12 Disappointing? All Might's Teachings

"Alright, get to it!" All Might told me.

"Eh?" I uttered.

Maybe this was just a joke? I was standing in front of a rather messy field that was around the Sekoto Park area. Junk cars, thick chunks of concrete, and more littered the tall grass. Most of the trees nearby were dead, scarred by scorch marks from flames.

"What exactly am I supposed to do here?" I wondered.

"Clean up, of course! Why do you think I brought you out here?" All Might chuckled.

How was this going to help me control both One For All and my Quirks at the same time? I activated Gear Two and started cleaning the field up. Thanks to my Overdrive, these garbage, rusty cars weigh little to nothing! It didn't take me too long to clear the field of litter, maybe about 3 and a half minutes to be exact? I brushed my hands off and stood triumphantly in front of All Might.

"Done and done! That wasn't tedious at all!" I smirked.

"Wonderful, now, do it again." All Might replied.

I heard a warp sounding noise and I turned around. I let out an annoyed groan as I realized that all of this mess was just a hologram. All of that work, albeit I accomplished it quickly, was all for nothing it felt like. I even restored the grass around the area!

"BUT! Don't use your Overdrive, instead, use One For All." He continued.

I nodded at him and activated One For All at 25%. I've been trying to go higher but no matter what I do, I can't raise my limit. It was a little difficult to lift these cars, the chunks of concrete I could tell I wouldn't have too much of a problem with, but these old cars were a different story!

"You haven't been slacking off on training with One For All, have you?" All Might asked.

"N-No...! I've been... Trying my damnedest... To go to at least... 30%!" I struggled a bit to answer.

I tossed the car I held to it's original spot that I had it in. Before I moved onto the other cars, All Might stopped me.

"Now, did you feel that stress? All that heat building up in your arms, does it feel similar to your Overdrive?" He questioned.

I looked down at my arms, "Yeah, it... Kind of did?"

"Alright, take those feelings and combine them. Make that fire burn brighter and hotter than what is it now!" All Might advised.

I nodded at him and closed my eyes, I'm really glad that Great Grandpa taught me Total Concentration Breathing once I met him, it's honestly made things a bit easier! I activated my Overdrive and began to meditate in the air. I felt my entire body get hot as the heat from One For All began to spread throughout my body. I slightly tightened the grip I had on my knees, I shot open my eyes as my entire chest got hit with a sharp pain, I fell to the ground on my ass as I held my chest.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!" I quickly yelped.

One of the breaths I took was way too deep, it made me lose focus completely. I stood back up as I got control of my breathing again.

"Damn it, I'm never going to get this right! How come I can use 25% without problem, but yet, I can't even use it alongside my Overdrive? I'm sure I can use it with my Creation Quirk, that's plain and simple, but why does it have to be this difficult?" I ranted.

"You can't be so quick to give up, Mabel. Try it again, but don't strain yourself so much, let it flow over you." All Might reassured me.

I sighed before returning to my meditation once more, instead of tightening my body, I let it go limp as I activated my Overdrive and as One For All began to creep up again. The heat around my body began to increase, my eardrums burst loudly which shot my eyes open, I was surrounded by a bright array of colors that made it look as if I was traveling forward at a fast rate of speed. It suddenly stopped with a loud boom, the place I was at grew cold. The floor was glowing white but the surroundings were all but void. I turned around and saw a man with long white hair standing behind me.

"Mabel Leonidus, so you're the one that Izuku Midoriya passed One For All down to, hm?" He greeted me.

"Yes, that I am. Are you one of the One For All users?" I replied.

A chair appeared behind him and he sat down, "You would be right, as a matter of fact, I'm the first user. My name is Yoichi Shigaraki."

"W-Wait... Shigaraki? You aren't related to someone called 'Tomura', are you?" I questioned.

"That's not his real name, his real name is 'Tenko Shimura', he's related to Nana Shimura who's talked to you in the past. Me on the other hand, I'm related to the one who started all of this." Yoichi told me.

"All For One..." I muttered.

