14 Chapter 13 The Shocking

Storms kill. They are meant to. But we can surpass them. Or avert them. But how? If you have the power to control the storm, would you choose to kill or save people? Or would you become the storm itself to capture what you want and fly away with it?

Volca waited for Huo to exit the Celestial Palace. But unfortunately she found him leaving with his mother along with him. This time she followed him close into the woods to a palace she was least familiar with.

He went into a forest. Green and thick. He walked towards the river banks through the woods easily knowing his way around with his mother. But before him stood her. Aqua. Looking too pale and tired. Something looked wrong with her. Something fishy. Something serious. Volca watched her running towards Huo. He hugged her and let her go since his mother was watching them.

Empress stood there smiling at first. She looked tensed though. They continued their conversation and Volca stood hearing them all, trying to know the situation better before she took action, but Celestial Crown Prince Aaron was no longer patient to the couples carrying on with their work. He walked forward entering the river banks, interrupting them.

"There, there," he said walking towards them, with an evil smile pasted on his face. "Enough of that lovey dovey chat with my fiance Huo'er," he said shaking his head. Huo clenched his fist. "Mother," he called the Empress who stood there looking worried caught up between both her sons. She tried to come with way to calm them down. "Why don't we return back home? Father is waiting for you he said. But Huo reacted back. The heated conversation led one thing to another. And Aaron hurt his mother comparing himself to Huo who Empress gave more importance too. Aaron was disappointed and upset to know he is a step less, and powerless in front of Huo'er's. Anger made him lead the troops to attach Huo. When Empress tried her best to stop the fight, Aqua involved herself in the war brought her Water Army.

To keep Aqua away from the battle ground, Volca started fighting with her ex best friend. To her Aqua did not look well enough for fighting a battle. But Aqua was ruthless anyway. The mixed martial skills, her magic skills, her crystal powers, the unique power of the water princess, she put them all out like her life was on line. She didn't care how tired she she felt but gave her all to the fight not caring about who was opposite her. Volca only defended and did not choose to attack back. She didn't have the courage to do so. To beat her powers. She often checked Huo'er's status and saw he was winning the dual with Aaron and saw how the Water Realm including the King and Queen along with their second daughter Princess Milan and Grand Prince fought well as a family having each other's back. Volca envied them the most. She then looked at Aqua but at the same time, in a matter of second's distraction, Volca was stabbed right at her shoulders. Aqua inserted her sword the Volca and took them back.

"Damn it Aqua," Volca said in pain. "Arrgghh,"

"I kept telling you, did I not?" Aqua asked her. "Tell me why would you do this to us?"

Volca knelt down in pain and took the blade out cutting her palms along. She did not want to answer Aqua back. Aqua withdrew her sword and stood looking at her. But she started bleeding all of a sudden. Aqua looked down at her body then, letting out her breath feeling something inside her. She started bleeding from her abdomen and through her mouth, spitting the blood. Her gown turned red in a minute and Volca screamed loud enough for everyone to stop fighting and look at their direction. And everybody did. Aqua struggled to stand on her legs. And fell down looking at Volca with full if regrets and pain.

"No no, Aqua, no, no please, please don't die. Aqua, no," she kept screaming until her throat hurt. Her cold heart melted when she saw her best friend dropping dead. She tried to reach for Aqua and touched her fingers who was on her knees with her hands on her belly, cradling her small bump. Volca looked at her belly and her voice. Then she looked at the culprit who did it. It was none other that her own mother, Fiona. Fiona stood there holding the Demon clan's treasure, that has the power to rip thr soul of a god. The toxic dagger.

Volca looked at Huo as he stopped fighting and ran towards Aqua taking her in his arms sitting next to her crying. He screamed his lungs out while others stood watching the two.

Then next moment she saw a sword getting through Huo'er's heart just like her mother killed Aqua and he spit the blood looking at his beloved, he was smiling at her as she touched his face. "Live for me, live," she said.

Aaron killed his own half brother and Grand Prince cut the head off Aaron's body without mercy avenging for Aqua and Huo. Empress stood there watching both her sons facing the worst end at the same time and collapsed down. But the only thing Volca saw at that time was Aqua's face. It ached her. It killed Volca to see her disappearing into thin air. She regretted. She did. She felt guilty of killing the unborn baby of Huo and Aqua all along. Volca had wronged everyone. Volca went crazy seeing the people she still loved die. She did not expect her plans to get Huo get them killed in the end. If she had known she would have never supported her mother nor agreed the plan to join the school in the first place. As Aqua took her final breath, Fiona took her daughter's hand and left the place.
