It Takes One To Know One

'I'm so full but it's a waste not to finish them', Bia rubbed her bloated tummy, licked her fingers one by one in slow motion and smacked her lips with her tongue.

"Bia, stop it.. that's enough, people are looking at you.. especially the men, you are sending them wrong message". It was Grant.

"Huh.. who are you and why are you here again? Go away". Bia was surprised to see Grant there. She smacked his hand when he was going to pull out the chair for himself to sit on.

"Don't you dare pull that chair out. Why are you everywhere?", Bia was holding on that chair tightly.

"Don't be childish Bia, do you like me to sit beside you not in front of you?"

"I like you to sit anywhere but here?"

But Grant just ignored her, he just sat in front of Bia. Looking at his actions made Bia mad then she said, "Fine, you can have the table.. I just lost my appetite", she threw the napkin on his face and before she pressed the bell on the table, Grant said "Don't have to thank me, my treat for the broken heart lady".

"I don't need your charity, me? broken heart?", Bia put a couple of hundred dollars bills in front of Grant and she almost shouted at him but she managed to suppress it. Then she made her way to exit the restaurant. She was not sure how long she could keep her hands away from strangling him.

And thanks to the long legs that Grant has, he could catch up to Bia effortlessly and gave the money back to Bia.

"It takes one to know one darling".

"I'm not your darling, not broken heart and stop following me", Bia glared at him and walked faster or it looked like she was running.

"You mustn't run with those heels, bloody result might take place sweetheart.. You do realise that my legs are a little longer than yours so what's the point of running and we are going to the same direction anyway..".

"Whatever Grant, whatever", with that Bia left him and entered the book store and bought a few books. After that she went to many shops and purchased many things. After a while she said, "That's good that you are still here, do me a favour pwill you?", Bia passed all her shopping to Grant who were obediently took them and followed behind her like her

bodyguard.

"Are going to buy more shoes Bia?"

"Yup, I'm going to rescue those gorgeous red pair because they are trap in there and that flats as well.. they are too pretty to stay behind".

"Okay... then let me get them for you Bia, please? just this one".

"No, thanks.. I'm using someone's card till it dries out", yes.. Bia was draining Akira's card to be exact. Akira gave her that card for quite a while already but this was the first time she used it.

After the shopping, Bia drove to one of the famous Bar in the island, it's called RX and Grant was still following behind her. He was worried about her because this Bia was different from back then. The Bia he knew last time, when she was upset, she used to eat until her stomach couldn't take it but no shopping frenzy and the old Bia wouldn't enter a bar, a bar, 'really Bia'.

Before Grant entered the bar, he sent a message to Kim and let her know where Bia was because he was sure that Kim would be looking for her.

Grant was right because at that moment Kim and Akira were looking for Bia. They went to places where they could think Bia would be. Akira had already explained to Kim what happened in the hospital and told Kim about that woman before they started looking for Bia.

They tried calling Bia but her phone was off and they've been looking for her for about three hours but still couldn't find her, not until Kim received Grant's message.

"Unbelievable, this guy still have my number", Kim said.

"One of your suitors princess", Akira teased Kim.

"Eww, no, it's Grant and he knows where Bia is".

"Grant? where? is she alright?", Akira didn't like this progress.

"Hmm, hmm.. he said she's fine, let's go to RX", Kim missed the changes in Akira's expression.

"Okay", with that Akira made a sharp turn and headed south. Akira was happy to know that Bia was okay but he's not happy who she was with. 'Well honey, do you have to take revenge so fast', he thought.

Once, Kim and Akira reached the bar, they spotted Bia and Grant easily.

"Go back, Grant.. I'm sure Nicky is waiting for his daddy", Bia said.

"He's not, Nicky and my mom went to Aunt Ruby's house in the mainland".

"Oh, I met Aunt Ruby a few months back in harvest festival. She's so beautiful as always. Do something else Grant, I want to drink alone, shoo.. shoo", Bia tried to chase Grant away for the hundredth time.

Bia was about to take another sip of her drink but someone snatched her drink so she shouted, "Hey..". And she was surprised to see that person.

"Oh... who do we have here? Did you finish giving the full check up on your special patient?", Bia asked Akira and snatched her drink back and finished it in one go.

"Slow down honey, don't drink too fast", Akira said.

At that moment Kim pulled Grant away from Bia and Akira and surprisingly Grant just followed her. They went to the second floor, took the corner booth where they still could see Bia and Akira.

"Thanks for the message and for the record I still hate you very very much", Kim said to Grant.

"You're welcome and I know. Ehmm, since when did Bia drink too much of alcohol?"

"Since someone left her at the altar", Kim wanted to say more but she just shut her mouth. Hearing Kim's words made Grant speechless and he added that to his long list of bad things he did to Bia.

Back to Bia and Akira, Bia was giving Akira the cold shoulder.

"Honey, please look at me and talk to me, please", Grant also was hoping Bia stopped drinking.

"Can you stop talking and why can't anyone leave me alone today? Akira don't drink up my drink again. Go get your own drink", Bia was so frustrated and she just wanted to be alone tonight.

"Let's go home honey, if you want we continue drinking at home, okay?".

"Go find your real honey, the one you kissed in your clinic".

"I didn't, she kissed me forcefully".

"Ya, right and you seem to enjoy it".

"I didn't, I pushed her away".

"You should kicked her not pushed", Bia punched Akira's tummy.

"But man can't hit a woman honey, you should kicked her because I couldn't..", he said that while rubbing Bia's red right hand, it became red after punching him and the table.

"Did she kissed you again after I left?", Bia looked at him with her puppy eyes and gave him her left hand too for him to rub, even though it was not red.

"No, she didn't. I left her to search for you. Honey, don't switch off your phone when you are mad at me again, please..".

"I can't promise that but I tried".

"Are you still angry, honey? I will never hurt you, I will never cheat you, I'm crazy about you".

"I know your feelings for me but I'm still mad because you kissed that woman or she kissed you, anyway the pain is still the same. I drank so much but still I'm not drunk and my heart is still hurt. So, she's nobody right? Akira?", Bia put her head on Akira shoulder and she said again.

"Remember what I told you last time that you are not allowed to leave me and only me doing the leaving. Even when you are tired of me, you need to wait until I'm tired of you too and leave you".

Akira kissed her hand and said, "I won't get tired of you and that woman is the woman my grandma sent here to tear us apart". Hearing that made Bia jumped.

"What! so, your grandma was serious when she told me that she hates me. I thought she was joking because she said it with the sweetest smile of her face. Did that woman kissed you here?", Bia touched Akira lips and all Akira could do was nodding his head.

Next Bia said, "So, I need to erase that", Bia touched Akira's cheeks, bring her face closer to him and kissed him. When Bia was about to end the kiss, Akira pulled her closer and kissed her more until she couldn't breathe.

"I need air, it's hot in here", Bia was fanning herself.

"Let's go home, honey". A nod that's all Bia gave Akira. Akira left the bar with Bia in his arms.

On the second floor, Grant and Kim didn't miss anything, their eyes were on the lovely couple.

"What", Grant couldn't believe his eyes and couldn't utter more words.

"Aww... they are so sweet.. more drinks Grant?", Kim asked.

"Why not", Grant answered angrily.
