An alarm goes off ... an annoying alarm ... ..... but I don't remember setting an alarm to wake up.

Little by little I regain consciousness and when I am fully awake, I know that something is wrong,

Panic over this strange situation began to flood my mind, and it took me a while to calm down.

Now calm and with a clear mind, I began to think about the possible scenarios of what was happening.

"Let's see, this may be a dream… or maybe I'm hallucinating,"

Those would be the most possible scenarios, but as a veteran comic book reader and lover of reincarnation novels, I knew there were other more fanciful explanations.
