19 Chapter 19: Father-in-Law(2)
# I'm gonna shorten Omi-Alliance into OA and Tojo-clan to TJC
The talks are not progressing at all, as I know that the OA are stalling for time, maybe thinking a certain someone will bail them out. But sadly he's also being held back. I'm talking about my brother in law, Ryuji Goda. The hot headed Yakuza who wants nothing more than to prove his worth by beating Uncle Kaz? Why him? Because of his nickname; Dragon of Kansai. He always felt that he was overshadowed by Uncle Kaz and that's why he would always try to prove himself better.
"Father" I asked Jin Goda loudly.
"What is it Akira?"
"I think we should continue this talk after a short break."
Silence. And surprise. That's what everyone in the room except for Kiryu and Daigo, is expressing right now.
"Did he just call the Chairman"
"Yeah i heart it to"
"What is their relation?"
"I've never heard of a the chairman having a son at Tojo clan"
Murmurs get a little louder, and louder and louder still, now at this point everyone's raising their voice. I stood up and simply slammed the table.
Oops, I broke a part of it. Gomenasai table.
"Now that I have your undivided attention. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Akira Dojima. Current Patriarch of the Dojima Family. Today is an auspicious day for us. We who are born in the same nation, we who have suffered it's hardships and also share both happiness and sadness are finally able to talk with one another without resorting to bloodshed."
As I monologue I am currently observing everyone from OA and TJC. finding out who is suspicious enough to be a traitor. Surprisingly after a bit of observation and using Romulus to scout around the room, I can point out to a few members of both OA and TJC as traitors, either they have a voice transmitting device with foreign language chatter, and/or they have simply increased heart rate by my every word. Quite obvious. Please try a little harder.
"Now as Father has spoken before, We are here to negotiate a peace treaty. Where we it is my and father's goal to reach a future where both our clans can merge into one, where our members are able to walk among the streets not to be shunned by society and most importantly our plans moving forward. I promise that after this treaty is signed, we who was thrown away by society, we have no other way of life, and can only came this far after sticking and TRUSTing with one another with our backs, we will be able to show ourselves among the populace without prejudice, without having to fear of what people think of us, and lastly for our family especially our children, in which we can proudly announce what we do for a living without having to lie. That is what I offer, I offer Freedom."
Another thing I picked up from Izanami and Romulus, I can subtly affect the mind with mana, giving my words a bit more persuasive power. As i was speaking I silently ordered Romulus to destroy electronic devices that the traitors are using.
"That is why. For our first bold step"
I unraveled a scroll that I hid in my inner suit's pocket.
"I, Akira Dojima, as the Patriarch of the Dojima Family. Agrees in this Peace treaty"
As I stamped the scroll with my Family stamp. As I pass along the scroll.
"I, Kazama Kiryu, The fourth Chairman of the Tojo Family. Agrees in this Peace treaty"
Uncle Kaz did the same, but his words bore more weight than mine as he immediately uses his title as the chairman.
"I, Jin Goda, The Fifth Chairman of the Omi-Alliance. Agrees in this Peace treaty"

Just as planned. Mana is really awesome. No not mana per se, but my STAND is awesome. I can hear Romulus going ROMA this and ROMA that right now. But I can't afford being distracted.
After 15 minutes we have everyone's signature and stamp. Each Higher up of the OA and TJC led multiple families, as such these 38 people who signed the peace treaty have the power of almost half the families that are in each faction.
Now all we gotta do is to get the remaining half.
"Now That concludes today's discussion and meeting. Father, I thank you for coming all this way from Osaka, I'll personally escort you home and continue the peace talk."
"That's expected of my successor. Now don't waste time. OA we're moving out."
Everyone quickly cleared the room. But before that.
"I'll wait for you in the car. Akira."
"Yes, Father"
"Uncle Kaz, it's not over yet, we're just half done."
"I know. But I'm proud of the man you've become"
"Thanks Uncle Kaz, I have the best Father after all."
He smiled as he understood what i meant.
"You too Daigo-nii, you better not slack off and pick up the pace. Time's changing and it's changing fast."
"I never thought I'd see the day my outoto will outdo me."

