8 Chapter 7 Regretful Strategies

Days passed and Volca wondered whether her mother has been testing her or something, saying she would send people to school. They did not show and she kept distance with Aqua trying to attach herself like leech towards Huo'er following him everywhere. And he always ignored worried that Aqua might be watching him going around Volca. He was afraid that Aqua wouldn't open up to him since Volca is her best friend. And it indeed was true.

And one finally, the ninjas showed up. Volca felt excited for something that was pure evil. She then realised that her demonic cultivation and her Demoness heart has always existed inside her since she didn't nurture it, and in the end it showed itself. Volca realised she has been cheating herself, not eving true to her true self. She decided to embrace herself more than she should do others. She looked at Aqua has been getting attacked and saw how Jin Mi the fellow student and another one ran away while Ash tried to protect Aqua. Volca fought a little and then slowly took off.

She hid herself for sometime and then watched Aqua running for Shifu. She was blasted off and punished asking her to wander in the woods for a day. Listening to that, Volca's heart danced and she stayed inside the accommodation for a whole day and slept well finally.

She realized it was a mistake later. When she went to the banquet hall for breakfast the rumours were about how Aqua was wrongly punished for attacking people who tried to kill her and how Huo went chase Aqua from spending the week in the woods. She didn't know that Huo left school for Aqua. All sorts of thoughts started going around her head imagining all possible things that could have happened between them. Especially when Aqua was wounded and weak while Huo was full of care and worry. She worried about them getting closer. Volca kept the glass of water down with force that the porcelain broke into pieces and also hurt her palms. The water spilled everywhere and on her robes. She cursed herself and got up from the floor leaving the food behind. Everybody looked at her in wonder, seeing the playful girl turning all red with anger and causing a distraction.

She went straight to her mother and shouted alot. She blamed her mother for a long time and realized how bold she could be with her mother. "If you didn't convince me to play along with this rotten idea nothing could have gone wrong, now the ninjas are dead, people will investigate and we will be doomed, and you paved a way for the Demon Prince to attach himself to the Water Princess.
