16 Smoke

Her eyes were closed, which were red from anger just a moment earlier .The expression of innocence covered all her face .Her body was lying there on the soft white sheet and she slept like an abandoned baby. Wasn't it strange ,who could ever imagine a vampire sleeping like an angel. For a moment even  Hyun stood staring her sleeping face .He doesn't know why he smiled while staring .He kept of smiling and took steps close to her and when he reached the maximum close distance he could ,his hand automatically moved forward to touch her . But as soon as his hands got close to her face , Shellina's hand out of a sudden grabbed his hand tightly and her closed pupils went open .It was so sudden that Soo Hyun couldn't understand what happened .

"Oh ! It was you !" Shellina sighed and sat along the bedside ."I thought there was someone ~"

" To harm you !" interrupted Soo Hyun as if he had known her from years .Her eyes widened but the then squeezed and she gave the expression of yah with a sigh .

"So how's your ankle ?"

"It was totally fine "she said , although she knew it wasn't.

"Do you need anything ?"

"Why ,did your Mia you left behind and went to some other man, that you have finally got the time for me ."she again gave a sarcastic remark. Know it or not giving sarcastic remark has become like a hobby of Shellina and as for Soo Hyun its a small little thing which he has become used to now .

Soo Hyun smiled and replied as quick as he could to avoid any further sarcastic remarks.

" No I was just thinking that you might be bored here alone ,so i just came back " .

She went silent for a moment but the immediately  replied "Oh really ,how great of you ...but let me tell you I am not bored ,you can just rest assured and if you want to go back you can ".What else could she have said .For what and why she would ever ask him to stay ,he was not is lover , boyfriend or husband and why would even normal employee who could have hate her stayed even if she ask to .

So Hyun again smiled and said  "no I fine with you "

"Why she seriously left you ?...let me see her " Shellina said in anger and pulled his legs towards the side of the bed "

"No.. no ,it was me who left her" Shellina glared."I  mean I was kinda getting bored plus I was somewhat worried about you, so…"

Shellina's eyes again went wide and again squeezed as if she hadn't thought of this reply . Shellina has always been the centre of hatred at the company . Employees think of her as a devil and even cracked jokes on her But being a vampire means you can even hear the sound of a cockroach walking .She could hear everything thing but never mentioned .It was not something new .

But before she could actually say something ,the lights went out . Darkness fell all over the room . Shellina's eyes shone like a diamond. There might be some problems thought both and couldn't make out what to do next.Soo Hyun went near the door and tried to open it but couldn't ,it looked like someone had locked it from the outside .Just a moment later ,a layer of smoke started spreading in the room which made their mind half conscious .It was like they have given an extra unbearable dose of alcohol in the middle of the night .Their eyes started to close down . Every effort they made to stay alert didn't seem to work and at the end they both feel down on the ground senseless.