"I guess that's right isn't it?"
"So I guess now's the time to consolidate our TJC and also sweep the house clean huh?"
"Yeah, here's the list of anyone who's suspicious, look into it."
As i give a list of names that i have been writing since the start.
"And one more thing, Uncle Kaz"
"What is it?"
"I heard your best friend is doing construction work. We need his cooperation in this huge project of mine. And also stay safe uncle Kaz. "
"Will do. And who're you talking about?"
"You'll find out soon enough…"
I gave an ominous laugh as I left the meeting room.

Politics are hard.
I'm now in a car, going towards the airport. We're going to fly back to Osaka tonight. I rode along with my father-in-law. It seems that we're the last one to leave as the plane we're using is the OA private jet.
"I hope you're ready for tonight"
"I am, if not I wouldn't be here with you"
"And I've just heard that Ryuji was inside the compound before leaving. Did Izanami do this?"
"Yeah I asked her to tell the truth to Ryuji."
"The truth?"
"Yeah. Wait I shouldn't be the one telling you this."
"Just spit it out. Iwai is trustworthy.
Our sedan consists of me, Iwai-san and Father-in-law. So there's little to no problem speaking here. And we are in the middle of being escorted to the airport. So there's little to no chance of information leak.
"Ok, so the truth of the matter is, Izanami's accident last year. The car crash is orchatrasted by the JingWeon Mafia. In hopes of igniting a war of OA and TJC by blaming everything to TJC."
"But how do they want to blame it on TJC Inaba doesn't even have any influence of TJC"
"That's true, but did you know why it happened on Inaba? And what was Izanami supposed to do that day?"
"How can I forget that day is the day she's supposed to visit her mother's grave in….."
His eyes went wide, pupil dilating, palms getting sweaty and knees are getting weak, well his knees can't get weaker can it.
"Traitorous bastards. Only they know where and who she is."
He cursed.
"Iwai!"
"Yes sir!"
"Summon everyone tonight, tell them I have something to tell them and tell them those who didn't show up will be kicked out of OA effective right away."
"I hear and obey!" (WN: For the horde)
"Anymore surprises?"
"None, yet."
"You'll be the death of me one day. And here I thought I would perish while staring at the end of a barrel."

As we arrive at the airport. We are thoroughly searched by the airport security, it seems that even though we are yakuza with some influence we need to work on our presence in the government side and need to invest in some more private sectors.
Iwai seemed to finally finish his task, as for the last hour he was speaking non-stop calling here and there.
"It's done, Gondaime-sama"
"Good."
"How's the plane? And where's Ryuji."
"The plane is ready to depart anytime, Young master Ryuji and Young miss have already boarded the plane."
"Behaving for once, that's an improvement."
"Are we boarding soon?"
"Not yet, we're still waiting for someone."
As we made our way to the lounge, I excused myself to get a taste of some of the food and water. As I made my way back I was greeted by a sight of a woman in her early 20s speaking with father in law.
"Kaoru, It's been a while, how have you been."
Ah this woman is Kaoru Sayama, Ryuji Goda's half brother.
"I've been well father."
"Good, good, do you want to go back to Osaka with me or are there still some assignments?"
"Assignments it seems that the JingWeon Mafia had become more active since this morning. I have my orders."
"Orders huh? Does it have something to do with Kiryu Kazuma?"
"I'm afraid so."
"Ok then, tell me if you need any help, don't be too reserved, I'm still your father after all."
"Thank you for your consideration father. I'll call if anything comes up."
As she said that, she gets up from her chair and proceeds to leave. Without even batting me an eye.
"That's my ex wife's daughter. Ryuji's half brother."
"Sister-in-law seems like a cold person."
"HAHAHAHA! She'll warm up to you in no time. Trust me. Let's go back to Osaka. Iwai! We're leaving!"
So with that we left the lounge.
