39 Chapter : 37 A smile

(MC POV)

We quickly got off the bus, the students wore an excited smile as they look around the huge facility.

Getting off and looking around, I also could not prevent my lips from stretching into a rather unsettling smile.

The USJ span over a wide area which the eye could not fully see. There were the flood zone, the fire zone, the collapsed zone, etc.

And all those different location was inside a gigantic semi circle construction. I look up and saw the huge metal that protected us from the outside.

It was a magnificent place. It was like a giant amusement park.

"This is just batshit crazy." I muttered as I look around. I cannot fanthom the money spent to build something like this.

How the fuck did they get all that money, truly a wonder. Imagine, being so financially well that you begin building fake cities which you destroyed intentionally to make it look like a disaster..

My world is awesome compared to the one from my memory, where 3 billion starved.

"Is it? I thought this is a must for a world renowned institution like UA." Momo, who was walking next to spoke out.

"Yes what can I say, but as expecred of UA." Ida also announced his presence. Both walking to my right and left side respectively.

I don't know why but after I appointed them as the Vice Presidents, they always try to stay close to me. Waiting for orders maybe?

"Of course, you would say that you fucking rich brats. I wonder when you two realised your parents earned money and not make it." I grumble.

"Oh!! So vulgar?" Momo said with her hand covering her mouth.

"But yes, there was a time where I thought my parents could create money." Momo confessed.

"But President, I heard from Midoriya that your family is quite rich as well." Ida asked.

"Wealth depends on the person measuring it, its not just about money. I pity whoever was poor enough to only have money" I said and dodge the topic about my family's financial situation.

We were rich...really rich but my parents were the type that wanted to live humbly.

Yeah..the mansion that we live in was a humble home for my parents. Still can't wrap my head around how my goofball parents earned so much money

"Such wise words!!" Ida exclaimed and I just ignored him and made my way to the gate.

The students gather around, Aizawa sensei and another person wearing a spacesuit were at the front.

"Students, this person right here is a pro hero and a member of UA staff, Thirteen" Aizawa sensei introduced the new face as Thirteen waved his hand.

"Thirteen where is All Might, I thought he said we would meet here?" Aizawa sensei asked.

"About that senpai, All Might about reach his limit during his morning commute. He said he would join near the end though" Thirteen whispered while putting his three finger up to signify that All Might have reached his three hour limit.

"The height of irrationality. We must start without him." He whispered back.

"Kids, it seems that All Might would not be able to make it. He will show up afterwards." Aizawa sensei announced.

The studentss muttered their disappointment but they understand how busy the No.1 hero would be.

Aizawa look towards me and I just gave him the hard eyes.

I expected this but a little part of me also expect to see All Might after what I said in the class.

"Well students, welcome. This facility have all the disasters that you can imagine. I built it myself and I named it the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint'." Thirteen began telling us about what the facility contained.

"I can't believe it.. Its really Thirteen!!" Ochako exclaimed in excitement.

"A fan?" I questioned.

"Of course!! She is my favorite hero!! Do you have any idea how many people she have saved? Countless!" She replied with fangirl aura leaking off her.

"Before we begin, I would like to say a few things." Thirteen announced.

"As you all know, my quirk blackhole is a very dangerous quirk that suck and tear apart anything on contact" he began

"And you have saved countless using it!!" Deku said.

"Indeed but my quirk can also easily kill. I have no doubt many have similar quirk as mine" The students face was solemn as they heard that.

"In our society, quirks are heavily restricted and monitored. It may seem like a stable system but we must never forget that a single mistake could kill someone."

"In Aizawa's training, you learned your hidden potential and in All Might's training, you learned the dangers your respective quirk carried."

"But in this training, I hope you all realise the good your quirks could bring and learn that you are not meant to inflict harm but to save people as a hero!!" She bowed as she finished her speech

The students clapped their hands and were motivated.

'Killing..huh?' I mused to myself. In this world, heroes are allowed to kill but are not suppose to. If that made sense

In a fight between a hero and a villain, especially if both were equal in strength, the Hero would definitely lose if they hesitate, and in this case, the hero is allowed to heavily injuire or worst kill the villain.

But the media backlash would not be pretty. Especially if the dead villain have close relative. The media would mold the story and portray the Villain as good as possible and make the Heroes the bad guy. All for the sake of views.

Heroism had become a career and Heroes are like celebrity. So reputation was an important part of the job. You do not want to be known as a killer.

But that implies to only villains who have not caused much damage. If there was a villain who massacre civilains and died by a Hero. The public would not bat an eye.

There is a fine line between those two. But if you have so many murder case, your licence could also be revoked as a hero.

To sum it all up, a hero can kill but they should not, like the police. That is why heroes train so much, to be strong enough to be able to capture and not kill.

And that is why being a Hero is for the truly strong individual.

"Well, staying around and wasting time is not rational, lets get started." Aizawa sensei lead us inside.

But as soon as we step in, we saw a swirling black mist at the distance in the central area, near a fountain.

"Everyone halt!!" Aizawa said as he spread both his hands.

He squinted his eye and his dry lazy eyes widen in alarm.

I also put my power in my eye to take a look. I did not have to worry about Hagakure as she wore her gym clothes today.

As the purple mist grow bigger and bigger, a pale man with light blue hair walk out, his eye was a window to his insanity.

His face was covered by a hand and different hands were also present around his body. It gives off a very creepy vibe.

He step out of the mist but not only that, the swirling mist continued growing and many other people came out.

My attention was on the monstrous birdman beside the pale man. If I hate the Nomu before, seeing his bird head, I absolutely lothe it.

"Huddle up students!!! Thirteen protect the students!!" Aizaw shouted, the emotion his usual flat voice carried stunned the students.

"What is it, more battle robots?" The students were confused as they could not get a clear veiw of the villains. They were too far away.

"No..those are Villains." Aizawa revealed as he gave me a side glance.

'Told you so' thats probably what my face told him. With anger added.

"Eraser head and Thirteen is it? From the staff schedule I got the other day All Might was suppose to be here as well." The mist gather into a form and it spoke, its eye was glowing with hostility.

"Where is All Might, We brought so many playmates for him. Is he not here?" The pale man spoke. His coarse voice echoed through the facility sending shivers down the students.

"I wonder if some dead kids would bring him here?" The students pale in fright.

A frightening aura spread across as he finished his statement. Seeing so many villains, who would not hesitate to take your life was a frightening sight.

Their presence and bloodlust alone caused the weak willed students to tremble while the brave ones grit their teeth.

It was the real deal. It was too early for the students.

It was a feeling foreign to most. It was evil unleashed.

I also shivered....I tried to control my expression, to try and look calm.

My heart pick up a beat..It began beating erratically.

I grit my teeth as hard as I could to prevent my lips from showing what my heart was feeling right at this moment...

But that failed..I could not control myself..

"Bakugo, are you alright?" Hagakure asked with concern seeing my current form.

'No..Don't let it show...Act normal!!'
