6 Chapter 6 : School

The Ray of sunlight hits me, damn you sun. as if Amaterasu herself hears my curse, the sunlight shines even brighter as if trying to burn my eyes.

Fine, fine, i get it. as I groggily get up, and prepare myself for the day. it seems that Nanako and uncle Ryo are both early birds. as I see Nanako already up and ready and making breakfast. and uncle Ryo is already on his morning coffee and reading the news.

"Wake Yu up, and ask him to hurry up, in 15 minutes I'm going to drive you to your school since it's your first time in this area."

I don't think I need to wake YU up as I hear footsteps behind me.

"Oh Yu, you are already up, eat up and don't make me wait"

A fast breakfast later, and after dropping nanako to her elementary school, I could feel uncle Ryo's atmosphere suddenly change.

"Yu, Akira, I'm going to be frank with you guys, I don't dislike my family, but sometimes they just go overboard. This is not tokyo so don't go causing a mess where I have to fix. I may be a police chief but I can't clean every little thing up ok? This is not the Dojima Family's Playground."

By the way he talks, there seems to be bad blood between him and my family, the only one I know who is infamous for being bad is my old man. so that's why huh.

"I understand Uncle Ryo"

"I'm glad we reached an understanding. here's your stop, I can't pick you guys up, but i think you know your way back. If not you can always ask the locals. anyway, I'm dropping you off here. Just don't go out too late. It's quite dangerous at night lately. We recently have the worst Fog out here. take care not to get lost ok?"

xxxx High, my new highschool.

Our first destination is the teacher's office. I met our homeroom teacher there. I mustered my sincerest smile and introduced myself. Our teacher however Mr. Morooka seems to have disdain towards us. From what I remember he is a traditional man who doesn't like his countryside 'tradition' to be tainted by our cityscape pop-culture. oh well it's not my place to judge him.

Class 2-2

"Okay Class We have 2 New Students Today, please introduce yourself"

"I'm Narukami Yu, I'm from --"

"Hey You! I know you've been leering on girls, I know you city folk are a bunch of no good kids. entitled just because you live in the big cities you are looking down on us right? -----"

as he continues his rant both me and Yu are awkwardly smiling from his forward display of displeasure. And after the homeroom bell rang he finally stopped ranting.

"So with that in mind, Yu you sit there and Akira-kun can sit beside the window"

I got the protagonist seat. YES. Achievement. Banzai. well to be fair it's just a seat I don't know why people usually hype up this seat.

As for Yu, He sits in his usual spot. besides Chie. Chie is another protagonist of Persona 4, She's a straightforward girl with brown bob-cut hair. She has a slim and athletic build. and if i remember correctly she's also into martial arts.

(WN: I don't know how to describe her hair)

Ah class is starting now. The next Teacher replaces Mr.moron apparently that's what the other student calls him. The next teacher wasn't that bad, nor the teacher after him. I guess the only bad seed is Mr. Moron.

All in all, i found the lessons easy, as I'm pretty sure I have at least learnt or heard of all the teaching material except for Japanese Literature and History.

And so another day in class passed as the bell rang.