Yoichi didn't say anything, he looked down at the ground for a while. He looked back up at me, his entire face bore exhaustion, I guess I could see why.

"Your Father and Midoriya 'killed' my brother, but his influence still lives on in Tenko. They tried to cleanse him from his mind but it didn't work. It only allowed Tenko to fool them, which then helped bloom All For One, something that we all were trying to avoid from happening. No matter what you do, you won't be able to save him. So my question is this." He continued.

The silhouettes of the other users with Nana stood behind Yoichi as he stood up from his chair.

"Can you kill Tenko Shimura and end this nightmare?" Yoichi asked me.

*THIRD PERSON*

Shimoda looked up at the tallest building in Japan, Peace Tower, home of the Symbols of Piece. Accompanying her was Ishimoto Midoriya, they both entered the building, hundreds of people were typing away on computers. Ringing phones were being answered almost every minute.

"Huh, I never thought I'd get the chance to visit Dad while he's here! Who are you interning with, Shimoda?" Ishimoto smiled.

"Oh... I'm interning with Leonidus and Creati. Are you interning with your Dad?" She answered.

Ishimoto nodded at her, "Uh huh! You'd be right!"

They entered an elevator and rode up to the 30th floor. Shimoda and Ishimoto stood there in the elevator as it slowly rose to their destination. The elevator doors opened, revealing a huge table with multiple chairs surrounding it. A giant screen displaying the current time, an up to date satellite map of Japan, and a screen that displayed the crime rate.

"Oh, Shimoda, Ishimoto, welcome! It's a pleasure to see that you two made it!" Momo smiled.

"Thank you for allowing us to intern with you!" Shimoda and Ishimoto bowed.

"Let's get started then, first things first, your hero names! What are they?" Leonidus announced.

Shimoda stood there blankly as she hadn't thought of a hero name. Ishimoto was bubbling with pure excitement!

"My hero name is 'Pure Gravity'! No, wait, how about "Zero Gravity' like my Quirk!" Ishimoto beamed.

Deku put his hand on his son's shoulder, "How about 'Interstellar'? That sounds like a good name. We can talk more once we head downstairs."

Deku walked with his son out of the room, Shimoda watched as the door closed, leaving her alone with her former rival's parents.

"So... Have you thought of a hero name, Shimoda? I talked to your Mom about this internship, she said that you had quite a few names listed." Alyx restated.

"Y-Yeah... I... Can I ask you something, the both of you?" She spoke up.

"Oh? What is it?" Momo questioned.

"My Mom told me something... Is... Is it true that U.A. tested on you, Leonidus?" Shimoda hesitated.

Alyx leaned forward a bit, "Yes, that's true. Although I don't enjoy talking about it, it's something I've learned to accept, I've written a book about it as well. What brought this up?"

"They're funding something else... But this time... I-It..." Shimoda faltered.

Momo quickly got up as she saw tears begin to fall down Shimoda's face, "Sweetheart, what's wrong? You can tell us!"

"I-I'm... I'm just so scared! B-Because... They're doing tests on me!" She bawled.

Momo looked back at Alyx, he stood up from his chair and walked over to Momo.

"You stay here and continue the internship, I've got someone I need to visit." Alyx fumed.

*MABEL'S P.O.V.*

I shot awake in a room that looked to be someone's guest room. That man, Yoichi, what he asked me... Could I really kill Tenko? The door creaked open and All Might peeked his head in.

"Ah, Young Leonidus, you're awake! You were passed out for quite some time, I'm assuming you were talking to someone?" He grinned.

"Yes, is it common for One For All holders to have those visions?" I answered.

"Oh, those aren't visions, they're similar to how your Overdrive has that Seventh Plane. The only difference is that you can't enter it freely, at least, I don't think you can that is." All Might informed me.

I got up from the cot and stretched, I do have to admit, I feel somewhat different. I activated my Overdrive and saw violet sparks of energy surround me as well. Glowing violet colored lines were around my body and arms.

"I-I did it! All Might, look! I did it!" I exulted.

