4 Chapter 4 : Inaba and the Wild Card Holder

The Train ride is boring. At least I have my phone with me. It seems like spotify isn't a thing yet. and most of what I have on my iPhone is my music collection, which is nice. What shocked me was it's battery life. 4 hours of train ride only shave a bit around 10% of the total battery.

the announcement was heard as i stood up from my seat. As I disembarked the train I was greeted by a town with a serene atmosphere.

"Hey Over Here!"

as i look towards the direction the voice was coming from, i can see 2 figures, a middle aged man and a elementary school girl.

"It's been a long time" Said the man, this is my uncle Ryotaro Dojima. He's a man with a rough look, black hair, sharp eyes, and a well built body. I guess they don't just let anybody become a police chief nowadays huh.

"Well, I'll say you have grown up quite a looker"

"It's been quite a while uncle Ryotaro"

"Ah this is nanako" the little girl blushes and hides behind uncle Ryotaro.

I squatted down.

"Hey there nanako-chan"

"--'ello" replied the chestnut haired girl.

"we're still waiting for someone i hope you don't mind"

not long after there's another young man. the MC of the 4th persona series.

"Narukami YU!" Shouted my uncle.

yu was startled and quickly waved towards us.

"Yu, let me introduce you to your fellow housemate. Akira Dojima."

"Akira Dojima Nice to meet you." I stretched my hand expecting a handshake.

"Narukami Yu, Likewise" as we shake it out.

"I heard both of you are from tokyo so you shouldn't feel too alienated here. this is a quiet town with not a lot to offer."

"I think I'll fit in just fine Uncle Ryo."

"Uncle Ryo huh, that's got a nice ring to it."

"By the way are you guys hungry i haven't eaten anything at all let's get something to eat"

as i said that. there's a young girl that bumps into Yu.

"Hey you drop this"

"Thank you"

"I only picked it up"

With this small interaction I am sure that we're on the P4 Golden timeline.

As we got along the road, uncle Ryo needs to refill his fuel, so we stopped by a gas station. me and Yu heads directly towards the toilet, the events played out like cannon where Yu shooks hand with the attendant and awaken his power.

strange, the attendant this time looks feminine. with sharp red eyes and messy black hair. and that's some huge asset, C no it's a D for sure.

I have an impulsive thought to intervene. damn lucky protagonist. Should I though? nah it's going to be too bothersome. But I am curious, what would I awaken if I shook her hand.

I was having those thoughts as a hand grabs my shoulder. I suddenly feel a bit light headed. I see the 'attendant' worried look as she touches my shoulder.

"hey are you ok?"

NO I AM NOT OK? WHAT HAPPENED TO LAYING LOW! YOU JUST GAVE ME POWER DIDNT YOU? YOU WANT ME TO PLAY YOUR GAME DIDN'T YOU? GOD DAMNIT IZANAMI!

WAIT WHAT IF I JUST FUCK UP THE CANNON. AH SCREW IT LETS TRY. I CAN SEE THE ATTENDANT FACE GIVING ME THE 'fu, fu, fu' laugh. calm down me.

"No, i think i lost something"

"What did you lose dear customer? i bet it's here somewhere." said the attendant.

"You're so beautiful I lost my pickup line."

deadpan. That's the look everyone is giving me.

"HAHAHAHA!"

*BANG* as i feel my head has been caved in, Uncle Ryo hit my head so hard i think there's a new bump in my head.

"You little rascal! i just left you for 5 seconds and you're already picking up girls."

damnit uncle Ryo, are you somehow an apostle? it must be right? seeing how you intervene.

"But seriously can i get your number, because i really lost mine"

I feel like everyone around me just face palmed.

but look at the bright side i got her number and her name.
