"Can I have your cellphone number" the man inquired "sure, it's 76....." she updated without even glancing at the man "Alright thank you, I'll text you right now just so you save my number" he said typing on his phone,

seconds later a beep was heard from Mira's phone which she assumed was a text from chase as she just nodded without saying a word,

everyone gave her space as she went straight to the cashier without bothering to line up, since she didn't want to stand in the line due to the condition she was in, if she wasn't pregnant she could have lined up,

she paid the cashier with cash and after that headed for the door exiting the shop, she warked straight heading to where her car was parked but pumped into someone

"watch where you're going or are you bli...?" She didn't Finnish her sentence hearing the voice that responded her "I'm so sorry Mira I wasn't..." "chase you?" She said which sounded more like a question

"yes me, I'm heading to the coffee shop mind joining me?" He offered "I'm too heading there" "I'll take that as a yes" he took her shopping bags from her hands and she just silently gave them to him, she kind of found this man interesting as she already considered him her friend,

they warked in silence and after a few minutes they arrived to the coffee shop Mira spotted her friend with Daniel she seemed to be having a great time considering the fact that she never once saw her laugh nor smile like that,

she really didn't want to spoil it for her "pick our table" she ordered "plessure" chase was very happy knowing that he'll tark to her only and alone, he thought he was going to have tea with Mira's friends but no, guess lucky was on his side,

they headed for the table which was atleast hundred feets from Victorine's One but across,

Chase and Mira sat across each other, chase felt like it was a date and for some stupid reasons he felt the need of having to make everything perfect for Mira, he didn't want to ruin his first date with her,

"Mrs and Mr Lace I'm pleased to see you here, would you like to order something or later?" A beautiful young watress appeared infront of them she was in a blue kneed work dress with a white apron

"I'm Mrs Ford not Mrs Lace" Mira corrected "my mistake, please pardon me Mrs Ford" "it's okay, well I'll have coffee with milk, place an extra cube of sugar" Mira ordered "i'm sorry but I don't think extra sugar is good for the health of your ba.." he stopped himself, Mira noticed his sudden hold back and so brushed it off "you're right, please do not add extra sugar" she said to the waitress who nodded

"and you sir" the waitress asked still her eyes focussed on Mira "I'll have what the lady is having" he replied "Alright, please excuse me" the waitress informed turning away as she left,

Mira wondered why chase was so overprotective they just met today after all, she kept wondering if he was Austin's bodyguard but was snapped out of her thoughts as soon as she heard chase's voice "Mrs Ford, can you tell me more abaut yourself and how you managed to make Austin the heartless prince fall inlove with you" chase asked with curiosity evidence in his eyes

"well I'm not in a position to explain that, just know that I'm destined to be here" she uncomfortably answered as she started massaging the back of her palms, chase noticed her discomfort so he decided to change the topic "so you're here with someone?" "Yes I'm with Vickie, she's actually right there" she responded pointing to where her friend was who shyly waved at her

"oh I see, you didn't want to disturb their date and you decided to have coffee with me instead?" Mira guilty nodded "oh shit, here I was thinking you actually wanted to have Coffee with me" he said as if regretting as he ran his left hand through his short hair

"I'm sorry but can you not see this ring on my finger?" He just shot her a what are you tarking abaut look, with his right brow up "I'm married and much worse pregnant" "I already know that it's just a ring and they are just kids, have you ever heard of a stepfather?" He asked shooting her a duh look,

she was abaut to answer but she heard a beep sound from her phone "excuse me I have to respond to this fast" she Appologised unlocking her phone and he just nodded, she saw it was a text from Vickie which read 'ten more minutes please, this human is great' after Reading it she looked in her friends direction who was already looking at her with a warm smile she blew a kiss in vickie's direction who playfully caught it and placed it on the left side of her chest,

Mira quickly typed responding to her friend 'take your time babe, I'm not in a hurry' she typed and added a winky emojie, after pressing the send button she quickly shifted her gaze on Chase as she didn't want to distract her friend even more,

she didn't know were to start with the conversion as he just blankly stared at her not giving away any emotions she was abaut to excuse herself to the restroom as it was the only place she thought to hide till her friend was ready but luckily the waitress showed up with their orders

"you were abaut to stand up?" he said questionably "Yes you know pregnancy, now I saw coffee and the urge disappeared just like that" she awkwardly responded "Yes I do get that too, is it your first born?" The watress asked placing their coffee on the right places

"Yes it Is" Mira answered "well first borns can be difficult, are you not too young for a child? It's quite tough to be a mother at your age I suggest you maybe.. you know" The women advised "how dare you?" Chase angrily shouted "can you not see the clothes you're in? You're just a worker here, you totally have no right to question your clients here, so I suggest to tark to your manager right now" he demanded,

