7 Boat ride

Third Person POV

A large whistling sound was heard as a scarlet train came to a screeching stop on a platform. The moment the train stopped, a large number of students ranging from 12 to 18 got off and exited the train and left to another area.

Once the children had left, a large man tall as a post entered the station and called out in a booming voice that echoed the rough the train and the platform.

"First years! First years. Gather round me'"

At the voice, a bunch of 11 year old children got off the train and looked to each other reluctantly but before they could talk between themselves, a boy walked ahead of everyone and to the half giant. His uniform was diffrent from the rest and he carried himself in a way that put the pure bloods to shame.

"

Hello Hagrid. How are you doing? It has been awhile."

"Hello Harr', it felt like just yesterday when you were a little baby that would fit right into my arms."

The man saw the astonished faces of the crowd and realized that he had left the topic.

"

We can talk later. Now first years follow me!"

He raised his arm which held a lantern and walked forward towards what seemed to be an lake covered in mist. The students snapped out from their confusion and followed Hagrid to the boats.

"Four on a boat'. No more."

He exclaimed once again before getting onto one of the boats. The boat almost sunk but barely managed to stay afloat with Hagrid standing on top of it.

This time the attention was grabbed once again by the mysterious boy. He walked onto the boat just behind Hagrid and sat down on it. This action was followed by a girl and a red hair who sat down next to the mystery boy, leaving one spot empty on that boat. They two girls were followed by a brown haired girl with curled hair and big teeth and a book in her hands.

"

See, the boats won't sink. Now 4 on each boat. Come on, Mcgonagall doesn't like lateness"

The rest of the student body sat down in groups of four and started chatting with each other.

Harry POV

I finally sat down on the boat and I was followed by Hannah, Susan and surprisingly Hermione of all people. Hermione didn't even wait for the boats to start moving to start asking me questions.

"Who are you? Where were you on the train? I checked all the compartments and I didn't eee you at all!"

Even Hannah and Susan seemed curious so I answered like a gentleman.

"Well for one, I am Hadrian and I was in the train. You must have passed by my cart in a hurry. After all, I can not expect you to remember each person on a train contains ever single student in an massive school"

The fires of Hermione's curiosity weren't extinguished, no they were actually strengthened by the mysterious boy sitting in front of her.

Even Susan and Hannah were feeling the curiosity however they had the formal etiquette and manners to not ask or be nosy.

"Onwards!!!"

Hagrid said in a booming voice and the boats lurched forwards at an impressive speed for something that looked like it would sink if you put one foot on it.

Even the sudden movement of the boat didn't stop The girls Or Hannah in this case

"What's your last name? Your posture is noble but I have never seen you in any events and I know everybody my age with a noble history."

Susan elbowed Hannah while lightly coughing.

"Sorry about that, Hannah isn't the best at being polite."

"No worries, even I don't have the patience to talk in a noble manner all the time. Also to answer Hannah's question, it's a surprise."

"Surprise?" Hermione and Hannah chorused in a weirdly cute way.

"Yeah, I don't want my family status to affect our relationship. At least until you learn of my backing." I said in a smooth tone.

"But you can't do that! It is against the rules!" Hermione almost shouted.

I just sighed a bit before pulling out a large book out of nowhere. I thrust the book into Hermione's arms.

"This is the school rule book. Tell me where it says that I am obligated to tell my name to a student especially when the information might be sensitive."

"Wait there is a school rule book?" Susan and Hannah asked at the same time.

"Yep. The school never advertised the fact that they have such a book so that they have more leeway with ignorant students."

Hermione had stars in her eyes as she looked at the book in her hands.

"Can I keep this? Or at least borrow it? Please?"

"Sure. I already read through it but give it to me for a second"

"Here." She put the book forward as if asking me to take it, I just smiled and put my hand on it and muttered "germino" and a exact copy of the book appeared in my hands.

"There you can keep it." Susan's and Hannah's jaw dropped to the ground as they saw a sixth year charm being performed wandlessly by a first year.

"Who are you?" They asked as I heard a massive chorus of ooohs. Even with the castle in sights, the girls were looking at me like I had glued their eyes to me.

I just smirked again. I saw that we had reached our destination.

"Well we are here. See you girls later."

I said this as I walked off from the boat and onto the entrance of the castle, walking alongside Hagrid.
