REMINISCENCE

There was hardly any air to breathe. A murderous aura was captivating the room. Sitting on his golden arm chair Kim Seo joon was slowly sipping a century old wine.

"Who is it?" he asked in a deep calm voice.

"Its Star King President" Gong Joon-ki replied standing next to him. Kim seo joon's eyes became more fierce with bloodlust, his muscles tightned with anger. "Destroy them." It was two simple words that decided the fate of the so called Star King Entertainment.

"No president, we should focus upon the Young miss. Let her recovery first. Its important to hear her side of the story before we make any move, you know very well she hates it when you take decisions on her behalf about her life." Gong Joon-ki voiced his opinion. He has always been more calculative in personal matters like this compared to the President. Patriarch Kim had assigned him as the President's Personal Assistant ever since the early days of Seo Joon's debut as the CEO.

Joon ki and Seo joon share the same birth year and have been sticking together as best buddies since the days of their childhood. Joon ki's family has been serving the Kims for generations. He has been with the President through ups and downs like a Pillar. Yerin was like a daughter to him. whenever she needs something or wants something done that her father doesn't approve, Joon ki will come to her rescue. From sneaking out of the house to watch a movie or coming back home late at night Gong Joon-ki will support her being a partner in crime. He can always remember the days she used to scream out loud running through the house after him calling "uncle uncle!!" for chocolates and ice creams.

Seeing her lying on the road that day covered in blood his heart ached in pain. She was the doting young miss of the Kim household anyone who dare point a finger on her will be ruined within a blink of eye yet someone dared and managed to go so far. Death was awaiting, each one of them who dared to lay their hands on her.

"Ouch" Kim Seo joon and joon - ki turned their heads and saw the sudden breakdown of a vase. Joon Ki hurried towards her and helped her get up. She looked towards Seo joon with an anxious expression and said "Darling! our Yerin is awake now, I got a call from the hospital hurry! lets go" Without wasting another minute they rushed to the hospital.

There in the dark hospital room Yerin was lying, continuously staring at the ceiling with a blank expression.

Kim Ji- yeon hugged her daughter and cried

"My baby, tell me who is it? who did this to you? tell daddy what happened and we will end each one of them."

Yerin didn't even looked at her once and kept on staring at the ceiling silently. A nurse came in and bowed "Sorry madam Kim but she hasn't uttered a single word since the moment she woke up" Kim seo joon came forward and patted her head. His eyes Turning red and helpless "Yerin please say something we can't see you like this child you don't have to be afraid just say something"

she did not reply. Two days passed, they tried every possible way to talk to her but she refused to say anything.

On the third day Gong Joon ki visited her alone. He sneaked into her room and saw her struggling to get a glass of water "Yerin !" he ran towards her and helped. "You should have called a Nurse" He sat down on the bed beside her and spoke in a soft voice" Everyone close to you is unhappy watching you like this. I understand that you have gone through a shock but atleast try. If you don't let the things come out then its going to Hurt you more, remember I am your secret keeper and partner in crime, talk to me your uncle is waiting for you" her cold expression changed a little, a bit of colour returned to her face. Gong Joon-ki noticed the change and tried harder" where were you for the last one month? you left Star King and just disappeared like that? why didn't you contact us? the last time we traced you, you were living in a hotel in L.A"

The Doctor rushed in holding a file of her reports. Gong Joon-ki looked up at his anxious and eager expression and said "Spit it out whatever it is" The doctor bowed and said "Mr Gong yesterday after confirming some tests it is revealed that Miss Kim is Pregnant"

"what?" Gong Joon-ki was shocked. He collected his expression and asked "are you sure?"

"yes Mr. Gong, I am sure" the doctor replied politely. Gong Joon-ki turned towards Kim yerin and witnessed the torned expression on her face.

"leave us alone."

The doctor disappeared as soon as he heard him. Tears started flowing out of her eyes she grabbed into her uncle's hand and cried her heart out. All the reminiscences of her past coming back to life. How often do you see dreams come true? you feeling the seven colours of the rainbow and believing in every Fairy tale that exists. Suddenly you become immune to reality as if life could never have been better but darkness do creeps in and you feel the beautiful Illusion diminish in the harsh reality. your perfect world becomes too imperfect in everyway possible.
