1 The Quirk *Rewritten

"Yeye I can't wait~ Can't wait~"

"Be patient Zack it will develop in soon time."

"But when mom?"

"When your 4 sweetheart."

"I know I can't wait wait for my party next week."

"What?! Who spoiled it?"

"You just did hehe."

"I-I can't believe I fell for that."

In this world kids develop a Qurik when they are 4 years old. Quirks are superpowers that just started showing up all around the world around 100 years after a newborn was glowing gold. There's 3 types of quirks transformation, emitters and mutation. Mutation is a quirk you're born with usually it's extra appendages or appendages that's not usually on the humanbody. Emitter quirks are quirks that can emit their quirk outside their body without without hardly any negative outcome like being able to control flames without getting burned. Transformation quirks are quirks where you can temporarily boost your body's natural strength, speed, defense etc for a limited time. Quirks development depend on what types of quirks your parents have. 70% of the population have quirks and if you train them hard enough you can be a hero.

My momma haves an emitter type quirk that deals with lightning named Sparks, while my dad has a mutation type quirk named 4-Arms. My parents weren't interested in training their quirks to become heroes. I don't really see why though heroes are amazing. My momma is a librarian, while my dad is a gaming creator for some company.

"When can we goooo?"

Soon your appointment isn't until 3."- Mom

"Dad not gonna go?"

"Sorry sweetie he gotta work."

"Awww."

The only way to tell that a quirk is about to develop is to get a x-ray on your foot to see if a bone growing in your foot that a quirkless doesn't have. If it doesn't develop then you won't develop a quirk. I'm not born with a mutation quirk like my dad so I have to get an x-ray.

*At Bellevue hospital after many x-rays* ( TLN* it's a hospital in New York I'm hinting that they live in New York)

'Finally why did they have to take so many? Its not like I was moving'

"Sorry Zack can't tell you when or even if you're even gonna develop a quirk." -Doctor

"W-What?! Why?!"- Zack

"It seems that the x-ray machine isn't working right."

He picks up one of the x-ray picture and shows it to me and my mom.

"There all like this."

The picture itself was cloudy my foot itself was there but there were no bones at all.

"How's this possible? With quirks relating to intelligence bugs like this should be ancient history."- Mom

"I know it's very weird all we can do here is complain to the manufacturer of the X-ray machine and have someone to fix it. If you want I can get ahold of the local community hospital and ask them to do it?"

"That be great, sorry for the trouble."- Mom

"No problem we weren't expecting this either."

*Later At home*

'Wait I half to wait even longer now'

Dissatisfaction was easily seen on my face.

"Come on don't make that face."

"I've been waiting for this day."

"I know sorry sweetheart but I made you another appointment for next week."

"Thank you momma."

"No problem sweetie now go wash for dinner your father gonna get back too soon."

"K mom."

*Later at the house*

Dad came home soon after I got out of the bath and we're eating supper as a family like we always do. Today we're having some baked chicken that's slightly seasoned with green beans and corn.

"So do you have a quirk?"- Dad

"We don't know know."- Mom

"What?"- Dad

"The x-ray machine wasn't working right."- Zack

"That's rare technology doesn't usually malfunction since the recent advancements in technology."- Dad

"That's exactly what I said!"- Mom

"Well there's nothing we can do about it."- Dad

"Dad what's the new game your working on?"

Dad's been working on a new video games for the last 2 years almost 3 now. It's supposed to be a very big project. It's a mmo that their company is going to be releasing soon for PC. He hasn't said much about it only that I would be able to play it when it comes out. Me and my dad loves to play video games it's our bonding time. Whenever he's not at work he's with me, he barely gets any time away from the company. We've even played some MMO's together with obviously my father's permission.

"Sorry bud you know I can't talk about it."- Dad

"Come on at least give me something.."

"Well the official game is already finished I'm just finishing up a few more bugs."

"Then why hasn't been released yet?"

"Its an important bug."

"At least tell me the genre."

"Fine it's a JRPG MMO."

"That's hardly anything new! It took nearly 3 years to code it?"

"You know know nothing about coding a MMO."

"Hmmm"

I wonder what's so important about the game that he can't even tell me about it. Honestly I just think he's messing with me but why would he keep it a secret for nearly 3 years?

"It's a gound-braking game don't worry about it."- Dad

"THAT JUST MAKES ME WONDER MORE!!!"- Zack

"IT'S GONNA BE THE BEST GAME EVER!"- Dad

Like right now he's just messing with me.

"I feel like I'm raising 2 children."- Mom

"Hehe"- Dad/Zack

My parents gave me more ice cream than normal probably because of what happened at the hospital I'm not complaining tho. But I ate too much sugar and couldn't fall asleep as easily as I do.

Throughout the night Zack's body turned a blue-silver color while all his limbs and head we're being absorbed to the center of his body slowly turning into a solid yet liquid slime body.

Quirk Slime-body

Test has show that the body itself is made of brain cells probably an increased intelligence but utterly useless because there is no way to communicate, no ears, no eyes food is not necessary can't tell if quirk user can sleep. The body of a slime is quite durable but can't make much use of it most that they can do is lightly jump. There's theories that that the quirk users conscious will always be in the Slime body but no actual Theory backs it up as time passes they slowly become less responsive or less jumpy.