"Amazing... That's incredible-" All Might marveled.

I might've gotten too excited and sent a Detroit Smash through the roof of the room. All Might's smile quickly faded as his eyes narrowed and a frown appeared on his face.

"I can fix this!" I nervously laughed.

[10 Minutes Later...]

After reconstructing All Might's guest room, I was sent home being that the internship was done for the day. Although I didn't feel like I did a lot today, I accomplished so much today! As I was walking back home, I felt my Father's Heat Energy suddenly spike the highest I've felt in a little while! He must've been fighting a villain of some sort. I nearly forgot my bag back at school! Using my newfound combination of Quirks, I took off towards U.A. It only took me about 6-ish minutes to get there, much quicker than what it would've been in just Gear Two or 25% of my One For All!

I landed down in front of the doors, right before I entered, Shimoda burst through the doors. I've never seen a such look of fear on her face before until now, what was going on? She clung onto me and was hysterically crying, I was going to say something until my head was rocked by a sharp, stabbing sensation. I looked towards the doors and jumped into the air as Principal Nezu shot out of the building!

"Nice one, kid, I didn't think you would've reacted like that!" A voice echoed.

I looked to my left, then my right but I didn't see anyone, thankfully I held onto Shimoda! Dad marched out of U.A. with a rage I've never seen from him before, it was greater than when Tenko attacked me, which I honestly didn't think was possible. Midnight, Snipe, and Ectoplasm came running out after him. He grabbed Nezu by his suit and held him up.

"HOW FUCKING DARE YOU, YOU SCOUNDREL! HAVE YOU NOT LEARNED FROM YOUR PAST MISTAKES?!" Dad thundered.

I landed back down on the ground with Shimoda, I wasn't sure what to do, what was even going on right now?

Midnight grabbed Dad's arm, "Please, Alyx! Put him down!"

"Put him down? Are you fucking kidding me? You're wanting me to let go of someone that caused me so much pain back then, and is now trying to ruin another child's life because they don't understand their fucking Quirk? This is someone's daughter, Nemuri, not some goddamn personal plaything! What? Are you wanting to continue those fucking tests, are you loving the funding you're getting to unrightfully punish someone? Huh!?" Dad denounced furiously.

"We weren't a part of this, Leonidus." Snipe spoke up.

Dad turned his head to face him, "What?"

"He... He's right." Shimoda confirmed.

Dad looked over in our direction, he slightly lowered his eyebrows, nodding at her to continue. Shimoda didn't say anything, I didn't blame her a single bit. Dad brought Nezu up close to his face.

"You listen to me, I have more than enough power in the tip of my pinky, down to the lowest molecular level, to turn you into dust. People were already in an uproar once Rei released that information about what you all did to me before I left this place. Here's what you're going to do, you're going to make a statement formally apologizing for going behind people's backs YET AGAIN, and you're going to deal with whatever consequences follows. If not, you're going to wish that you never would've been the Principal of this school in the first place." Dad continued.

Nezu nodded and Dad dropped him on the ground. He pushed passed Nezu and walked towards me.

"Come on, let's get home." Dad told me.

I slowly nodded, I looked at Shimoda who was still clinging onto me. I guess we were having a surprise sleepover? I took off into the sky with Dad who didn't bat an eye towards me.

"D-Dad? What was that about?" I asked.

"We'll talk later, Mabel." He responded coldly.

His statement sent shivers down my spine and I kept quiet. It was several minutes of silent flying until we landed down back at home. Shimoda's Mom was there waiting for us as she talked with Mom. Shimoda ran over and fell into her Mom's arms, I walked into the house without saying a word. I figured it really wasn't my business anyway. Ashi wasn't downstairs in the living room, so he was most likely in his room taking his usual after school nap, I went into my room and crashed down onto my bed. I sat there for what felt like forever before I heard a light knock at my door. Dad looked in and walked into my room.

"Hey, I'm sorry for freaking out like that. I should've handled that differently." He apologized.

"It's fine, Dad, I understand." I spoke softly.

