Lies

I have been lied too, my entire life.

By those that I've trusted.

From the people that I truly cared about.

So, why would they deceive me

When I put all my trust into them?

I've been told that they would never hurt,

betray, or push me away.

They've told me so many things.

And had me believing them.

But truth is they never follow through with their words.

And that makes me have a hard time trusting now.

Because I've been told so many lies.
