17 Chapter 17: Tojo Clan HQ

It's the dawn of the next day. My sleep is surprisingly pleasant. I check my phone, the LED flashes up as it displays today's time. 05:02. Wait… something's not right. As I verify it's my phone, and even unlock it using my fingerprint. Yep this is my phone. But why is my wallpaper so erotic? It's Izanami, in a gravure pose. I'm not complaining.
After exiting my sleeping capsule, I immediately check on the others. It seems that they're still sleeping. I decided to take an early bath, to energize myself, opening the door of the toilet/bathroom. I found Izanami who's already in the shower taking a bath.
{Ah it seems like I forgot to lock the door}
DAMN RIGHT WOMAN! You knew this didn't you? You planned this didn't you? As those thoughts flash in my mind, I decided to just step back out and continue to write my novel. But I have to say her body is a 10/10. It's just like the photograph huh. nice.
Sitting in the living area, I can be found as Izanami describes it 'Frivolously writing down his novel'. Uncle Ryo was the one to wake up after me. He offered me a cup of coffee which I respectfully declined. It seems that he's got something to prep before disembarking in Tokyo so he excuses himself head towards the other car. That's the last thing I remember before I enter 'the zone'.
'The zone' as I called it is a hyper-focused state where a person whose performing a task is so fully immersed in it, and enjoying it. It usually raises the quality of the task.
"Hey! Akira"
"What's wrong Yu?"
I didn't notice he's up. What time is it now?
"You better take a bath we're arriving in 30 minutes"
"Ok. thanks for the reminder."
The train's bathroom is surprisingly wide now that I have time to stop and observe. After taking a quick bath and changing into a suit. I didn't forget to put on kevlar underneath. I don't need Kevlar as I already have Romulus boosting my stats. But bouncing bullets back is just ridiculous even in Yakuza's standard.
"You look dashing today"
"So are you"
I was wearing a formal suit complete with a black tie. While Izanami on the other hand is wearing a formal looking Yukata. Her yukata is white with yellow and blue flower patterns. Her hair is also braided up with flowers adorning her braided hair. She looks elegant. People complain about how long a woman usually needs to 'get ready'. But this, I'm surprised if she finishes her hair within this hour, and by herself at that.
"Guys, get ready to leave, and make sure nothing is left behind. It would be bad if you forgot something here."
After arriving at Tokyo, we immediately split up. Uncle Ryo and his escorts are to head to HQ as fast as possible, while Yu is taking Nanako to DisneyLand. Me and Izanami is going to meet up with uncle Kaz before going to Tojo Clan Hq.
I opened my phone and called Uncle Kaz.
=Akira, where are you?=
-Shinjuku, I've just arrived from Inaba.-
=Ok, transport is already waiting for you, see you soon Akira.=
-Ok Uncle Kaz.-
As I walk out the train station, I can already spot my transport. Ah there it is. It's a black Honda sedan.
"Young Master"
It is starting to cause quite a scene as people suddenly look our way. As I hate the attention, I quickly get into the car.
"It's good that Young Master Akira has found himself a bride."
"If only young master Daigo is this diligent"
"Yeah, Aniki would be proud."
I sit in the back seat along with Izanami, and I can clearly hear them talk on the radio. Right now I am escorted back to Tojo Clan HQ. I can't help but be nervous. I am going to change Cannon again. But I hope this time, it will be a better attempt.
"Kashiwagi"
"Yes, Akira?"
"How's mother these days"
"She's in good health, and she seems happier today remembering that you finally bought back a bride."
Osamu Kashiwagi. He is a true traditional yakuza through and through. He's one of my mother's most trusted subordinates. A Captain of his own division in the Tojo Clan. He has a rough face. Black eyes, slick back hair, and the most notable feature is his scar. He has a noticeably large scar from his nose to his left cheek.
"Have you heard about the recent update from Uncle Kaz?"
"You mean the coup?"
"Yes."
"I have notified the other Captains."
There's also the subplot where mother will be captured by another Tojo Clan captain.
*sigh*
This just keeps getting better and better.

