" Then it will be my pleasure, my love" I hugged her.

We remained in each other's embrace for a few minutes. 

" I missed you so much, " she whispered in my ears.

" I too...miss you," I said.

She moved away from me and looked at me seriously.

" Then why are you late? Don't you know I will be waiting for you? It had been four hours you left me alone" she pouted.

I cupped her face and pecked her pouty lips.

" Sorry...love. It was urgent work. " I informed her.

" No need to say sorry. Let's go to have our lunch. I am feeling so hungry, "she said and held my hand. I hissed in pain with her tight grip.

She checked my palm and noticed the cut in my palms.

" What happened? How did you hurt? " She asked while tears were falling down her cheeks.

" Nothing... it's a small cut…" I said, wiping her tears with my left hand.

" Don't talk. I can see how deep the cut is…" she yelled at me.
