19 The Reunion

"we did it, we did it tesh!" suichi overjoyed but dazed and in shock fell down but got back up and got out of the burning room, who knew the fire hed stored up in that knife would be so useful. Actually as he remembers he barely got it accepted as heroes shouldnt carry around weapons like knives, but lucky for him he can make it dull and technically 75% is made from his own thermal creation being focused into the standed steel knife, so it is really just his powers. he turns to whay he presumes the exit until he notice a presence of another person

"well done, i didnt think a new 1st year of ua could take out lady yami and judging off that preformance i think ill have a challenge killing you!" suichi was startled and confused, he could quite make out whether his new mystery killer was excited and pleased or almost sad about the situation, it was almost like the killer specifically didnt want to kill suichi but still gets the thrill out of murder.

"just who are you!" suichi lit a weakened flame out of his hand "or ill force your reveal by giving the house a bit of heating," suichi raised his hand towards the cloaked figure and knew his message had been acknowledged and accepted as the cloaked figure stepped forward. Typical he wore a hood,mask and cloak but he could tell he was short and not overly muscular so depending on the quirk he could take him out close quarters. suichi spoke again cautious as to not give away the fact he was incredibly weakened "so how do you intend to beat me huh"

"its quite simple really i know that while you quirk can be used from afar that you prefer close combat especially vonsidering the martial arts training youve had at ua with the number 1 hero," he paused and stepped closer "the truth is i know you better than anyone yet you have the faintest idea of my strength identity or personality and yet you think you have a chance!"

suichi didnt quite get what he meant "know you better than anyone" what could he mean suichi decided to pry more information out of the mystery man "what do you mean you know me better than anyone?"

"surely you have figured it out, how the hell were you the one i looked up to you, your pathetic maybe ill give you a hint!"

"what is it?" the cloaked figure removed his mask as it turned out his face fas further back as instead of a mouth there existed a beak "i have no idea why you would want to hang out with a loner like me but anyways saturday it is nice to meet you!" he then extended his arm and held out his hand which had a large long scar on it.

(flashback)

"alright class, pack up an lets go out for lunch," the voice came from a woman about 5"4 with one long horn and tail protruding outwards from either side of her body.this was the elementary school called masegaki elementary and it was the school suichi attended it was known for housing quite a few prodigies and problem children. the 3rd class of the day just concluded and the young children made there way out of the classroom toward the cafeteria where they sat down and ate. just like always suichi pulled out his specially made lunch by his mum, a freshly made decorated bento with an extra container of his favourite food also the favourite of his father cold soba. as he finished he stepped outside and as usual had a group follow him "didnt i ask to be left alone?"

there was a group behind him of wide eyed children, most of which were in the same class as him.

"Whats it like having such a famous family!?"

"do the ice trick!"

"can you make something with your quirk again?"

suichi sighed and walked off clearly showing he didnt want to be followed he decided he'd go sit on his usual bench and think about his homework or training or what his parents were doing, but as he sits something catches his eye.

"haha your a waste of space i mean you parents are top heroes and they had to go into a temporary retirement because they had you!"

it was typical one popular kid was finding the lonely and weak and picking on them just to boost their own ego sounds like a certain family friend with explosive sweat back in his school years, normally suichi would ignore it but something caught his eye the kid picking on the other one swung his fist straight into his jaw knocking over the one being picked on.

fine, suichi thought to himself

"what do you think you doing huh?"

suichi strolled over and glanced at the bully

"oh um suichi we were just having a chat with this kid"

"really because to me there was a lot of fist movements involved, so im going to ask this only once go away and leave him alone!" suichi then gestured for him to leave

"why are you helping him hes a freak and a disappointment to his family he is nothing!"

suichi glanced across at the kid lying on the floor, he felt like he had seen him before.

"it doesnt matter who he is or whether i know him all i know is that you are picking on him so one last time please leave!"

the bully decided to go and suichis attention turned to the boy, he walked over and crouched down.

hey ill help you up,give me your hand," suichi grabbed his hand and lifted him up, the boy turned to face him and had a shocked look on his face probably shocked after realising just who his saver was. the boy had scuffed his sknee but it was fine and suichi kept it cold with his ice.

"thank you for saving me i believe we have met but i dont think we know eachother"

suichi suddenly remembered

"oh that gathering a couple of months ago that is why i recognised you," suichi did his best attempt at a smile but gave up " so just why are you sat round here?"

"it is so i can avoid people mainly like that guy because as you know my parents were strong heroes that gave up there posts temporarily for a calmer family life with me, when i was starting school people picked on me telling me that it is all my fault they are no longer heroes and im sick of it, my parents even told me it was nothing like that but i cant help but think about how they could be top 10 heroes still if i hadnt have stopped them."

suichi didnt rally care about most peoples problems but for an odd reason he felt almost like he related to what he said.

"i know what you mean i hate how people only see me for my quirk and how im related to a famous family of heroes so much i dont ever bother to make friends with others and just spend my time training and sitting around i think in that sense i kind of relate to you."

"yeah me too , your name is suichi right ithink your the only person i think i could ever get along with," suichi contemplated but he finally decided he felt the same way

"you know what i have some time on saturday do you want to hang out and have a chat i know a great place for soba however i like mine cold i could get my mum to take us there."

"i dont know why you would want to hangout with a loner like me but saturday it is, nice to meet you,im surprised how with our parent friendship we never met but anyway im teshima, teshima tokoyami!"

(present time)

"t..t.teshima?"

"so you remember then, then you probably remember how you ran and left me to die!"

tears started to run down his dirt ridden bloody face as he fell to the ground

"that not true we were both captured and tortured by the man and the woman you call lady yami until you managed to distract them and let me get help and i did, i got there minutes after and you were gone, presumed dead i was broken that day!"

yet you were quick to replace me, to replace me and make new friend one of which being the offspring of the 2 who did that to us that broke our bond and you still claim to care for me, pathetic!, i should have known better than to accept another false friend into my life and expect change, you are just like the others you are dead to me and you will especially be when im through beating you."

"no"

"what"

suichi put out the flame in his hand and dropped his knife

"i wont fight you, do what you want hurt me in anyway, kill me i you must but i refuse to hurt teshima and though you are not the tesh i knew and may never be again thank to the leagues trickery or maybe even just your true emotions i refuse to hurt someone who has already been hurt enough someone who isnt even just a friend to me yet someone who is a brother come to harm or have to go through more pain due to my actions."

teshima looked a bit shocked but he hid his emotions well

"just know you will die,"

"i know so do what you want but promise me that after today you follow your heart and not anyone elses bidding."

"so be it "

suichi closed his eyes and contemplated his life, it wasshort and sad but atleast he had some fun he slowly drifted of and accepted what was to come...

"2nd generation, delaware detroit smash!"
