The next day, Yuki was visited by Chihiro who wanted to check on Mashiro, but other than that, he spent the rest of his time taking advantage of his minotaur's talent to train his body. He also made sure to visit the underground arena since he had the [Quest: Warrior's Glory] which required him to win 10 consecutive fights perfectly.

His fight this time was with a boxer, and Yuki easily defeated him while making it look like it was luck again. However, people in the gambling industry weren't that easy to trick, and the odds for the fight were 1 to 5 instead of yesterday's 1 to 20! and they would only grow again if he loses or suffers some damage and make his wins look harder which he planned to do.

Still, he made some good money betting on himself, almost another 200000 yen. He planned to continue doing this, getting a fight each day for the next few days until he completes his mission…

Meanwhile, something he didn't like was the thought of school. The new year was about to begin in two more days and honestly, he didn't plan to attend at all, to him it was a waste of time, being someone who could be considered a superhuman and can easily make money through legal and illegal means…

So, he was 80% determined to say fuck it all and drop out and focus on more productive activities using his system, he especially wanted to complete more quests to grow stronger as fast as possible. After all, he didn't forget that he has that annoying [Chain Quest: Footprints in another world].

Stated in this quest was the fact that he will be summoned to a world that has magic, and the deadline was only 30 days for him to prepare before he accepts the summoning. Surprisingly, the system didn't force him to accept this quest by making harsh conditions for failure such as death which made Yuki more and more doubtful whether the system was trying to help him before or not?

After all, if he didn't accept those quests and gained the power he has right now, he might have ended up being dead by those crazy demons.

And currently, he had to go to a world of magic, and seeing how strong Maou and the others are, he concluded that he should be very careful if he decided to accept the summoning. So, he decided to put all his strength into training and doing quests for the next month.

His greedy nature was tempted by the crazy rewards he was promised, plus he felt like he could use the dimensional link to go back here at any moment through his connection with Maou so he wasn't very worried about accepting the Chain quest... Rather he would be stupid if he didn't.

2 days quickly went by, and Yuki started to notice something strange "Why in the hell I'm not getting any quests?" yelled Yuki in annoyance inside his empty room since Mashiro left early to school.

"Oy, dumb system, how about you explain this to me?" Asked Yuki, and soon a notification appeared in front of him

[Apologies, the system forgot that the host is too dumb to figure this out by himself. The way quests are given is random, the host can get none in a month, or maybe 100 in a day]

"What the hell, what am I supposed to do then?" Asked Yuki in frustration completely ignoring the system's insult, although he registered it deep down in his heart along with his other hatred for it ready to pay it back someday in the future if he could…

[Sigh, There are some things that could increase the chances of getting quests. Figure it out yourself]

After this message, the system didn't reply to Yuki again no matter what he said "Tch, what a cheap system"

Yuki of course already had a guess on how to increase his chances of getting quests, but he still wanted to try to trick the system and see if he could get any free information from it, but it turned out that it was as black-hearted as him if not more…

'It seems like most of the quests I triggered so far follow a certain rule, they either are connected to protagonists of different stories such as Mashiro and Maou whom I got 4 quests from [Chain Quest: Eye of the storm], [Quest: Seed of Terror], [Quest: Confused heart]' Thought Yuki while pouring himself a cup of water and started to sip it slowly

'There's also the quests related to me, such as [Quest: Settle down], [Quest: Bully the bullies], and lastly, the weirdest type of all, the one such as [Chain Quest: Footprints in another world], [Quest: Monster in disguise], [Quest: Warrior's Glory]. These ones seem to be triggered either randomly or by encountering weird events. Although I'm still not sure why something like the underground arena could trigger a quest, there's probably something special about it…'

After some contemplation, Yuki felt that his best chance to get quests was to search for supernatural events or even protagonists from different anime he used to watch, and just as he was about to start, a notification suddenly appeared in front of him, startling him slightly as he muttered

"What now, you finally decided to help me out a little?" but to his surprise, it wasn't a normal message from the system, instead it was a quest, and his eyes couldn't help but narrow sharply as if he became a different person when he read its content.

