30 Chapter 29 Demoness in Showbiz

"I can't move my legs," she was sure of that, feeling hyper tensed. They gave her a script to familiarise with the shoot but she worried and worried. Tension made her go numb and become and extreme introvert.

Shooting went on for five hours straight. The first two hours were slow, boring and very tight, but then baking put her at ease and carried her to her own world. Volca was no longer stiff and she spoke naturally without hesitations improvising the script and the staff started liking it. The atmosphere turned light and festive. She started interacting.

By 5 in the evening, the shooting ended and Volca was asked to change clothes for the photoshoot that has to be released along. She was taken to the dressing room and asked to choose from the line of clothes hung around for the shoot. Since she had no clue and sense of fashion, she asked the make up artist to do it for her and she gladly accepted Volca's requests.

An hour later, a girl wearing a grey plaid skirt and off white blouse with frill, along with plaid jacket over top, and matching black boots walked out of the room, with her hair curled in the ends and put in the front. She has a very light make up and coral shade of lipstick applied that made her look irresistible. Looking professional and hot. Her bronze eyes were gleaming while her heart kept pounding loud.

She walked back to the kitchen and all the heads turned towards her. Breathing taking and too pretty to take their eyes. Volca hid her smile trying to keep it together slowly beginning to enjoy the attention she was getting. She walked boldly with her heads held high, as her tension left her body,"

"Ms. Hara," a man in his mid thirties approached her. He was holding a pen and a notepad. He looked appealing in his formal black tailored suit. "Am Linyi, we will doing the interview together," he said.

"That's great," Volca said and smiled at him. The photoshoot began where she was asked to look at the camera, smile, do something in the kitchen, hold a cake, taste a slice of cake, lick her finger, enjoy her food and all sort of poses and she did them all as she waz shown some examples along. She did them well. Two hours later they wrapped up the shoot and sat down for the interview.

Linyi sat next to her in the studio they set up with sofas and tea table served with coffee and water.

"Tell us your story, how you started with this amazing baking business,"

Volca smiled at first looking down at her hands rested on her lap.

"I don't have a long story to fell, but," Volca looked ar Linyi and the camera. She took a deep breath. "Infact i don't have anything except my condition,"

As Linyi asked her more, Volca opened up about the accident, the long hospital days and finding a loving family, talking about Jiah and Nanna who supported her.

"That's so emotional and heart breaking, the story behind the success," Linyi empathized. "So will the memories won't come back?"

"Am trying but I have made peace with it, i don't care about the past now, am enjoying my present," She said smiling wide. "Am very happy with everything I have now, my new family, the place, my business, am glad, what more do i need ? i mean if i had somebody i surely would have been searched around by them, but i guess my past was not that good," she said confidently knowing well how nobody would come claiming to be her guardian, and tried joking along, laughing as she spoke.

"That's a great spirit you have Hara, it's wonderful, women should be strong like you to start from scrap after going through such a traumatic experience,"

"It's not in our hands, and it depends on people, but I hope everybody can grow strong each day in their lives, I can assure you, whatever you are going through right now is not the end, we have many doors to open, paths to build, pits to dig, we should leave our mark in the history, at least one person should remember who we used to be," Volca made an inspiring comment to the viewers. "For a person like me, it is important to have memories, for others."

And they wrapped the interview along. "It was really great to know about you our sensational homebaker, and to spend time with you, wishing you all the success in the blossoming career," Linyi concluded. Volca smiled and shook hands with him.

"Thank you," She said.

The crew started packing things and paid everyone. The work was over and everybody was glad to return home. So was Volca. But before she returned the director made another suggestion to her, to do one more show on setting a dessert table by recording a days or two's worth preparation while she takes an order next time to air on Television as a special programme to encourage strat ups. Volca kept quiet saying she will think about it and bid farewell with the crew. She didn't want to think of work for the night.

Volca changed back to her cherry red dress and met Jiah outisde the studio reading something. She ran towards her and thanked Jiah alot for helping her and riding with her. It was almost 9 at night.

"We have come here anyway, why don't I take some time to visit my son," The university is close to the station we are in now," Jiah suggested. "He came home to complete some project, couple of months before you came to our place, but he left in the middle in a hurry since his professor called back, he will graduate soon, he has promised to come back home, it beens five years since he left home to the city, Auran, he is doing architecture major and doing a photography course along," Jiah went on talking about her only precious 24 year old son.

Coming to the city from the Bara village is a hustle but then they did not want to miss the opportunity going around the city since this was also Volca's first time coming to the city. Jiah decided to stay for the day and spend the next whole day in the city going around places with Volca before they returned home.
