Chapter 19: Vampiric Abilities

Eri looked at Gambit who spoke to him at a low tone no human would be able to hear.

<"Your powers are super hearing, you saved us and we grateful">

'I though he figured I was a vampire! Man I'm safe.'

<"Tell the others we are about to make attempt draw them out, Sky would run and when they follow need be ready attack them! He just needs charge up!">

'Charge up?' What the hell did he mean?

Eri quickly explained what Gambit told him to the others and they readied themselves.

Eri decided to watch this battle go through and not join the attack, there was no way he would fight without them seeing his monstrous strength and Abilities so this was the best choice.

"Excuse me but what did Gambit mean by charge up?" Eri whispered to Elsa who was busy readying herself for the ambush.

She took her time to think before replying, "his ability only works if he holds his pee when he's pressed, you know?" Even Elsa couldn't explain it perfectly.

However Eri got the message, 'what kind of useless ability is that?'

Soon enough the plan was set in motion and Sky ran out from the spot he hid with an incredible speed Eri was farmiliar with.

As he got a distance from the police station he waited for the alligators but they didn't come out which was obvious so Skylar took another approach.

"HEEEYYYYYYYYY! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" He screamed and was immediately replied with an equal growl from within.

Soon enough the alligators began to come out from their hiding spot two at first then one final which was the biggest followed right after.

Three against one was pretty unfair so Gambit came out of his hiding place and blasted fire to one.

It hit it square on the side but the distance dulled the attack so it only screamed but surely he had it's attention now.

Now it was just two on one.

Elsa put her hand into her bag and picked up a small container of some sort tapping a few buttons on it and it instantly elongated to become a spear.

"Protect Eri Carlos!" Elsa told him before running out to attack the third alligator from behind.

It was a nice plan of ambush.

Eri only stared and felt Carl tug him back further a bit, he noticed in the distance the golden sun rays already rising and something in his told him that it would be dangerous to his health.

[You will die if you stay long in the sun]

'As if I hadn't figured that out,' this was a large disadvantage and Eri could not simply wait here especially with Carl. If the sun was to rise here he would die from the scorch.

Clink! Eri's ears moved to the slight movements from the station. He couldn't hear it before but thanks to the noise they were making outside the hidden beings inside had chosen to come out.

Three alligators just came out from the police station gates and headed to join the fight.

It was not the problem with being outnumbered that gave Eri a feeling of apprehension but where they were headed.

'Elsa is standing back faced to them, she will not be able to block if the attack!' Eri but on his lips on contemplation. Not only was the sun about to ride now Elsa was about to die.

"Damn!" He released a hiss to the air before patting Carl on the head.

"I have to go help Elsa!" Carl who also noticed this fact turned around to tell Eri but as he looked back he was gone.

Fwooom!

Faster than the man's eyes could comprehend, the dust on the streets splitting apart from his movements and the air tearing apart, Carl could only decipher a blur of red speeding down to Elsa.

"Eri?"

As Elsa was about to attack the Alligator in front unoticed, she realized the hovering of an enormous shadow above her.

"HAYYAAACK!" She turned around sharply to see the large fangs of an alligator plunging down for her too fast for her to react she dimmed her eyes in fear and....

Snap! Elsa felt taken off her feet and instantly opened her eyes to be lying in the hands of a man.

With the pre-sun rays in his face and his hair flowing in the air, Eri stared at her with a sign of relief and her cheeks reddened in embarrassment.

"Thank you," she managed to mutter at a low tone.

Eri had forgotten to take his weapon before so he grabbed unto Elsa's spear prying it from her hands softly, "can I borrow this."

Elsa's eyes grew wide as the alligators were upon them again, "wa-watch out....." She panicked but in that same second a violent gale of wind blew and the head of the alligator skin off it's neck letting blood rain down.

She stared at Eri stunned as he stood before her, with a bloody spear and she questioned if he was human, 'he killed the alligator in a blink of the eye, is that... Even possible?'

The next alligator pounced at him with it's fangs snapping at Eri but it was too slow as he leapt into the air and quickly manuevered down with a back flip lodging the end of his spear into it's eye socket.

"KRUCK!" The alligator shook like a fish out of water in attempt to escape but Eri did not give it the chance to using more of his vampire force to push it further until the alligator went limp.

The third one was growling and approaching with caution already knowing the tier of the enemy.

'Damn I can already feel my skin crawl from the sun! Why the fuck is it not attacking!' Eri was enraged and in rage he charged first disappearing from the view of the alligator in a second and as it serched for his location Eri appeared before it's eyes and slashed through it's bthroat with his Vampiric Strength killing it.

'Ever since we killed those aliens I have gotten so strong, maybe it's because of the stats I upgraded or so! But I am unstoppable!' Eri turned to the sun it's golden rays were about ten metres and getting closer, with his speed he could escape it in no time.....

"Sky!" Carl screamed from the distance calling Eri's attention to look at Sky.

"What the fuck?" Sky had killed on alligator but was already on the ground bleeding profusely, now all that was left was the final alligator Elsa had failed to kill.

No one could reach in time but Eri.

'This fool never liked me from the beginning, even if I run I won't reach him, but just for Carl you live another day Skylar!' Eri stamped his foot into the ground exhaled hard and hurled the spear into the air at lightning speed.

The spear flew across and tore through the skull of the alligator that attacked sky killing it.

"Now, I have to get cover...." Eri's mouth fell agape as the sun rays hit him, he immediately felt his skin begin to burn and knew.

"I'm dead."
