Come in
I was waiting anxiously with the other girls at the; what should I call it, counter or reception. The word lobby would be best to describe where I was. How I got here, I myself can't explain. All I knew was that I came here to achieve a mission.
That mission wasn't very clear to me, all I knew was that I was here to seduce the Duke. This Duke was whom everyone referred to as the devil, why my mother sent me on a death errand is a mystery. She sure has a lot to explain.
The girl we've all been waiting for came out to where the rest of us stood. Yeah, we were on our feet. The expression on her face clearly showed that she failed whatever mission she came here for. She was wearing a golden underwear revealing her private part a little, it was visible through the golden net-like top she wore. The net-like top was made of stones which made it glow with every movement she made. Beneath, she was also wearing the same golden net-like cloth but it was now serving as a long skirt. The net-like skirt was transparent just like the top so it made everything she wore under visible.
To me, what she wore is not as bad as what I'm wearing. I wonder what kind of man would be able to reprove such beautiful lady. I mean she was looking eye-catching with the cloths and stuffs. 'Well only one of a kind would do', I thought to myself.
"Young lady, your turn now." The voice of a man woke me up from my stupor. I turned to look at him to be sure he was referring to me.
"It is your turn now to go in, young lady." He repeated.
The moment I knew he was referring to me, my heart skipped a beat and it started beating faster than usual. 'What! It was beating normal just now.' I thought to myself.
'Why beat this loud when I need to appear confident.' I held my chest at the thought of this.
The man noticed my behavior and smiled.
"Please, come young lady." Saying this, he directed me to the room where I am to meet the Duke. Each step I took increased the rate of my heartbeat. I was nervous and at the same time scared. I have never done this before infact, I had never worn this kind of cloth I am wearing now, how my mother gave me this cloth to wear and brought me to this place is still an enigma. I came from a family where decency is a priority for every lady. So wearing this kind of cloth also given by my mother who is most persistent on the kind of clothes I wore is something mysterious.
"We are here, Young lady." The man said and left without waiting for my reply. I kept looking at his retreating back and looked at the mighty door before me. My heart was beating fast and loud that anyone next to me could hear the sound.
I wanted to knock but forgot how to. I kept looking at the door till I summoned courage from an unknown origin and knocked on the door.
"Thump, thump." I knocked, my knock was lame but was loud enough for the person inside to hear.
"Come in."
