3 Chapter 3

ELENE POV

Its been a week and today is my birthday I never celebrate my birthday but today felt different I could feel it, I couldn't sleep so I woke up in the middle of the night and checked the time it was just 3:00 am I was about going to the kitchen to take a cup of coffee when I heard a voice

"Elene"

I got up scared and said

"Who's there?"

"Switch on the light switch" came the reply

It took sometime but I finally found it and when switched it on you could imagine my surprise when I saw a man dressed in robes and woman that looked strikingly familiar beside him

"Father, mother , it can't be its a dream" I said

"It's not" said my mother and she hugged me

"Dad were you the one who spoke to me" I said

"Of course you didn't think you got your intelligence from your dumb foster parents did you?" We snickered

"On a more serious note" said my mother "tell her why we are here"

My father clears his throat and says

"We want to tell you something  but you must tell no one"

I nodded

"Good I'm  a wizard and your mother is a good witch but not all witches are good some are bad, I am the son of the most powerful wizard like wise your mother but this is why your life is being seeked so we hid your identity and sent you here to earth we come from a much different planet and we are here to train your powers because they have been hidden for so long so we will be visiting you from time to time each time we come we will be training you here are something you will need"

My father clapped his hands and books landed on my bed but I could swear I saw my mother move behind him

"Don't forget the sceptre Travis"

"Yeah almost forgot"

He clapped his hands again and my mother moved  behind him and a sceptre appeared in my hands it was golden with a blue crystal in the middle and it was shining in my hands the blue light illuminated my room

"That sceptre was gifted to me by my great grand father it has been passed down from him to me but the sceptre never worked but it has chosen you-"

"Round up the humans are coming"

"Alright Victoria"

He turned to me and said

"You are destined for greatness"

Then they vanished into thin air just as my foster mother entered and said

"What are you doing with a stick" I looked at the sceptre then back at her confusion written on my head

"Anyway you better remove those pieces of paper from your bed and take care of the kitchen"

Then she left while my mouth was on the floor

"Don't seem so surprised I placed an illusion spell on them so hurry up and get ready for school we wouldn't want you to be late " said  my mom

My poor mouth had no time to recover and fell again I had school freaking school how could I have forgotten I glanced at the clock which now read 6:45, jumping into action I his everything under bed and ran downstairs to finish my chores after that I took a shower and hurried to school dropping the twins at school I walked quickly to my school

Today is gonna be a long day I thought when I reached the school gate
