18 Chapter 18: Quirk Apprehension Test
- Sports Ground – U.A. - 20 minutes later.
It took twenty minutes for Class 1.A. to find the U.A. Sports Ground with the friendly help of a teacher who had nothing to do with their own.
It seems like something like this happens every year, so the school's principal, Nezu, sends a helping hand there every year so the students won't all be expelled once again for not coming to the Sports Ground even though they didn't even know where it was.
Yes, this happened the second year Aizawa took the job as a teacher, and since then, Nezu has sent an extra teacher there every year.
Funnily, Aizawa isn't even supposed to do that test on their first day.
Anyway, it was now 20 minutes later, and every new student from 1.A. stood in front of a grumpy-looking man who just explained what test they would do now.
After one of the students said it would be fun, the teacher instantly dashed this statement and said that the last one on the rank list would be expelled.
'Is he for real? I will never be last place, considering my Devil Fruit is too versatile, but still… I don't even want to know how many would-be heroes he expelled from this school and ultimately from their dreams. If you are expelled from the Hero course of the U.A., there is no way any other Hero school would take you in.' Izuku thought to himself, somewhat complicated when he saw Aizawa staring at him with an irked look.
'What is this guy's problem? We didn't even meet until now, did we?' Izuku thought.
He had already seen that look from his former teachers and never expected it to get in this school also.

Unknowingly to Izuku, he once again gained an angry look from the blue-haired boy from the entrance exam, but this time, the boy also looked a bit ashamed. He knew Izuku was right. 'If it weren't a test, I would have done the same!!'
Before they could go any further, Aizawa started to glare at them and slowly followed with some threatening words.
"If you are here to make friends, please leave," Aizawa said before throwing a ball at Katsuki.
"Now that we are finally done, Katsuki, you were the real first place in the entrance exam. How far could you throw the ball in middle school?" Aizawa asked, gaining some curious looks from the other students.
"Real first?" Izuku muttered while tilting his head at his teacher.
"60m," Katsuki said simply, smiling at his teacher. He really liked that one, He thought to himself.
"Okay. Now throw it with your quirk like I already told you before."
Without further ado, Katsuki threw the ball with a loud 'DIE' scream.
When the ball finally landed, Aizawa held up his phone screen for the class to see, and on the screen was a score that shocked many of the other students.

"Now. Let's decide your usefulness." He said with a weird, creeping-looking smile before the tests officially started with a 50-meter Dash.

To the shock of the class, Izuku didn't even need a second before clearing the Dash.
"Well, this is certainly my area of expertise," Izuku said. Katsuki, who had just finished behind him, glared at him with hatred. At the same time, a black-haired girl with jacks hanging down her ears looked at Izuku with wonder.
'His quirk looks so similar to him...' She thought to herself, deciding to watch the boy some more.
