Redemption Never Came.

Some where on human habitats.Time Unknown.

A Young child was running.He had scars all over his body ,torn clothes and tired and feared look in his face. He kept running forward in fear. He didn't dare to look back. He was afraid that the creatures that had invaded his home will find him.

The period of running was undoubtedly the most torturous one for him as if he was constantly fighting for his life.

During the few days, Alexander had felt what it was like to walk in hell. Everything he did seemed to be as dangerous as walking on a tightrope.

However, things were different now.

Alexander had escaped from that hell. As long as he left this forest, he would be able to find military base and could save his people.This unreal illusion gave Alexander great motivation.

Even the sharp thorns around him or the bushes that had fallen for some reason couldn't stop his from escaping.However, he was wrong about one thing. The Forest blocking the military base was too big. He wouldn't be able to get out of here even if He walked for a day.

The key was that the night was coming.

It was pitch-black around him, the usual chirping sound of the birds were now so ear-piercing.

At that moment, Alexander suddenly heard rustling sounds coming from the trees and bushes behind him, as if something flashed past.

"Who's there?"

Alexander stopped in his tracks.

"Who's there?" Alex shouted one more time.There was no response. It was obvious that it wasn't the creature that had attacked his country. Instead, there were more rustling sounds coming from the bushes.

If it wasn't the creature, then what was it?

Young Alexander immediately realized that this might not be a forest of human territory at all.In other words, there couldn't be any other humans in this forest.

After saying that, Alexander didn't dare to hesitate and continued to run towards the out of the forest.

Along the way, fear gradually eroded him and the surrounding air.

His legs even trembled from time to time. Even if he was physically exhausted, he would try his best to run forward.

He didn't want to die.He still have to save his mother who was still stuck in fight between invaders and humans.At that moment, he stumbled onto a branch, and the next moment, Alexander fell to the ground.

The frequency of the sound in the grass also increased. The speed of the shadow was definitely not like that of a human.With the help of the moonlight, Alexander could only catch a trace of the shadow.

"Mom ,Dad"

"I still have to save mom.I still have to fulfill the promise with dad.I don't want to… I really don't want to die here…"

He didn't have the strength to run anymore. He could only sit on the ground, unable to move.

At that moment, giant figures gradually appeared in the grass.

The Giant hyenas stared at Alexander, who was sitting on the ground, as if they were playing with their prey.Giant hyenas were native beast of this planet before human take over the planet.

That was the expression of a predator playing with its prey.

At that moment, Alexander's heart was filled with despair.

"It's over"

His voice had become hoarse from calling for help.

All he got in return was the sneers and teasing of beasts. They seemed to be tired of playing with him and were ready to treat him as their food.

The beasts walked closer and closer, as if teasing him. They moved very slowly.

Alexander leaned against the tree behind him. He opened his eyes and saw a group of hyenas shining with a faint blue light. They were already in front of him.

If they were in country, there would be countless military people protecting him right now, right.

But now, he could only face death. Alexander bit his lip reluctantly.

He had no room to resist. Alexander could only hope that the beasts would end his life in an instant, so as to reduce the pain in his life.

However, feline creatures were not like this.

Every beasts were the same. They liked to torture their prey before they died, and then slowly taste the despair and helplessness of their prey.

How could they let Alex die so decisively?

Alexander simply closed his eyes and welcomed death.

However, in the next second,he remembered his mother in front line not caring about anything ready to give up on life to protect his life and rest of the people.He wanted to strong as his mother and father who protect others not a weakling who gives up.

Alexander opened his eyes with strong belief.Looking around he saw five hyenas coming towards him.He grabbed the broken branch as a sword.The hyenas pounced at him from his all side.Rolling and dodging the attacks,Alex standed in his feet.His hands and feet were still shaking as he had exhausted his stamina after running for a day and a night with minimal rest to reach military base as soon as possible.

