28 Chapter 27 Surprises

There will always a place that you would love forever in your life. Not because it is just beautiful but also because it comforted you in a way nothing else did when you needed it the most.

Bara district known for it's physical feature and landscape was also very famous for tourism and for rehabilitation centers, retreats and fish, animal husbandry, farming and cottage industries. The local government do not allow investments inside the district except for the locals to develop business. Hence every business, agencies, and major shops were all run by the locals itself making their own land rich and very productive.

That included the hospital and various health centres in the Silent spring valley too. The street vendors in the west village beach make a lot of money by selling self made handicrafts that attracts the tourists. Bara village has it own culture and trend setting. The people were forward enough but the touch of being rural never faded away still holding on to their roots. They prayed for the Earth God and Water God, and when Volca came to know about this, she couldn't believe it. And she realized the dangers she could face when her real identity leaks, born in hell, as a Demoness, she felt cold, chilling through her bones when she thought about it and decided to be very very careful about her nature. For a moment she was glad that her inside as been battered and lost the energy for cultivation.

Since the place is too popular, it had it's own merits and demerits. With critics and bloggers flowing in and out of the village, the news about Bara was always on channels. And this time somebody had luck or to say someone's life changed with a single review.

When the cakes and dessert tables began to be popular around the village, orders were bulked and Volca got a helper and expanded her business. She took more of ceremony orders than conduct weekend sales since it was more profitable. Purple Cakes was famous, infact got way famous because a review by one food blogger which brought her new opportunities.

Volca's confusion she cried about to Jiah was solved by her choices itself though she was scared of every step she took forward.

The food review attracted foodies and so much orders were made. Also tourists asking for trials. For the first time in the whole year since her powers disappeared she wished for them to return back, unable to handle work. Her fame in town couldn't be measured. Every household could spell her brand and give a five star review for her work.

"Jiah, I will need to hire more people," Volca said one day. "I really cannot handle it now, I need to more workers and the house won't do anymore, I need a workshop," she said.

"Does your bank balance allow that?" Jiah asked only this one question. "If you're short let me know,"

"Am not short of it for now,"

"A new place includes interiors and new equipments that is necessary for a business and something that is popular like yours needs all of it strictly.

"Then let us look into, we should do something about it," Volca said.

"That's great,"

"One more thing," she Volca said before Jiah left her room.

"What is it Hara?" Jiah raised brows.

"I got an opportunity to be on Television," Volca said.

"What?" Jiah was shocked.

"I was asked to appear on a cooking show for Christmas, to do bake types of cakes to prepare at home, a one and half hour show, pre-reco it will be, What should I say?" Volca asked Jiah for her opinion.

"Oh my god, say yes Hara, the more your income is you can hire people and run a proper bakery here," Jiah advised her. "Take it, it will a great exposure and opportunity for you to expand your talent. But Volca was afraid of expanding her circle as Jiah said, afraid they she might end up revealing her identity. She didn't wish to be get caught at all. She didn't want the world to know the trace of a demon in her. She worried all day and all night about it.