He sat down next to me on my bed, "So, I heard you're interning with All Might? How's that going?"

"Oh! I can finally use both One For All and my Overdrive now! I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!" I bubbled.

"That's awesome, kiddo! You're really getting strong, I seriously can't wait until you're a Pro Hero, you'll be amazing." Dad smiled.

"Yeah... I guess so." I sighed.

"Hm? Why'd you sound so 'eh' about it?" He wondered.

I sat on the edge of my bed and looked at the floor, "I know I don't show it, but I don't want to make you disappointed in me... I don't like really fighting."

Dad didn't say anything, I looked to my left and looked at his face, it was almost as if I told him that before. He placed his hand on my arm and gave me a warm smile.

"I'm not disappointed in you and neither will I ever be, Mabel. If you don't like fighting, then that's perfectly fine, I don't expect you or anyone else to for that matter. Doing what makes you happy is all that matters, even if that something might be simple or mundane to others. I used to feel the same way, I still do a little bit, there's no shame in being afraid of a fight." Dad reassured me.

I gave him a hug, "Thank you, Dad, that's all I needed to hear."

"Anytime sweetheart, anything else?" He spoke softly.

"Weeeellll, this is just a question. So, HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING, what if... And I mean what if... I were to um... Establish feelings for Inazuma?" I questioned.

Dad looked at me with a blank stare and a smile still on his face. He wasn't blinking at all actually! I waved my hand in front of his face which finally made him blink.

"Hm? What was that? I was cycling through where I could have possibly went wrong." He monotoned.

"W-What? Went wrong?" I giggled.

He leaned forward and motioned me to come towards him, "Listen, I um... I mean this in the nicest way possible, but well, you might have mental issues."

I burst out laughing as my Dad chuckled, he shook his head and sighed as he sat up from my bed.

"I'm sure your Mother's making dinner right now, she's making God's Greatest Gift to Mankind." He told me.

"No way, Tatertot Casserole! Awesome!" I beamed.

Dad left my room after letting off one more chuckle.

*THIRD PERSON*

In an undisclosed location, Tenko sat upon his throne, examining the unfortunate news of Ashi's rescue by Leonidus and Ms. Invincible.

"So, it seems as if Mabel's done it again, I should've just killed that brat right then and there. Speaking of brats... Has she made her way here yet? I don't have time to be wasted." He grumbled.

Kendo Rappa looked at the door as it creaked open, a woman walked through and stood in front of Shimura, he looked down towards her and smiled.

"I suppose you've been sending him those messages, Runaway?" Tenko asked.

"I have, it's draining, but I've been doing it. I'm surprised you haven't gone and visited him yourself. He should be on his way now." She replied.

She opened a rift next to her and they all stared into it, after a couple minutes, a familiar man walked through the rift. He cracked his neck and brushed the hair out of his face.

"Ah, Tenko Shimura! It's a pleasure to finally meet you, I've heard about your troubles with this world's counterpart of me, it sounds tedious, I thought you were some sort of higher power?" Leonidus smirked.

"Are you mocking me?" Tenko scowled.

"I'm not mocking you, I'm just wondering why you're having a God do a mortal's dirty work. I'd imagine that you'd be capable enough to handle this yourself. It disgusts me that I have to help lift your burden." He protested.

Tenko sighed and placed his cheek on his fist, "Yeah, whatever, I don't give two shits if you're a God. I thought you were going to bring people with you? Oh wait, you killed them all, didn't you?"

"Ah, you'd be correct! I'm starting to relish in your attitude, you know? Perhaps we can be great colleagues by the end of this." Alyx laughed.

"Anyways... I'm sure you know what you need to do? Unless you need time to do it, then feel free, as long as I see results. Waste my time and I won't hesitate to kill you." Tenko sighed.

"Heh, we'll see about that one. Very well then, as long as you don't get in my way either, then I believe we shall be fine." Alyx smiled.

The child that brought Alyx Leonidus to alternate worlds 16 years prior turned into... A villain?! With an alternate Alyx Leonidus being brought into their world, things were about to go from bad to worse!
