She was startled out of her reverie by Drake's voice, "Come," and she hurried to follow him.

Drake held her hand and guided her through a small pathway that took them toward the cottage.

"Are we here to meet someone?" Reluctant to suppress her curiosity for very long, Julianna asked.

"Yes," Drake answered, maintaining a forward gaze, and the door opened shortly after.

Fearfully, Julianna leaped into Drake's arms and shot a terrified look at the middle-aged man.

"Oh, you are finally here." Tate smiled, glancing at his son, who had returned, this time not by himself, at his door.

"We have another guest," he said, glancing at the girl who was with Drake.

Drake gave his father a severe glare and disregarded him, asking, "Are you going to make us wait outside?"
