3 5 Months Later

Alex runs through the forest without looking back. Rushing after him is a giant black shadow. A demon. The worst thing that could be after him. "system how much time is on my protection status"

[Beep. 2 minutes left]

"Shit, fuck why is this world so fucking dangerous. why the hell did I think that living off the forest would be cool? Now I'm about to lose my life. Know what, I'm done running away, this "protection" is crap all it does is gives me a restart in exchange for my gifts back.

"Growl" the demon leaps towards Alex and throws a slash at his head. "separating sounds" Alex's head falls side ways as he watches his body drop onto the ground. "Fuck! I died again."

Right after Alex gains his gifts.....

"Growl"

As many people look towards the noise so does Alex, only to see a dragon's fire inches away from him. "I have the gods protection. Ah. I'm invincible!....Aaaaaaah"

[System detected host is died, gods protection actives, respawning at last location in 5,4,3,2,1. Life respawned exchanged for one of your other seven gifts.]

After coming back to life, Alex looks shocked, "wasn't I supposed to be invincible for 5 months?"

To bad the dragon comes back around and kills him again. This ends up happening 5 more times till the dragon leave. Alex looks at his inventory only to see his gold left. Quickly he removes it and run to the human city not too far from him in the north. After storing his gold with the bank there he bought a house cheaply next to the woods. Then quickly brought his living necessities and adventuring supplies.

Skip time to right before the demon found Alex.....

For the past 4 months he has been taking jobs as an adventurer for pocket change. Now the 10 billion gold has almost run out. (Alex learns the hard lesson that buy a night worth of liquor at the city bar for everyone is expensive.) "I must find a good job soon to levitate my stressed finances. Oh, this look easy enough." (Quest Content: Travel to the caves in the east side of the forest. People have been disappearing throughout the region. The village has stopped all forms of contact with the outside world. Please investigate the situation, find the source and report back.) So Alex sets off and soon finds a demon rampaging in the village only to be spotted. As demons are a hard race to kill alone, Alex sets off the run for help.
