37 Chapter 29/Ain't No Fool Part 1

I tried. I tried to be different. I wanted to bring a change to that dim world. I wanted to show that compassion could also be justice. I strayed from that path of course, but I thought I could change it somehow. But that was before I learnt about the real truth. A truth hidden from me so that I could be used as a pawn. I was never alive, I was only a puppet. A puppet at the mercy of everyone. A puppet used as an excuse for a war already lost.

The moment that I heard it. I could feel my heart skipped a beat. My breath became abnormal. I felt a sudden chill down my spine. I was in shock. Uncle Tom continued to talk but my body wouldn't move. Suddenly, my mind went blank and the next second I was sitting on a chair sharing a cup of tea to an old woman. She had her face hidden so I couldn't know who it was. Another blink of eyes away, we were standing up facing each other. This time, I could see her face. It was very clear. That person was.. the Original me.

-' Hello, I suppose you already know who I am ? '
