10 Chapter 10: Breaking Cannon

# I don't think I'll follow cannon fully, but I'll still follow the general direction.

Second day of school, A lot of things changed, since Yosuke had been acquainted with Yu early. An example would be today. Yosuke should've bumped into a trash bin and Yu would've helped him. But none of that happens today, as when walking towards school today, we met up with Yosuke mid-way.

Class today is boring to put it mildly. But things have gotten interesting since acquiring my Persona. He's lecturning me about management and human progress which is far more interesting than I imagine. Now I'm sure that the Romans are too advanced for their time. I mean his theories and methods are all applicable even in daily life.

"Finally" I can hear Yosuke whining as the final bell of the day rang.

"Hey! Yu, did you know about the midnight Channel?"

Ah here comes the info dump. The midnight channel is originally a mysterious local legend where if it's foggy, during midnight, if you look closely towards your TV, You'll see your so-called soulmate.

But I know better, throughout the game, the midnight channel or the TV World, is a manifestation of a will to reject the truth. And Izanami is supposed to be the source of all the Fog, the Fog itself is the beautiful illusion that is hiding the bitter truth. Those who are stuck in the illusion will forever lose themself. Or in this case, found dead.

Arriving home, I saw Nanako in the living room doing homework.

Isn't she just precious?

"I think I can cook something up real quick. Do you wanna help me ?"

"Sure!"

I spent my time helping nanako with her homework and cooking with Nanako.

I heard a rough voice, uncle Ryo's back huh.

If I remember correctly today is the day Yu will experience the midnight channel. Our room has a small tv.

"Uncle Ryo, Can I borrow your bike for a while? I wanna feel the air tonight."

"Huh? Are you sure you're not doing something suspicious?"

"Never crossed my mind."

I said with the most innocent smile I can muster.

"Hmmmm" He is narrowed his eyes.

He went upstairs, handed me a key, and a wink? As I grabbed the key I noticed what he meant. He actually gave me that protection too huh. Thanks.