Seeing that they had missed an attack on their prey , they became enraged. Becoming more furious and ruthless.Dodging and counterattacking when the chances came Alexander fought a long and heavy life and death battle.

After killing last hyena Alex was bathed with blood of his and the beasts.He had lumps of flesh missing in parts of his body, wrist broken and deep scar on his chest of bite marks and claws.Not looking at his condition he went to way of military base.Holding the broken branch for support ,he dragged his broken body.

Reaching the outskirt of the forest,Alexander was excited as long as he reaches military base and explain the situation about invaders he could save lots of people.

"Hel.....p"

"Help"

Heavy foot steps and vehicles sounded ahead of Alex.After a few minutes group of military family and trucks came in his sight.

"Help"

Seeing heavenly injured Alex solders gasped.Alex figure was horrifying.Alex was about to pass out ,losing lots of blood and energy it was taxing for 12 year kid.

General Max came in-front of Alex.looking at near death Alex he was sorry.Holding his heart strong,he looked into Alex eyes.Alex eyes were burning with passion and killing instinct.

"What happened.Where are your parents."

"A space rift opened in our city ,demon race placed isolation barrier around the city disabling communication.Mom and soldiers are fighting and protecting people."

Coughing blood Alex kneel down on a knee.Not caring the pain came Alex grabbed Generals hand.

"Please help me contact my father and help my mom"Alex started crying.And soon passed out.Seeing Alex has passed out.General looked at his comrades and order.

"Take this kid to base and treat him.And check for any space disorder.If this kid said is true ,ready for battle"

Soldiers followed their captain order.Soon battle siren was heard,every soldiers and generals were battle ready.

"Eighfield has been attacked by Demon race.We are going to battle.We don't know how powerful and many are there."

"Roll out"

After all the soldiers went out in their vehicles and spaceship,General Max turned his head toward Military emergency room.Alex was kept inside capsule to treat his injuries.His condition was extreme and took long time.Looking at Alex General Max was angry and sad.A 12 year old kid travel all the way from city to base for saving people.

"General, we found boys information."

"Say it"

"His name is Alexander Walker.He is son of Major Lilli and Jones.He is currently 12 years old nearing 13 after a month."

"What" Disbelief and shock could be seen in General Max face.

"Contact Major Jones."

After three days Alex opened his eyes.He looked around and called for help.A nurse came in and stabilized his condition.

"General the boy has woken up"

Seeing that General Max has come nurses and doctor sigh a relief.But General Max mood was heavy ,how was he going to explain the situation.

"How is mom.Did we win"Alexander face was full of anticipation.

"um..hmm.Alex we have to tell you something."Seeing the heavy mood around people ,Alex had a bad premonition.

"Your mother,Major Lilli has passed away protecting the city."

Tears started flowing from Alex eyes without his knowing.Alex grabbed the nearest people was in rage.

"My mom cannot die.She is one of the strongest human.We promised to go to Disneyland together with father."

"Where is father"

General Max started explaining what happened.

It was raining ,Alex was standing in-front of his mom grave.Nobody could tell his emotion as he was looking down.Tears and rain mixed up.He recalled what General Max had said.

Demon race has started a huge war and his father was at front line.Due to the sudden war there was a hole in border defense. The demon ships attacked, and his father led the defense.

Alex's hand clenched tightly. He bit his lips so hard that it started bleeding.

Alex started to walk away.

"He could save her! If he came, he could definitely save mom!"

"But he chose to protect the line of defense and not save mum."

Alex's voice was shaky. His eyes were red.He didn't even came for moms Funeral.

"Whats the meaning of becoming powerful.If you could not save your own wife"

"It was my dream to became a soldier and protect everyone with you and mom but you never came."

Alex red eyes slowly went back to normal.

Alex sworn in his heart that he would never believe in his father.If he want to do something he will do in his own even if he was lacking power."Mom as you said i will became powerful to save everyone but i will never take his help."

After that Alex changed his family name and started living alone.Training alone and hard.
