Investigation's On!

(Somewhere in a luxurious hotel)

An old man was seen with a walking cane, and he was looking around specifically to find someone. He found the man he was looking for, someone with a burly body in a handsome suit.

"It's good to see you here, Mr. Holmes", he said as he smiled at the man. He was none other than the Chief. He smiled back at him and looked around and whispered to him.

"I have trouble contacting one of my right-hand men. You see, he was very dear to me, and I am unable to contact him. I would like it if you could find him for me", he said and looked around to make sure none were listening.

The Chief nodded his head and gave him his best smile. He puffed his chest out and took a deep breath as he swirled the glass he had in his hand, and raised it above his head.

"Do not worry, Congress Leader. I will find him. I would need his name and description though", he said and took out his notebook. The man then began to give him a description of the man, and he noted it down.

"And his name is Harry Winchester?", he asked for a confirmation. The other man nodded his head. He noted it down and looked at him, to observe if there would be anything connected to him.

The wrinkles on his face covered up most of his expressions, but his eyes had a different story. There was a deep-rooted sadness in it, and the way he was moving it around showed that he was cautious of other people hearing his story.

He was wearing a white suit, with a red handkerchief peeping out from his top left pocket. He was leaning onto his walking cane and was slightly limping to his right. He adjusted the pair of glasses he was wearing, and a young man followed up from behind him.

He looked the same as him, but he looked much younger than the Congress Leader. He walked up to him and held him close to him.

"Dad, people are waiting to meet you", he said in a low voice and the Chief heard it. He smiled and excused himself away from him, and was enjoying the party.

He sat down and pulled out his phone, looking into who the man was and why he had gone missing. 'I will still anyhow take credit for Jack's work. Just let him do all the groundwork. We'll let him know that this man could be a potential person of interest', he thought as he typed a message and sent it to him.

"Even if he has the talent to become the next Sherlock, I will not allow him to. I will keep the Holmes name safe, be it the right way, or the wrong way", he smiled as he completed his wine and left the party, taking a break from all the formalities which was tiring to him.

(In the club)

Jack was running through the footage and was looking very keenly at anything that could show him something suspicious. But he couldn't find any, and that was the most confusing for him.

'No matter how smart someone is, they would always make a mistake. But this guy has not only cleared every trace of himself, there is no digital print too. Just how did he get in without hacking?', he thought as he looked at the footage again and again.

He was also waiting on the autopsy reports from the first body, and here he was dealing with another one within a time of 24 hours. He began to wonder how Sherlock was the best in the business, and for 30-plus years.

"He really is something else", he said out loud and left the room to begin questioning the owner of the club on who was using that room. He walked up to a room and saw two people standing guard in front of the door.

He showed his ID, and the men moved out of the way. After giving it three knocks, he waited for a response from inside. But he was confused when he didn't receive any.

He pulled out his gun from his holster and was about to knock the door down when a woman came walking out of the door and had flushed cheeks. There were some visible drops right over her cleavage, and she was licking her tongue seductively as she passed by Jack.

"We'll continue from where we left off after we send this gentleman off, Boss", she said in a seductive voice and blew a kiss inside and winked at Jack as she passed by him. Jack had seen a lot of scenes like these, and he knew what the boss was doing.

He walked in as he drew a deep breath, announcing who he was and what business he had. "I am Detective Jack Brown, the investigator of this case. I would like for you to co-operate and we can end this as soon as possible", he said in a polite voice.

The man was pulling up his pants, which barely fit his burly body. Jack began to wonder if those pants would hold when he sat down, and a puff of smoke was visible for him coming right out of his mouth.

"Ahh, Detective. Sorry for my tardiness. I wasn't expecting you and was relieving some of my 'stress'. Take a seat, and let me know how I can be of help", he said as he turned towards him, and Jack began to observe him very closely.

'Time to put my observation skills to the test. Why did Sherlock choose me, and why did the system say that I was a hundred percent compatible? I shall find a silver of the answers I am looking for too', he thought as a smirk began to form on his face, and his eyes began to take in every detail around him.
