Grant stood in front of his old house for a few hours. He didn't have the courage to enter the house. It's a two storey house, his room's windows were facing Bia's room's windows, they used to chat for hours. When they were little, there were times that Bia couldn't sleep and she made him read stories for her. And when she was angry or annoyed with some of her classmates or teachers, she would complain endlessly about them and made him stay by the window so he could lend her his ears. How sweet if he could go back to the past and choose her instead.

Akira was sleeping on the sofa when Bia opened her eyes. She was confused to find herself on the hospital bed. She tried to think about what happened to her. Then Grant's face appeared in her head, that made her shiver. The memory about losing someone precious that connected them made her hugged herself and sobbed.
Akira opened his eyes and found her crying then he came and hugged her.
"Honey, are you in pain. Is it very painful?". He's trying to check if she was hurt anywhere and wiped her tears.
"No, no, I'm fine", she shaked her head.
"That's good, that's good, I'll get something for you to eat, is there anything that you like to eat?".
"I want to go home, can you send me to Kim's house".
"Honey, you are being unfair here. Not only I have to compete with Alex and now do I need to compete with Kim as well? Why can't you stay with me?", he was looking at her with his puppy eyes.
"No".
"Why?"
"Mom and Dad are not at home and Alex will leave tonight, he's going to save the world again. Kim will be happy to have me at her house and we..." Alex is going to country X to join the save and rescue team. The earthquake struck off country X a few days ago and Alex decided to go there.
"Mmmm, you know you can stay at Kim's place as well so you can see me every day". Bia forgot about Grant at the moment and said those words shyly.
"Why not my place? It's easier for me to take care of you in my place, hmmm?" seeing her being shy, made him tease her more.
"Well.... having more people around is better, right?"she said and her face was turning red.
Akira narrowed his eyes and said "Are you scared of me or you are scared of yourself because you won't be able to keep your hands to yourself?". He was poking her cheek.
"Akiraaa!", she hit him with the pillow.
"Hey, you don't have to throw the pillow at me, you can throw yourself instead". Bia hit him harder.
"Hahahaha, I think we can go home now, i can feel you are better already from the punches you gave me and we are going back to my house! No, no, stop arguing, I'll send you to Kim's house tonight after we drop Alex at the airport. So sorry, I can't take care of you tonight because I have work tonight" Akira kissed her before she opened her mouth.
"How nice if I can get the kiss every morning, oh my dream"
"Shameless.. and I'm not a baby, you don't have to take care of me", she rolled her eyes.
"Alright baby, let's go and I'm hungry", before they go home, Akira asked her to change her hospital gown to her clothes whilst he did the discharge process.

Akira's house is ten minutes drive from the hospital.
"Honey, the guest room is ready and just leave the plates there. I'll deal with them later and I want you to rest because I'm going to hit the hay now".
"It's okay Akira, only a few plates", without asking her, Akira swooped her up and carried her the princess style, then went straight to the guest room.
"Akira, put me down this instant".
"Only if you promise me that you will take a rest, oh maybe the idea of hugging you while sleeping is not bad". Akira put her on the bed
"In your dream". Bia was sulking and Akira cupped her cheeks with his hands to make her look at him.
"I'll wait, honey.. don't worry, I love you more than you know", he kissed her forehead gently.
"Please rest honey, if you need anything, just call me. My room is next to this room".
When he was about to leave the room, Bia caught his hand and said "Thank you for everything". He answered her with a peck on her lips and left the room.
