The Beginning

The sound of knocking of door rang through my ears until I woke up,out of nowhere(it seemed to me that way)my mom yelled at me

"Wake up you sleepy brat,you are seriously late now,Go take a bath and dress yourself for school."

Though my mom might sound quite abusive but she is very kind hearted and yeah also very strict.

I sprang of from my bed,brushed my teeth and had a bath.Now I was in a hurry to put my books in bag and now I was racing down the stairs.

I had forgotten to do my Maths Homework and the thought of Mr.Smith scolding me was quite disturbing.

"I'll manage somehow",I relieved myself.

Oh,I remember.I didn't introduce myself.I am Fred,around 16 years old and have nothing special in myself.From my childhood to the present,i have always chosen to be an introvert and be happy in my own small room,which I call "Daniel" out of my affection for it.Though,I do attend school so as not be called a super shut in but school has nothing special and is just a place for me get bullied.

As I raced my way downstairs,I took a look at watch and sighed a relief.I managed to get my prepared on time.

Made my way through the room and sat onto one chair of the dining table,my mom brought me some toast and 2 boiled eggs.My dad was busy reading newspaper and commenting on every single damn thing.

As I started myself on a toast,I heard some footsteps approaching and I was sure who it was.

"THE STAR OF THE SCHOOL" aka my elder brother.

He was the exact opposite of me,He had a quite good social repuatation,has many friends,has a magnificent academic and sports performances and is the captain of the school football team.He is the definition of ideal school going student.People can't believe that we are siblings.

I am not jealous or anything of him but it irks me to be called as Adam's Brother rather than be called Fred.I want to shout that even I have a name and you gotta call me by that but I don't protest because I don't want to get involved in anything.

So,having finished my breakfast finally I picked up my bag and now it was time to leave.

I said Bye to everyone and started lacing up my shoes and opened the door.The sun was shining brightly like always.School wasn't too far from house so I am used to walk the distance.I had no friends so it's quite boring until I come back home.

--After 15 Minutes--

So here we are at the school.I took the last bench by the window and started gazing outside.I don't feel like studying any day and just study enough to pass the class without any problems.

Four periods have passed and I managed to get through it without any problems.Now it's time for lunch break.

Lunch Break went smootly.I bought a burger and a can of juice for the lunch and now it was time to return to the class.

Nothing better happened,I just sat idly at my seat the whole day.Now it's time to return back to home.

So now I am on the way again.I am feeling bored but I am used to it.

*BOOM*

A loud noise that almost felt as of it ruptured my eardrums.

"What the hell",I saw blood on my shirtwhich dripped from my ears.

*SCREECH BOOM BOOM SCREECH*

The noises were continously coming through,I looked around and everyone was in the same pain as I was going through.My eyes started to close on their own.

I Lost Consciousness

"Uhh,What the hell."I muttered.

"Why is it so dark,is it night already but where are the street lights"

There was a pole nearby and had a light on it,I somehow dragged myself and turned the light on.

What I saw was beyind comprehension.Corpses of the people were everywhere.Somehow I reached home.But everyone was dead and had blood coming out their ears.

I was shocked,words left my mouth and I jist sat there as if I was dead.I cried my heart out and somehow and fall asleep.

I woke up but not on my own but someone woke me up.

It was a little creature,a sort of mixture of a human and a bear and it was capable of speaking human language.He grabbed my hand and in a matter of seconds we were in space.I still didn't knew what was going on.