Tojo Clan Headquarters. It's located in the outskirts of Tokyo. Right now we're upon its front gate. It's a massive gate that is 5 meters tall and engraved upon it is a Tojo Clan Logo.
As our car closes in towards the gate, The majestic gate opens as it welcomes us to the clan compound. Kashiwagi parked our car inside the clan compound. We get out of the car, as we do we are greeted by a row of Yakuza, wearing formal suits, bowing towards us. Lining up and making a way for us towards the center of the clan compound.
In the center stood a japanese inspired structure which is wide and tall. It stood imposingly in the middle. As we make our way inside, we are immediately escorted towards a waiting room. Opening the door, I found a beautiful woman wearing a black yukata. That's my mother. Yayoi Dojima. She's surrounded by paperworks and other Tojo clan members.
"Akira, It seems that you've come."
She immediately dismisses the other clan members.
"We'll continue this after the talk with Omi-Alliance."
The room is now cleared and there's only me, my mother, and Izanami.
"Mother, I'm back"
"Welcome home son. And it seems that you've bought someone along with you, please introduce us."
Ah it's not like you haven't read about her.
"Mother, this is Nami Izakaya, Nami this is my Mother."
"It's nice to meet you Mother."
A small smile creeps up to my mother's face.
"It's nice to meet you too Nami-chan."
"Mother, how have you been?"
"Busy. ever since Daigo ran away from his responsibility, and the untimely death of Terada-san, I've been very busy."
Terada san, the traitor of the Tojo Clan. He died at the cermentry shooting earlier this week. From what I know he faked his death. (WN: Chapter 1 shooting) not that anybody here knows though. He faked his death to take control of both Tojo-clan and Omi-Alliance, by manipulating them in the shadows.
On the other hand. Daigo Dojima, my brother, is a good leader. He will soon lead our Tojo Clan. But from the games, Tojo-clan doesn't seem to stand well in the test of time. I hope to change that.
*knock knock knock*
"Come in."
The door opens. It's Uncle Kaz and Daigo-Nii.
"Uncle Kaz, Daigo-Nii."
"Hey there Mother, Akira, and Sister-in-law. It's my pleasure to meet you."
Uncle Kaz, before entering the room, double checks the surrounding area.
"Yayoi-san, the meeting will start in 30 minutes, I will have to ask you to relocate, as I feared this place will soon be a battlefield."
"I understand, It's a shame, it would be better if I could stay and chop down a few bad seeds along with you but it seems like this time I have to listen to you. I can't have my new daughter have this kind of experience after all."
"I got it, you shall be leaving from the back door. But don't worry we have our most trusted captain, and a few more men waiting for you."
Hmmm strange, if mother is not participating, something doesn't make sense. Why would she be here in the first place. I mean we have our own Dojima Family compound which is way more safe. And the other thing is why would she ask me to bring Izanami with me, if she's just going to flee with her. It does not add up.
{"True. it doesn't make sense."}
*knock , knock , knock*
Another set of door knocking came.
In a small voice I ask
"Uncle Kaz, are we expecting someone?"
As he understood what I meant, he gestures toward me that it's ok. He reached towards the door to receive the guest.
As the door opened, I braced myself to do something, but it didn't seem to be necessary, as the one in front of our door was the Omi-Alliance chairman: Jin Goda. Along with an Omi-Alliance attendant which I did not recognize. This is shocking. Why would he be here before the meeting?
When I think what this could possible mean, Goda spoke:
"Good day, Kiryu-san, Dojima-san, and Yayoi-san, you look as beautiful as always"
"Good day Goda-san."
Goda is an old man, in his mid 60s, he has a grandfatherly vibe, he wore a traditional japanese yukata with mute colors, and is sitting on a wheelchair.
"And who is this young lady over here?"
"Akira's bride to be. He found her at Inaba. What do you think about her Goda-san?"
"It's as you say, a splitting image of my lost daughter."
Wait does that mean? Don't tell me.
"It also matches up with your last report, she disappeared last year. Nami Izakami, on the other hand , appears in public record just a month after she disappears."
Wait wait wait
"Izanami Sugihara Goda, do you remember me, your father?"
