15 Chapter 14

Everything looked faded and white. The vision, it was unclear and her head hurt like it has been hit with something heavy. Her body felt too light and almost dead without her power. The body ached all over. And tears continuously kept streaming down her face. She felt hurt, physically and mentally. The memories haunted her. And she chose to stop thinking about them. She didn't want to think about any further that was even more hurtful than this. She wanted to open her eyes, and move. But her body failed to coordinate. She couldn't understand why. She forced herself but it only hurt her head more. She could sense somebody inside the chamber along with her. She could sense something being fed to her and it sliding down her throat. Something bitter and solid like a pill. She wondered what it could be.

Volca tried to get but she could feel the broken ribs, the bone in her legs and arms all broken. And when the pain killers wore off, the horrendous pain conquered her body, killing her inch by inch. All she could move was her fingers. She gripped on to the sheets she was lying on tightly and moved her toes a little. And then she heard footsteps approaching her. She heard whispers and rush, some things clinging and somebody touching her arms.

"Can you hear me? Hey," somebody asked her slowly. "Hey,"

"Yes I can hell hear you, tell me what is wrong me? Why can I not move even a little?" She screamed inside her head but nothing came out of her mouth. She started panicking which eventually led to anxiety that caused breathing trouble. "What is going on?" she kept asking herself trying to help herself. "Ak I dead or something? Why can I not see nor move?" she kept questioning herself.

"Quickly, give her the oxygen mask, and give more IV, it is necessary, make sure she doesn't move and hurt her broken arms, legs and especially the rib are, make sure the medicines and shots are given on time, she should make it fast," Volca heard someone giving another one full if instructions.

Volca at first did not understand about what was going on with the people and talking about foreign things that she had never heard before. "Oxygen mask, IV? What are these? What are called shots?" then she felt a needle entering her body from her harm and she did respond back a little, flinching. "Ouch," she said but nobody could hear her.

"Do you think she will end up being paralysed?" a man's voice asked another.

"I hope not, but look who would want to attack a girl like this? Should we report this case to cops? he wondered.

"Report what? What paralysed, I know what it means, I really don't want to be, but yes why would I be, what is wrong with? She said getting a little scared and started attempting more to move and stand on her legs.