"Fuck! Fuck! FUCK" yelled Yuki, startling Hanzo who was playing on his computer which made him stare at Yuki's room with doubt in his eyes as he muttered "Why's that idiot being so noisy all of a sudden? did something happen? not that I care..."

But soon he heard the door of Yuki's room open and slam after him quickly resulting in some cracks on the door as if a bomb exploded.

"What the fuck is wrong with h-" Before Lucifer could finish his sentence, the door of room 201 came flying out until It slammed on the wall behind it, and after staring at it for a second, he turned his gaze back to the entrance of the room where he saw Yuki who looked like a vengeful spirit with negative emotions overflowing from him and after absorbing some of them. Lucifer understood that he was both angry and worried, but worry made the majority of it…

'What's going on? is he finally here to take revenge?' Thought Lucifer before he asked with a nervous tone "How can I help you?" before pointing at the door and said "Maou will kill you for this you know?"

However, Yuki didn't care at all and quickly approached him which made Lucifer stand on guard as he started to channel the small amount of magic he has just in case to defend himself from any sudden attacks but Yuki simply stopped in front of him and said "I need your help"

Lucifer frowned slightly before he said "What do you want?"

"I need you to help me locate Emilia, I know you put a tracking device on her wallet when you stole it during your attack on her and Maou" said Yuki with a hurried voice but Lucifer quickly denied it with a startled look on his face "I-I don't know what you're talking about"

"Hanzo, this is urgent, it's a matter of life and death and I can't waste too much time right now chatting with you" Said Yuki, and hearing the urgency in his voice and understanding that the situation wasn't simple, the gears inside Hanzo's head started turning at a terrifying speed 'Should I help him solving whatever problem the hero landed herself in or should I use this chance to get rid of her'

Countless possibilities flashed through Hanzo's head, but before he could react, he was slapped very hard by Yuki sending him flying and startling him as anger rose from his heart and he was about to use his magic to retaliate when he heard Yuki say "I don't care what kind of conflict you two had in Ente Isla, but this world is different, I hope she could have a new start here, away from all your stupid wars"

Hearing this, Hanzo didn't stop channeling his remaining magic at all and already created two dark spears which he was ready to use to kill Yuki as he didn't care at all about what he was saying until he heard his next words "And I wish the same for you and Maou and Ashiya, you know this is Maou's wish, he's probably not interested in going back to Ente Isla anymore"

Hanzo's raised hand that was about to stab Yuki suddenly stopped, and looking at his honest eyes, he could see that he was telling the truth which brought a weird feeling to his heart, and he couldn't help but remember his past few days here that lacked any need for scheming or killing and he simply passed his time enjoying the new hobbies he found in this world making him feel like he was in heaven… the place he wanted to return to... No, he felt like this place was even better!

"Tch, fine, but you can't tell her that I was tracking her and you will also owe me one" said Hanzo as he sat back on his computer and entered a software that connects to the device he planted on Emilia's wallet.

"Thank you, and sorry for bitch slapping you" Said Yuki apologetically, although his words were more annoying than his actions…

Hanzo glared at him while his hands kept working on the computer nonstop before the screen finally turned into a 2D map of the city and a red dot that indicated Emilia's location was unmoving in what appeared to be a huge square in the map…

Yuki immediately asked while pointing at the red dot "What and where is this?" and Hanzo responded saying "It's an abandoned warehouse in the Shinjuku area near Toyama park, by the way, do you need help? You know something that could trouble the hero won't be easily solved by you no matter how resourceful you can be, right?"

Yuki was surprised by his offer before he shook his head and stood up "I know, but unfortunately, I have to do it on my own… Take care buddy"

With those last words, Yuki turned around and left, leaving Lucifer deep in his thoughts alone in the room staring at his fading back…
