1 The Quirk ***

---- Oh shit here we go again, This is the beginning of the rewrite. Oh btw, *** means it has been re-written or is being re-written. So like figure the rest out by yourself. -----

A young Tota Shizen swung his legs back and forth. His Mother sat with him while the doctor explained to Tota's father the boy's quirk. It had awakened early on in the boy's life just after recovering from a heavy fever. The Fever was in fact the real reason his family was even in the hospital.

The mother was not Japanese, but some kind of Europeans. However she looked native to the area. Her hair was colorful with varying streaks in her hair. Some were dyed while others were natural. She was well fit, but you could see wrinkles starting to form. She played with her son with her soft hands. Her son loved magic tricks and she loved to show her son them.

The father sat across from the doctor on a fairly small chair. He was very much from the city the lived in however he was a large hairy man. Who was slowly balding on the top of his head. The father constantly wished he would grow less hair on his back and more on his head. However that would never happen. If you looked past his bushy appearance he looked just like his son. At least with their facial structure.

The doctor was a short man that looked younger than he should be. He spoke with a manner fact voice. "Honestly we can't say for certain how his quirk will advance. From the tests we have an understanding that the quirk is a fusion of his parents. It's hard to put a name to it or even an explanation. You see I actually talked to a second opinion and the conclusion is that the quirk can be described as evolution."

Tota's father asked, "Doesn't evolution take millions of years?"

The doctor gave a shrug, "Not for your son. Hmmm, To explain. His quirk actually cured his fever. You see, the boy ended up catching a normal flu virus. His quirk activated and cured the flu by evolving the appropriate methods to fight it. The fever was caused by the rapid evolution and production of antibodies that he didn't have. You understand?"

Tota's father nodded, "I think I understand, but why the second opinion?"

The doctor pulled up two x-rays. See this pinky toe, this normally indicates that you would be quirkless. Most people have this bone missing." He then pointed to Tota's chart, "Interestingly his toes, specifically the bones in them are actually stronger than a child his age. The same applies to his hands too."

The doctor lowered the X-rays. "From this we figured he was actually born with his quirk awakened. Melding all his bones faster than a normal child. Your boy will be almost 180 cm when he is at the age of 11. By 13 your son will likely be around 183 cm. This is the slow effect of his quirk. From what we can tell, his quirk has two effects. A slow effect like I just explained, or an instantaneous effect like with the fever."

Tota's father spoke, "Oh wow, that's actually pretty crazy. Eh, what is the catch though, surely it isn't that simple."

The doctor nodded, "The boy will slowly eat more and more. By assumption we believe eventually his body will store calories to evolve faster or more instantaneously. This means he will likely put on some heavier weight. So I'd advise you to watch his development and if anything seems off you should take him in for a check up. You never know how his development will happen."

The doctor paused in the conversation, "On the bright side, your son's quirk has rid itself of the more negative traits in his genetics, like your male pattern baldness, some hereditary diseases and even expanded the positive genes. He will be a great studier and an even better athlete despite the possible weight gain."

Tota's father spoke, "Right, thank you doctor."

He got up and walked over to his wife and son. He picked up Tota in his arms and the small boy smiled. The doctor spoke in a low voice, "Such a perfect quirk."

As the family left the Mother turned to her Husband. "I don't trust that doctor, let's never come to this hospital again. I don't know what it is, but this place feels wrong."

The Father looked around as they left, "I understand what you mean. It feels like the walls are too small compared to the outside."

----So here is the first re-written chapter. Changes, MC's name Destiny ---> Tota Shizen. I think this is far better and clever since according to google translate Shizen Tota means natural selection. You know like Darwinism. Btw It's First name, Last name. So Tota is the Mc's first name.----
