44 Epilogue II

~ 2047 ~

"That's your love story?!" Park Julia exclaims, her dark brown monolid cat eyes widening and pink plump lips parting open.

"That's so AWESOME!" Park Milo claps his chubby hands showing his newly growing tooth.

Park Jimin and Park Mia huddle right in the middle of the porcelain white couch watching their kids' expressions after they finished reciting their notorious love story. Both of them have huge smiles on their faces satisfied with how their life came so far and reflecting upon them made them adore each other even more.

Jimin has his wife's head on his built chest and his arms around her petite waist, pulling her even closer. Mia enjoyed her husband's warmth leaning towards his touch and the lovely gesture of rubbing circles on her exposed shoulder. Aren't they just made for each other?!

They thought about their old days when they met in that distant field, how they took time to get to know each other, how they fell in love, how they confessed, how they fought everything together holding each other's hands, knotting tyes by marrying each other than about how their life bloomed again after their precious assets sitting in front of them were born.

It was a long journey indeed.

"Like seriously?!" Julia exclaimed again, bewildered.

"Yes," Mia confirmed. "That's our story"

"It was so beautiful and romantic, mom and dad," Milo jumps up from his spot excitedly, throwing his hands around the air, the kid's ebony eyes twinkling, "Dad was even a ghost!" he runs towards his still smiling dad. "How did it feel? Wait, do you actually feel anything besides mom?"

Jimin's crescent eyes land on his jubilant son in front of him before pulling him to his lap.

"Isn't it enough?" Jimin's eyes gleam with a ridicule teasing smirk. "Feeling your mom?"

Mia playfully hits his shoulder while her husband's melodic laughter fills their huge living room.

"I don't believe it," Julia states crossing her arms over her chest, pink chubby cheeks puffing slightly. "I don't believe this imprudent..." she shakes her head causing her straight jet black hair to fall off her shoulders, "...story"

"What?!" Jimin blinks his eyes.

"Why, Julia?" Mia askes calmly, who has already expected this response from her daughter. "Why don't you believe us?" an amused smile forming on her red-tinted lips.

"Seriously, mom?!" she scoffs rolling her small eyes inside her socket. "Did you expect me to believe that? You know that I don't believe in paranormal things. What you said was total gibberish. Like how in the world can dad be a ghost and travel from South Korea to India? I'm not a kid anymore, I'm sixteen"

"And I'm seven" Milo adds holding up seven with his small fingers.

Jimin chuckles before answering.

"Julia, we know it's hard to believe for you but we're telling the truth" he states still holding Milo on his lap who's listening to the conversation intently after his hilarious interruption.

"Oh c'mon" Julia stands up from the loveseat she has been seated for the past three hours, "The truth? You guys are clearly lying though I have no idea why. You don't have to fairytalize your story just because you're the power couple, you know" she raises her eyebrow, the sunlight racing through the large window behind her picking on her dark blue strips of hair glowing the rest.

"We're not-" Mia cuts off Jimin's stern voice.

"Okay then," she puts on a challenging look. "Can you explain any other way how we both being from two sides of the world and never ever seeing each other except for when we're small met and fell in love?"

Julia becomes intimidated by her dear mom's look as she starts shifting on her heels opening her mouth to say something but closes not knowing whether her point would be meaningful enough in front of her genius mom having an IQ of 189 and a Nobel laureate on top.

She sighs throwing her hands in the air, "I'm done!" she walks off clicking her long heels on the porcelain marble tiles. "I still don't believe it and I never will" she presses the button of the lift to go to the top of their mansion.

"Julia! Jimin calls, "You can't just leave"

The lift dinged and Julia elegantly steps inside turning around to roll her eyes at her now lunatic parents and her little annoying brother.

"Come back her-"

The doors have already.

"It's okay, Chim," Mia consols her husband by placing her hand on his thigh. "She'll come to us, eventually. She's our daughter, right? She will know the truth soon" she smiles at Jimin who immodestly melts.

"Alright" he turns when a ringing sound comes from beside him.

Milo goes and picks up his dad's phone, touching an icon causing a holographic screen to pop up before them showing Jeon Jungkook, his wife Jeon Saerom, and their first son Jeon Jeonsan smiling wide at the camera.

"Hello! Jimin hyung, Mia and Milo" Jungkook's voice's instantly heard.

"Heyyo! Kookie uncle, Sae aunt, and Jeonsan hyungie" Milo waves vigorously, jumping in front of his parents before they could even greet back.

The families at both sides of the camera chuckle at the younger's enthusiasm.

They start talking and interacting with each other about how their week went and everything about life. Jungkook asks about Jimin's dance institution and Jimin inturn his life being a song producer, both of their jobs after disbandment.

Mia's eyes however divert to a very diminished figure of something rather someone walking past their living room. She squints her almond eyes to get a better look but the figure has already vanished. She shakes her head blinking her eyes a little before she was pulled into a conversation with Saerom.

Meanwhile, our Park Julia walks towards her room mumbling under her breathe about what she has heard before from her dear parents. She wants to believe but her belief that science is the explanation for everything and everything solely depends on it doesn't let her. Well she's right, isn't she? But...sometimes even the almighty science won't be able to explain certain things in life.

For example-

Well, let's see.

Julia presses on the button outside her room, a transparent screen pops in front of her to type the password. She does and the door finally opens to reveal her humongous bedroom. She walks further into the room without glancing at her surroundings much. She kicks off her heels and ties up her shoulder-length shiny hair into a high bun humming a silent tune to herself. But the melody stops when she catches some sort of movement from the corner of her eyes.

She turns around, for the first time since coming to the room passing her narrowed eyes through her surroundings. Her eyes topple over the thick books on her study table, her sea-blue king-sized bed, a huge bookshelf, and every luxury in the room to ultimately rest on a back turned figure in front of her long balcony window.

She squints her eyes taking in the broad shoulders, shiny blond hair, and a muscular body under casual clothes. It's indeed a guy but how did he get inside her room? Is he a thief?

"H-Hey!" she calls backing away slowly.

The figure freezes before leisurely turning around.

Julia parts her lips, a gasp stuck in her throat.

The guy was the most handsome guy she has ever seen in her sixteen years of life. His fresh green eyes, that blond hair illuminated by the sun, and those thin cherry lips. She is entranced by his charming smile that forms on his face extending his square jaw after he realizes who she is after a moment of confusion.

"Aren't you Julia Park?" he asks in English, his voice extraordinarily deep causing our stunned Julia to suck up a breath. "Can I know where I am?" he furrows his thick eyebrows.

But all he got was silence.

He rubbed his neck awkwardly doubting whether she has actually called him or not.

"Hey, I think you didn't recognize me," the handsome young man decided to try again by extending his muscular arm for a handshake. "I'm Sean Efron and I'm supposed to be at my home in Australia but what am I doing in the infamous Park's mansion? I've no idea" he scratches his head confused beyond his wits.

Julia's eyes widen to an immense size.

Zac Efron's Son?!

And...

She screams.

History can repeat itself, right?
