walk to Czar's horse. So, this was the event that caused Lilith to want to be a knight, very interesting. But, even with all this information, I still have a bunch of questions. For instance, how come I never see her again after this, until today?

June, I feel a weird force pulling us. What? You have got to be kidding me. How many changes are we going to have to go through? Right as I say this I get pulled from Lilith's body, once again in my celestial form. "What the literal hell!?" June this isn't like before, this is one-hundred time stronger. "Well that's just great." I don't stop being pulled once I'm out of Lilith. I keep ascending into the translucent sky. As I am being forced away, I watch as Lilith and Czar hold hands, waking away into the sunrise; almost like a couple, if it wasn't a little creepy and a lot illegal. "Hey, you think we are being pulled out of these memories." I'm positive that is what's happening. My face brightens with a big smile. "Yes, Finally! I get to leave this bore fest and return to my harem." I don't think I would call the girls you're acquainted with a harem just yet. "Oh, come on, don't be like that." With those words the world around me starts to fade, eventually turning into complete darkness.