Mira silently observed the drama, her fingers somehow found their way to her belly, she started wondering abaut her parents would reaction to the news she was just 19, will they perhaps call her a disgrace these thoughts consumed her and tears started rolling down her cheeks which made chase more angry

"i want to see your manager now?" He ordered "he isn't around I'll.." "Just shut your mouth" he took out his phone and dialed some numbers he called it and on a second ring the person picked up "good day sir" the person on the other end politely greeted

"what's so good abaut this day? listen I want you at the restaurant in ten minutes time or else you're fired" "but sir I'm at the restaurant just tell me where you are I'll get there within two minutes" he hastily responded "didn't I buy cameras?" "You did sir" chase didn't wait for his response as he hung up

he turned his focus on Mira who was losing tears, he really pitied her, if this waitress was a man then he could have destroyed her seconds ago, the beast inside him awakened with anger "I will not say anything until this frog Appologise" he informed but Mira seemed to be far away lost in her thoughts

she was lost in her abs's, then suddenly a man appeared In front of them "sir do you have a problem here, I'll deal with it right away" the man spoke whom the waitress recognized as her manager "Mr..mr manager?" She staterred in an unbelievable voice "yes! Did you do something Lucy?" Lucy the waitress just nodded "you did? Don't you know he's your boss, the owner of this restaurant" the manager asked and she just shamelessly shook her head,

the manager was abaut to say something before he saw the hand of his boss in the air stopping him, the manager realised his boss was angry if he won't fix this then the monster in his boss might be waken

"listen here manager, i just want this women to apologize and after that she prepares her leave, she's fired" chase roared in anger,

Mira snapped out of her thoughts and noticed the situation and couldn't help but pity the waitress as she was on her knees begging for her forgiveness

the manager earlier kicked her knees which made her fall to the floor "please forgive me Mrs Ford, if i lose this job then I'll lose my grandmother, she's in the hospital and the money I get is the one I use to pay for her hospital fees..please forgive me" the waitress begged

"get up" Mira ordered "it's okay and don't worry, you won't lose your job now get up" Mira said feeling sorry for the lady since she was the cause of the mess "come park your stuffs, you're leaving now, come back for your pay in two days" the manager informed

"no, you're not firing her chase" Mira rebuked, after a few trials Chase finnaly gave in "Alright fine for the sake of Mrs Ford I'll give you a last chance a very last one...listen Mr manager, this human will have a break for two weeks, now both of you leave my sight" chase said and the women quickly got up and followed the manager

"one more thing" chase said and both the manager and waitress stopped in their tracks without even daring to look back "I don't want this Lady to serve my clients anymore, she should be a dishwasher, now leave" "Alright sir" the manager responded and left,

he pitied the lady as she had no experience which meant getting a new job will be difficult this bitch got this job after having sex with him although he felt sorry for her it wasn't as she spoiled it herself

Victorine and Daniel arrived to Mira's desk they were outside the time the drama took place, Daniel was showing Victorine one of his favorite place on the outside of the mall so they clearly don't know a thing abaut what happened "Mira we can go home now, Austin have been waiting for way too long now he didn't tark to his kids for nearly two hours" Victorine said which snapped Mira out of her thoughts

"ah Vickie you're here, yes you're totally right, let's go home Austin must be missing his kids" Mira said standing up "so when can i invite you for coffee again?" Chase asked interrupting them "anytime, you're the manager of this shop after all I'll just let you know when I'm free" she confirmed,

he nodded and followed them behind holding her shopping bags, Daniel and Victorine were warking along side each other with Mira and Chase behind them

They reached the car where Mira and Victorine got in the car, with Victorine behind the wheel and Mira in the passengers seat, both Daniel and Chase said their goodbyes after placing the ladies shopping bags in the backseat "are we good?" Victorine asked then started the engine as soon as she saw Mira's nod

Meanwhile Lucy seemed to be in a hurry, she rushed to the door after the bodyguard let her in, she hastily knocked on the door with her shaky hands as soon as she reached it, which was instantly opened by an old women who wore in a maid uniform "hello miss, how may i help you?" The old women politely inquired

