20 Chapter 19

Winter felt like her whole body was on fire, she tried to stand up to go to the bathroom but she fell on the floor.

She clutches her lower belly and curled on the floor. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead and neck, she bit her lip to help herself stay sane. She wants to strip her clothes so badly, she started to have hallucinations. She wants to see Dark so badly, she wants to feel his skin against hers. She wants to hold him like her life depends on it.

Winter closed her eyes, she felt like she already turned insane.

' thud ' ' thud ' ' thud '

A heavy stride was heard outside her room then...

'BANG'

The door was open forcefully. Dark was anxious. His eyes surveyed her room but she didn't found her on the bed.

Her pheromones was so strong in the room, but right now, he only wants to find her.

He went near the bed and saw a woman curled on the floor, her face tinted red and her forehead full of sweat.

He bit his lip and went near her, her hair disheveled and strands of her covered her face. He tucked her hair on her ears, and carried her on the bed.

Her eyes opened and saw Dark, she could also smell him. This made her calm down a bit.

After settling her on the bed, he went to the bathroom and filled the tub with cold water. He tested the temperature but still felt it isn't enough. He went out and was going out of the room when she spoke.

Seeing him coming out of the bathroom and walking out of her room, she started to panic. Her breathing quickened and she became anxious. Her lips trembled and felt like her last hope is gone... Just like that, he really doesn't want me...

" w-w-wait... Don't... do-don't leave me... " she tried to reach the man who's walking away from her.

Seeing her like this, begging him, his heart ached. The woman who's always so carefree, and has a smile on her lips is know full of pain begging him.

He went to her and holds her hand, he embraced her, he's been neglecting her this past few days because of some reasons.

She clutches his cloth, afraid he'll disappear. Her tears that she's been holding up escaped her eyes, she buried her head on his chest and cried.

" shhh, I won't leave... I won't... " he hugged her tighter and kissed her head. He linked her sister to get some ice and bring it to Winter's room, she's a girls so it would be fine.

This woman, the first time he saw her on that falls, he already fell for her. Love at first sight like her sister says it, his whole life was buried in work but because of her.... Another goal lighted it's way. Beside serving his pack, working night and day, his life was all gray but a tinge of a beautiful color blossomed. Like everything his doing has a reason.

He wants everything to be special, he doesn't want to just mark her, he wants to propose to her and like every step to be memorable.