"hi, I'm Lucy I want to see Mrs lace?" "Mrs lace or you mean the future Mrs lace as they are not yet married nor engaged" the women confusingly asked then a guy appeared infront of them as she tossed the old women aside "hey sweetheart how may i help you? And oldie go to the kitchen, Mrs lace wouldn't appreciate you tarking like that" the guy interrupted,

he wore a pink trouser which sticked on his body with a flowery purple shirt paired with pink sneakers, he had colorful bracelets on both his wrist and his hair was colorfully dyed with rainbow colors, with his girly voice you could tell he was gay

she swallowed hard as the old women left which she assumed she went to the kitchen "babe, are you here looking for a job? Or you're here to see Mrs lace" hearing that Mrs lace made her heart bleed

yes she was so much inlove with chase that she decided to take a job at his restaurant just to get close to him, after she saw him with Mira earlier she was very angry that she decided to humiliate Mira for that reason which she terribly failed as chase almost fired her if not for Mira,

not that she needed the job, she was from a very rich family and money wasn't a problem to her as she was the last born of her family and even if she didn't work the is enough money to support her for the rest of her life,

she have been crushing on the successful bussiness man since she saw him on her parents wedding anniversary, which he was also invited

after laying her eyes on him, she knew she had to make him hers at any cost that she went to an extent of disguising herself to be his worker she even had to sleep with that manager to get a job as she had no experience she was a spoiled brat after all,

Lucy came such a long way that she thought of putting Mira in her place after her humiliation so the best plan was to play chase's future fiancee whom she despises and that's what brought her here, to see chase's future fiance whom she was sure would help her get rid of one problem

"darling are you alright?" The gay guy asked which snapped her out of her thoughts "i'm here looking for Zoe" she answered without thinking, she didn't like addressing Zoe, Mrs lace as she thought only she had the right to carry that title

"Do you mean Mrs lace sweetheart?" "oh yes sorry" "it's okay love, Zoe don't like being called by her name, she might skin you alive if you do so, please behave yourself and follow me" the gay guy said turning to leave as he got inside Lucy with a attitude silently followed him,

as soon as they got to the living room, the gay went upstairs leaving Lucy in the by herself after instructing her to sit, a few minutes later he returned with a beautiful lady infront of him,

the lady looked more like a doll as she wore pink make-up and her outfit in pink, she was in a pink mermaid midi dress paired with chunky pink heels with her pink hair plaited in a waterfall style she truly looked elegant

"hello I'm Mrs lace I mean the future Mrs lace, whatever I'm not supposed to explain myself as I'm gonna be Mrs chase soon" she said in a dolly voice extending her hand in a handshake act, which she put away as soon as Lucy was abaut to take it

"no no no honey, you can't touch my hand, an engagement ring is abaut to go there, anyways how may i help you?" She asked "well I don't need your help just came to inform you that, your fiance was with Mira today at the restaurant whom I think is his lover, i noticed that by their closeness..I thought to warn you as I'm his employee there and after I told him, what he was doing was wrong Mira almost fired me..I mean she gave me a two weeks off just because chase begged her to and I'm going to be a dishwasher now" she lied with crocodile tears in her eyes

I'm the owner of that restaurant not him and he dare give the right to his lover" Zoe roared in anger "yes I'm sorry for giving you bad news but he seems to be giving more rights to her, i was almost fired imagine who could have paid for my sick grannies hospital bill i want you to be Mrs lace not her" Lucy continued faking her tears "thank you for your news but don't cry in my house, the tiles where very expensive dear just go you won't be fired and you can start with your job tommorow as a watress I'll deal with chase myself..now leave!" Zoe shouted,

Lucy didn't mind zoe's rudeness as she was happy to know that she killed two birds with one stone what she meant is as soon as Zoe confronts Mira to stay away from chase she'll gladly do so and she'll just add fuel by telling chase that Zoe threatened Mira, he'll surely dump her and since Mira will block him by then he'll have no choice but cry on her shoulder then she'll eventually make him hers forever and just like that she'll win the game :oh Mira you surely don't know what's coming for you, you were so foolish to have forgiven me so easily: she thought to herself as she exited zoe's gate and headed straight to the bar to get a beer as she was a drunkard

Mira and Austin were in their living room with their suit cases, they planned to go to a hotel to have some couple time, now they were waiting for Victorine who was still upstairs to say their goodbye to her

they heard their door bell ring, Mira went to get it as Austin was in the kitchen making her a sandwich since she claimed to be hungry, she already knew who was at the door since her powers already told her abaut Lucy's plot,

that's one thing she liked abaut her powers, they always alert her abaut any danger abaut to come her way and how to deal with it which meant she prepared herself on how to handle it

ofcourse she pretended to look confused on who the beautiful doll on her door was "you bitch, how dare you sleep around with someone's fiance?" The dolly voice sounded as soon as she opened the door,

she wasn't expecting the doll to behave this way, so she just blankly stared at the doll in amusement of the courage the doll had, ofcourse she did some background and it was confirmed that Zoe was a mortal no magic just a useless Barbie doll
